Using the desktop platform, you can reset your TradeStation password from the login screen.
- Go to the homepage and click on Log In in the top right-hand corner.
- Choose Login under the heading Client Center.
- Click on Forgot password?
- Follow the onscreen instructions and enter the username and email address you used when opening your TradeStation account.
- Hit Continue to receive an automated email to your registered email address that contains a unique link.
- Click on the link and follow the instructions to choose a new password for your TradeStation account.
It could take a few minutes for the email to arrive in your inbox. It's also worth knowing that the unique link in the email is only valid for 15 minutes. If you fail to use it within this time, you'll need to begin the reset password process again.

The process for resetting your password in the TradeStation app is slightly different from the desktop platform, as follows:
- Launch the TradeStation app on your smart device.
- Once the login screen appears, click on Forgot Password.
- Enter the mobile number your TradeStation account is registered to and click Generate OTP to receive a text with a one-time password (OTP).
- Enter the OTP in the appropriate place and press Verify OTP.
- Follow the instructions to choose and enter a new password.
- Hit Confirm.
