Are there any discounts or concessions available for certain passengers?

Asked a year ago
Yes, Transperth offers various discounts and concessions for specific passenger groups. Children aged five to 15 years can avail discounted fares, while children under five travel for free. Students aged 5 to 18 years with a valid SmartRider card receive discounted fares for school travel. Seniors who hold a valid Western Australian Seniors Card are entitled to concessional fares, including free travel during selected times. Additionally, pensioners and Healthcare Card holders can also access concessional fares. Furthermore, Free Transit Zones operate in the central business districts of Perth and Fremantle, allowing passengers to travel for free within these areas. It is advisable to check the official Transperth website for further details and eligibility criteria for these concessions and discounts.
