Are there any restrictions on pets or service animals?

Asked 6 months ago
Yes, TransLink allows assistance animals and pets on board their services but with certain restrictions. Service animals, such as guide dogs, are permitted on all TransLink services without any additional requirements or charges. However, restrictions may apply for other pets. Small pets, such as cats and dogs, are only permitted on buses and ferries if they are securely confined in an appropriate carrier or crate. Pets are not allowed on trains except for assistance animals. Additionally, aggressive or disruptive animals are not permitted on any TransLink service, and the owner or handler is responsible for the behavior and cleanliness of their pet or service animal.
