How much does a single trip fare cost?

Asked a year ago
The cost of a single trip fare on Los Angeles Metro Public Transportation (MTA) varies depending on various factors. For regular bus and subway services, the fare is $1.75, which includes two hours of free transfers. However, for express buses and silver line services, the fare is $2.50. Riders can also purchase a Day Pass for $7 which allows unlimited rides all day. Alternatively, a 7-Day Pass is available for $25 and provides unlimited rides for seven consecutive days. MTA also offers discounted fares for seniors, students with a valid ID, and people with disabilities. Additionally, children under a certain height ride for free when accompanied by a paying adult. Please note, fare prices are subject to change, and always make sure to have the exact fare or load a TAP card before boarding.
