What types of health insurance plans are offered by the program?

The New York State Health Insurance Program offers a variety of health insurance plans to meet the diverse needs of individuals and families. These plans include the Empire Plan, which provides comprehensive coverage for active and retired state and local government employees; the Graduate Student Employee Health Plan, designed specifically for graduate student employees at participating colleges and universities; and the Student Employee Health Plan, covering student employees at eligible colleges and universities.
