How Do I Change My Mobile Number on My Axis Bank Account?

Axis Bank is an Indian private sector bank. It was established in 1993 and specializes in selling financial services to large and mid-sized companies, SMEs, and retail businesses. While the headquarters are in Mumbai, it also has locations in Shanghai, London, and Dhaka. If you have an account with Axis Bank and need to change your mobile number on the account, follow the step-by-step instructions found below.

Changing Your Axis Bank Account Mobile Number Online

  1. Go to the Axis Bank login page.
  2. Enter your login ID and password.
  3. Once you're logged in, click on your name in the top menu bar. A drop-down menu will appear. Select ‘Personal Details.'
  4. Next, select ‘Update Personal Details.'
  5. Select the ‘Contact Number' option.
  6. Enter your new mobile number and select ‘Update.'
  7. You will be sent a one-time password to your mobile number.
  8. Enter the one-time password onto the screen to verify the new mobile number
  9. Select ‘Update Mobile Number' and you've successfully changed the number.

Changing Your Axis Bank Account Mobile Number at an ATM

  1. Go to an Axis Bank ATM
  2. Insert your Axis Bank card and enter your pin.
  3. From the list of options presented on the screen, select ‘Registration Option.'
  4. Select the ‘Change Mobile Number' option.
  5. A message will show on the screen that states what mobile number the account is currently registered to and will ask if you want to update it. Select ‘Update.'
  6. Enter the new mobile number and select ‘Confirm.'
  7. Next, you will have to enter the new mobile number one more time and select ‘Confirm' again.
  8. Your mobile number is now changed and should be updated within one business day.
