Amazon buyers use an email address or a mobile number and a password to sign in to their accounts. Only those who sell on Amazon or use Amazon Web Services have account numbers. For AWS, you will need the account number to contact Amazon Customer Support.
How to find AWS account number:
1. Log in to your Amazon Web Services account.
2. Select Support in the top navigation bar, then click Support Center. The account number is just below the top navigation bar.
For Amazon Prime, the account number is the 10-digit number printed on the invoice or the package shipped via Amazon Prime. This number is used to track shipments and the status of delivery. The only way to find your Amazon Prime account number is to check the package or the invoice.
If you're planning to use AWS, below are the steps for signing up:
1. Go to the AWS website and click Sign Up.
2. You can either use Amazon account email or create a new account by selecting "I am a new user." Type in your email address.
3. Enter the login credentials, including your password.
4. Amazon will ask for your personal information, including your zip code and phone. Check the AWS Customer Agreement and click Create Account and Continue.
5. The next step is the Payments Page. You may or may not enter your credit card information.
6. You will receive a welcome email from Amazon indicating that you have free access to AWS services for a year within the Free Tier limits.
Wait for up to 24 hours as some services take time to fully activate. If you still have concerns, please contact Amazon Customer Support.
GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
After helping consumers for 10 years, we realized that you need an impartial, live person you can talk to about comparing the various TV, cable, Internet and phone plans in your area- somebody who can compare the best deals across telecom providers.
