We purchased a Proctor Silex Toaster that was advertised as "Made in USA" to gift to our parents, who specifically prefer American-made products. The total cost was $64.99, which included $18.95 for shipping. Upon receiving the item, we noticed that the box stated "Assembles in Mexico" instead of "Made in USA" as advertised. The seller mentioned they do not accept returns, but they misrepresented the product by claiming it was American-made. Our intention was to give a gift that was truly Made in the USA, not assembled in Mexico. We are seeking a full refund, including shipping expenses both ways, due to the seller's incorrect listing of the item. We are relying on eBay's assistance to ensure we receive a complete refund from the seller for the misleading claims made about the product.

I have encountered an issue with eBay where an auto-approved return was processed prematurely, causing a problem while negotiating a partial refund with the customer. Despite our ongoing communication, eBay unilaterally approved the return before the 3-day policy, complicating matters. When seeking assistance, I faced resistance from customer service and supervisors who claimed policy changes, contrary to the website's guidelines. They advised me to cover the partial refund personally with no guarantee of reimbursement. This situation, meant to be straightforward, has become needlessly complex due to eBay's handling. I am hesitant to use my funds without assurance of eventual reimbursement. eBay's system faults and lack of support have made resolving this issue challenging.

Hello, I would like to discuss an issue I encountered recently. I purchased an item and attempted to pay for it on eBay, but my payment was blocked and refunded by PayPal after four days. I contacted the seller and provided screenshots demonstrating the payment issue. Despite this, the seller asked me to resend the payment via PayPal. As I am unfamiliar with PayPal, I declined for safety reasons. The seller accused me of being a fake buyer. I requested the seller to review my account, highlighting my positive feedback and history of successful transactions. After investigating, the seller discovered that PayPal blocked the funds due to an incorrect email associated with their account, not because of any actions on my part. However, I am now facing the threat of a negative mark on my eBay account, although I believe I have done nothing wrong. I am unsure how to proceed and would appreciate advice on how to resolve this situation with eBay. I value my record as a prompt payer and reliable buyer and wish to avoid any unwarranted penalties. Thank you.

Good evening, I purchased a Double Sided Magnetic Window Cleaner Glass Wiper Cleaning Washing Brush Tool OP9 in August. Unfortunately, there was a delay in shipping, and after contacting the seller multiple times, they initially promised to send another item due to the shipping company's fault. However, in a recent email, they mentioned issuing a refund, which I clearly stated I do not want as the card used for payment has expired. I am disappointed by this development and want a resolution that involves receiving the item I paid for, not a refund.

I recently purchased a guitar on eBay while in Portugal, and the advertised price was [redacted] euros, inclusive of shipping. However, upon payment, I was charged [redacted] euros instead. Despite reaching out to their support team multiple times, they attributed the difference to conversion rates through PayPal. I selected to pay in euros, as indicated in the system, but they acknowledge the overcharge without offering a solution, aside from suggesting I contact PayPal. Since I do not have a PayPal account and the transaction was made as a public offer, I feel stuck. Unfortunately, the support team has stopped responding to my messages, leaving me unsure how to proceed. Thank you.

I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction regarding the profiteering happening with the Iceland Rang Tan charity toy, which is currently in high demand. I have been tirelessly searching for one myself. There are reports of individuals selling up to 7 toys at exorbitant prices. My main concern is that these toys are meant for charity, specifically to support the orangutans' habitat due to the harmful effects of the palm oil industry. It is unacceptable to allow these individuals to exploit the situation in this manner. I urge you to take action against anyone engaging in such blatant profiteering. Genuine customers like myself just want the opportunity to purchase these toys from Iceland directly. I am extremely frustrated and hope that you will address this issue promptly. Sincerely, Donna

I realize I neglected to provide important details in my previous message. I am Anna Geraghty, known as ajg580. I would like to give feedback for the seller rojalesangela ([redacted]) regarding item number [redacted]24. I started leaving feedback but wanted to find the right words to convey how exceptional the seller has been. When I revisited later, the feedback draft was still open from yesterday. This morning, I couldn't locate the feedback icon and sadly discovered that my initial draft was submitted, which didn't fully express my satisfaction with the seller. It was due to my oversight in closing without finalizing the feedback. Could you please delete my previous attempt so I can provide a more accurate and positive feedback? Thank you, Anna Geraghty P.S. Best eBay seller I've encountered.

I purchased a product on eBay on November 5, [redacted], which was advertised to come with a 3-year warranty from the seller. Unfortunately, in October [redacted], less than a year later, the product malfunctioned. I contacted the seller via eBay twice but did not receive any response. I then contacted eBay and a representative promised to investigate, giving the seller three more days to reply. Despite no response after 10 days from eBay and over a month from the seller, no progress has been made. The seller continues to operate and sell items without honoring the advertised warranty. This situation constitutes deceptive business practices defined by Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Given eBay's involvement in the sale and commission collection, both eBay and the seller share responsibility. Urgent attention from eBay is necessary to address this issue from a legal perspective.

I purchased a Land Rover Freelander 1[redacted] Model rear light with item number [redacted]51. The seller, sag-[redacted], advertised it falsely, indicating that it fits a [redacted] Model year vehicle, which mine is. However, upon receiving it, the item does not fit. The seller did not mention any compatibility issues for certain [redacted] Model year vehicles in the listing. This misleading description has left me with a product that is not suitable for my car. I believe the seller should refund my money, especially since he falsely advertised the product without clarifying the compatibility concerns. He has refused to process the return or provide a refund, despite his error in the listing. I am hoping for a prompt resolution and a refund under the money-back guarantee. It is disappointing to see sellers like this misleading buyers and not taking responsibility for their mistakes. I am looking forward to a quick resolution and the return of my money. Regards, N.S.

Hello, I'm Nicholas Overfield and I've been dealing with an issue. I listed an item on eBay, but the buyer who offered to purchase it never sent payment. After multiple attempts to contact them and opening a claim to avoid fees, I had to remove the item from eBay and sell it elsewhere. However, I was still charged a fee for not completing the sale. I kindly request to speak with someone to either receive a credit for the charged amount or have the fee waived. I have more items to sell on eBay, but I'm hesitant to do so until this matter is resolved. Thank you for your prompt attention. Please reach out to me at your earliest convenience.

I have been struggling for the last 3 hours to set up an account on your website. After attempting to create it, each time I try to sign in, it shows an error saying it's not a match. I realized I initially mistyped my email address, but your system doesn't provide any indication of what the issue might be. I know it's either this or that, but since it's already saved, I can't have mistyped my own email. After figuring that out, I attempted multiple times in every possible way to create the account, but it just won't work. Even my wife is surprised that I managed to explain everything without using any profanity, despite the many explicit words I wanted to use. How can I successfully set it up?

I recently had a balance of $6.10 in seller fees on eBay. However, due to issues with my bank and my debit card being cancelled, I was unable to pay immediately. When I tried to settle the $6.10 balance through PayPal, I was surprised to see that I was being asked to pay $26.65 instead. This sudden increase doesn't make sense to me, as the initial amount was much lower. I am frustrated that I am being asked to pay more than what I originally owed, especially considering the circumstances were out of my control. I believe there may have been an error in calculating the fees, as my sales do not seem to justify such a high amount. I am requesting a refund for the overcharged amount as soon as possible.

I would like to file a complaint regarding a recent purchase on eBay. The seller, sirbionu_66, sold me a Burberry scarf (item [redacted]20) which turned out to be a counterfeit product. Upon contacting the seller for a refund, I received disrespectful and offensive messages, including being called derogatory names. The seller's behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable. I believe eBay should investigate the conversation between us and take appropriate action, such as suspending the seller's account. It is important to prevent individuals from engaging in such behavior and selling fake items as authentic on the platform. I have initiated a refund through eBay and returned the item today, but I am skeptical about receiving the refund from the seller. Thank you, Stevie

Subject: Concerns Regarding Recent eBay Transaction - Username: stuperman81 Dear eBay Customer Support, I am reaching out to address an issue with a recent transaction on eBay, related to my account under the email [redacted] with the username stuperman81. I am dissatisfied with the handling of the return process for Item #[redacted]48, an Apple iPhone 7 I sold. After the buyer claimed the item was not as described based on vague reasons like 'weak Wi-Fi', eBay proceeded with a return and refunded the buyer without providing substantial evidence. Following the return, I have encountered further complications as the phone was allegedly delivered to an outdated address linked to my account, despite my current address being accurate on eBay. The mismatch in addresses has resulted in me being debited £[redacted].50 from my PayPal account for an item I have not received. I have been a loyal eBay user for many years and this incident has left me uneasy about future transactions. I urge eBay to rectify this error promptly and provide a resolution to regain my trust in the platform. Sincerely, S.D.

Hello, I recently received an email from you stating that my eBay account has been suspended for security reasons. I want to assure you that my account has not caused any harm to your platform or any customers. In Vietnam, we have many good handmade products made from eco-friendly materials like bamboo and grass. I take pride in supporting local farmers and caring for the environment. I run a small offline shop and my goal is to introduce quality and beneficial products to a wider audience. I kindly request your assistance in reinstating my account or guiding me on any mistakes I may have made during the selling process. Your support is greatly appreciated, and I eagerly await positive news from your end. Thank you. Warm regards, Meggie [redacted]

I recently ordered an inflatable turkey costume from qqlinkys2009 last Tuesday. I needed it to arrive by Saturday, December 1st. However, I never received an email confirming the shipment. When I contacted the seller, I was informed that the package was returned by the post office due to a damaged shipping label and a broken item. The seller offered to arrange a new shipment within 1-2 business days, with delivery typically taking 4-9 days. I need the item to be express shipped and delivered before Saturday. I am frustrated with the delay and need a quick resolution. Thank you.

I received an order from a seller whose name I don't know. The package arrived today in a very damaged box, including the collectors' box holding the NFL mini helmet collection I ordered. The seller has a no-return policy, which is concerning. I did not even receive an invoice with the shipment. Now I'm left with damaged boxes and an incomplete product. I'm unhappy and seeking assistance on returning the item through eBay. This experience contrasts with Amazon's customer-friendly return and refund policies. I mistakenly thought I was ordering from Amazon, only realizing my error after completing the transaction. I had intended to gift this 32-piece NFL mini helmet collection in a display case to my football-loving son for Christmas. Unfortunately, the item does not meet expectations. I appreciate any support eBay can provide in resolving this issue.

I purchased item number [redacted]87, a 6000w pure sine wave power converter, but it's 12v instead of the 24v I need. When I try to initiate a return on eBay, it shows I have no purchases. I've contacted eBay, but the return process is not working; the return ID number [redacted] also has a technical issue. The seller, Choice Me, is unresponsive. I've been attempting to resolve this for weeks and would like to either exchange it for a 24v converter or get a refund. I just need guidance on how to send it back.

I am currently selling a game on eBay with the option to deliver physical copies or send codes instantly for quick access. After a buyer requested a code and I promptly provided it, I later received notification that this transaction for football manager [redacted] (item number [redacted]33) was canceled due to unauthorized purchase. Although I had sent the code and the payment was confirmed, the money has now been refunded, leaving me without the product. I am uncertain about how to proceed with other transactions since sending out codes or products may lead to similar issues, leaving me at a loss.

I recently made a purchase on eBay for a Settlers of Catan board game (item number [redacted]21) that arrived damaged. After contacting the seller (username: hotore), they agreed to send a replacement and advised me to close the return case. However, now I am unable to dispute the transaction due to the closed return and the missing item in my purchase history on eBay. The PayPal transaction ID is 10N03378LH366694B on October 31st, clearly showing the payment. I am hoping the seller can either send the replacement or provide a refund since I am unable to contact them directly via email. Thank you for your assistance. - Regards, Mark (moo1505)
