What are the requirements for getting a motorcycle license?

Asked a year ago
In order to obtain a motorcycle license in the state of Maine, there are several requirements that need to be met. Firstly, an individual must be at least 16 years old and hold a valid Maine driver's license. Secondly, they must successfully complete a Maine-approved motorcycle safety course, which includes both classroom instruction and on-road training. Alternatively, individuals can opt to pass a written test and a road skills test administered by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. It is also important to provide proof of identification, residency, and social security number. Additionally, applicants under the age of 18 must have parental consent. Upon meeting all these criteria, individuals can pay the required fees and submit their application to receive a motorcycle license from the Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
