What happens if I can't complete an obstacle during the race?

Asked 6 months ago
If you find yourself unable to complete an obstacle during a Spartan Race, you have a couple of options. Firstly, you can choose to bypass the obstacle and continue with the race. However, bypassing an obstacle will result in a time penalty, typically of 30 burpees. These penalties are outlined in the race rules and are designed to maintain the integrity of the challenges. Alternatively, if you are determined to conquer the obstacle, you can make an attempt and, if unsuccessful, proceed with the burpee penalty. Remember, Spartan Races are all about pushing your limits, so the choice is ultimately yours. Keep in mind that teamwork is encouraged, and fellow participants are often there to offer support and guidance.
