What are the fees for obtaining a driver's license?

Asked a year ago
The fees for obtaining a driver's license in Mississippi vary depending on the type and duration of the license. For a Class R regular driver's license, the fee is $24 for a 4-year license and $47 for an 8-year license. If you are aged 16 to 17, an additional $1 per year is charged, and for those aged 66 and older, an added $12 fee applies. Other types of licenses, such as motorcycle or commercial driver's licenses, have separate fees. To obtain an exact fee, it is recommended to consult the Mississippi Motor Vehicle Division's official website or contact the DMV/RMV directly.
