How often should I exercise to stay healthy?

Asked a year ago
To maintain good health, it is recommended to engage in regular exercise. The frequency of exercise largely depends on individual goals, fitness level, and time availability. For general health and well-being, the American Heart Association suggests aiming for at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity each week. This can be distributed over several days, such as 30 minutes of exercise five times per week. Incorporating strength training exercises at least two days a week is also advised. It's important to listen to your body's needs and gradually increase the duration and intensity of your workouts. Regular exercise, personalized to your capabilities, can improve cardiovascular health, strengthen muscles and bones, enhance mental well-being, and help manage weight effectively.
