What should I do if I smell gas?

Asked 6 months ago
If you smell gas, it is important to leave the area immediately and avoid creating any sources of ignition, such as lighting a match or using any electrical appliances. Do not try to locate the source of the leak or attempt to turn off any gas valves. Once you are a safe distance away, call the emergency number provided for gas leaks and report the odor to your gas provider. It is also recommended to inform your neighbors and anyone else in the vicinity to evacuate the area as a precaution.
