Unemployment claims in Tennessee are handled by the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development and managed online through the Jobs4TN Unemployment Claimant e-Service portal. When you initially applied for unemployment, you created an account on this website with an email address and password. You will need these details to check the status of your claim.
Open a new browser window and type www.jobs4tn.gov into the address bar. Hit Return.
You are now on the Jobs4TN homepage. Scroll down the page until you see the words "Unemployment Claimant e-Services," then click it.
On the right side of the page, you'll see the sign-in form. Enter the email address you used when setting up the account to make your unemployment claim. Click Log in.
Enter the password and click Log in. If required, complete the reCAPTCHA form to confirm you're not a robot.
You should now be logged into your account. The dashboard contains all information related to your claim, including your claim status, any payment history, required actions, and the decision on your eligibility for unemployment benefits.

To ensure the TDLWD has all the information it needs to make a decision on your unemployment claim, you may be asked to complete one or more fact-finding questionnaires. These will be sent to your dashboard in the Claimant e-Service portal, so sign in regularly so you can complete any questionnaires before the due date.
You are also required to sign in to submit a Weekly Certification and report on your job-search activities from the prior week.
It can take up to 21 days for the TDLWD to approve or deny your unemployment claim. If it's been longer than three weeks and the claim status is still shown as pending, you should call the TDLWD helpdesk or message them through the Claimant e-Service portal.

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
After helping consumers for 10 years, we realized that you need an impartial, live person you can talk to about comparing the various TV, cable, Internet and phone plans in your area- somebody who can compare the best deals across telecom providers. So we created a free concierge service you can call at the phone number below.
