The residential electricity rates offered by Seattle City Light depend on the amount of electricity consumed. For the first 350 kilowatt-hours (kWh) used in a month, the rate is 10.597 cents per kWh. Once the usage surpasses 350 kWh, the subsequent 500 kWh are charged at a rate of 11.596 cents per kWh. Usage above 850 kWh is billed at 13.956 cents per kWh.
