If you're planning to get a refund from LivingSocial, use the cancellation form in the screenshot. Note that you will need the order number to process the refund.
All LivingSocial customers have 14 days to return the voucher and get a 100% refund. LivingSocial will also use your original payment method when refunding the amount you paid for the voucher. You can receive a cash refund if you paid in cash or a 100% deal credit or Wowcher Wallet Credit if you used the latter to purchase the voucher.
Where do you find the order number? You need to sign in to your account first.
To sign in, enter your email address and password, and click Sign In. If you've forgotten your password, click Forgot Your Password to reset it. Then, sign back in to your account.
Once signed in, go to the My Vouchers tab to see your vouchers and the order number. Make sure you view the Available vouchers as these are the unredeemed or unused ones. Simply click on See Details to view the voucher details including the order number.
Once you have the order number, you can contact LivingSocial to start the refund process. Use the QR code to reach out to them via WhatsApp. Then copy and paste your message (use the model cancellation form) and send it. Wait for a LivingSocial staff member to get back to you regarding the refund.
You can no longer get a refund if the voucher has already expired. Also, if you're not happy with the deal, all complaints should be addressed to the merchant, not to LivingSocial. You may be able to get a refund, but it will be through the merchant. Make sure to inform the merchant within 14 days. However, keep in mind that some products can't be cancelled. These products include customized items, products sealed for hygiene or health protection, seasonal products, event tickets, or items with a limited lifespan. If you're not sure whether you can get a refund, contact the merchant directly to find out if you can cancel the item.
Were you able to process your refund? The money is usually refunded within 5 working days. Customers who paid with a deal credit or Wowcher wallet credit can expect the refund to be issued instantly.
