I believe Yelp is unfairly selecting whose comments get recognized. I take the time to write thoughtful reviews, especially when a business exceeds expectations. Being a Realtor, I understand the importance of recommending great places to newcomers in Wellesley, Ma, where I reside, and also in Texas during colder seasons. Despite owning a condo in Florida, I haven't had the opportunity to review there yet. I am disappointed to find myself listed as "Not Considered" and am eager to know the reason behind this decision. Additionally, I am frustrated by the difficulty in reaching Yelp for clarification, as the phone number seems to lead nowhere, which is quite discourteous.

I have encountered a concerning issue with a business we patronize, "A Dog's Entertainment." This establishment, run by a dedicated individual, provides excellent doggie day care services and played a significant role in aiding the socialization of our rescue dog. It is disheartening to see their positive reviews being suppressed, and I am seeking assistance in addressing this situation. I am considering reaching out to our sales representative, who has ties to Yelp through our medical clinic, but believe this platform might be more suitable for resolution. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards, Emily.

My business received positive reviews, with 5-star and 4-star ratings. However, all the 5-star reviews are currently not recommended on Yelp. This situation is frustrating as obtaining Yelp reviews is challenging, and we asked our clients to leave feedback, but none of them are being shown. This has significantly lowered our business rating from 4-stars to 1-star. I'm seeking a resolution to this issue so that the accurate ratings are displayed, as originally there were 4-star reviews and only one 1-star review, but now it shows all as 1-star. Please address this matter promptly.

Hello, I am having issues with the La Cucina Italian Eatery business page in Reno, NV. It seems someone has claimed the page already, and we are unsure of the email address used for the claim. Despite trying all known business-related emails, none seem linked to a Yelp account. Yelp has declined to provide any information on who claimed the page. A confirmation email was sent to the associated email, but we are still in the dark about the page's current ownership. Please advise on how to proceed. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, Charlotte

Recently, a customer reached out for a complimentary carpet cleaning service in February, mentioning being away due to a medical treatment. However, she contacted us on March 24th at 5 pm, requesting the free cleaning. Regrettably, we had allocated the free cleaning to another family nominated in February. Subsequently, the customer retaliated by leaving negative feedback on Google and Yelp, followed by her neighbors. These reviews appeared shortly after our conversation, with the customer expressing an intent to harm our business. A police report has been filed, and I can provide the case number upon request. Despite our request for no further contact, she persists in calling and requesting a repeat carpet cleaning service. The situation is troubling, and I seek guidance on how to proceed.

I recently observed on my Yelp page that it shows I take over a week to respond to quote requests. This was a result of a test message I sent to myself from my personal Yelp page to my business page, which I intentionally didn't respond to since it was just a trial. In reality, I promptly respond to all other requests. The inaccurate response time now portrays my business poorly compared to others with quicker response times. I am seeking advice on how to rectify this issue with Yelp, though I am aware of the challenges that may come with that. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello, I am from Catnip Cathouse located in Santa Cruz, CA. We recently received a negative review and responded accordingly. However, the reviewer continues to post daily with personal attacks unrelated to their visit two weeks ago. The focus has shifted to attacking the owner, Jeremy MacDonald, breaching Yelp's guidelines. This continuous behavior is concerning as the reviewer lives locally and seems fixated. The reviews are no longer constructive feedback but targeted harassment towards an individual. We request Yelp's intervention as we plan to sell the business this year and aim to enhance our presence on the platform for promotional purposes. Thank you.

Subject: Issue with Confirming Email from Yelp I recently received multiple emails from Yelp requesting me to confirm my email to get started, but I couldn't find any clickable link in the email to complete this process. This is my second account as I had forgotten my password for the first account and the instructions I received seemed to indicate setting up a new account instead of resetting the password. I want to clarify that I have not been banned or faced any disciplinary action by Yelp, as I had submitted two reviews before on my first account. Due to the ongoing issues and lack of support, I am now requesting Yelp to close my account. I cannot be held responsible in case Yelp fails to comply with this request. The level of customer support I have experienced during this process has been disappointing.

A reviewer recently shared a negative experience about Bishop Animal Shelter in Bradenton, FL. The reviewer adopted a cat but returned it due to various behavioral issues. The reviewer's feedback has sparked a discussion about the challenges rescue animals face and the importance of patience and love when adopting them. It's crucial to consider the history and needs of shelter animals before bringing them home. It's unfortunate that the reviewer's experience led to a negative portrayal of rescue adoptions. Rescue animals can indeed make wonderful pets and loyal companions when shown care and understanding. A balanced perspective on reviews and the ability to provide feedback could help improve communication and understanding in such situations.

I recently posted a negative review of a restaurant called Jakes in Palm Springs, California. The owner's reaction to my review has been aggressive and hurtful. He insulted me by calling me names like "Stormy Daniels" and even disclosed the full name of a business associate who made the reservation. He attacked my other Yelp reviews, mocked my daughter, and criticized my spelling and grammar. This behavior is unacceptable. I posted the review about my experience with the owner and my reservation, not to be personally attacked. Despite informing the owner that my review is for all customers, he continues to bully me. I feel threatened by his actions. I urge Yelp to review his responses to my posts and reach out to me and Christopher, the owner, to address this issue promptly.

I am a co-owner of Top Notch Management Services in Maitland, FL. I have noticed that out of 7 reviews, only 1 has been published on Yelp, and it was a 1-star review. The other 6 reviews are marked as "unrecommended." We value feedback, both positive and negative, and find it frustrating that legitimate reviews from our clients are not being showcased. One of our previous 3-star reviews has also been moved to "unrecommended," which is perplexing to us. We take pride in our business and believe all customer feedback should be considered. Please contact us at [redacted] or [redacted] to help us address this issue promptly.

I noticed a review by Tracy S. on Galloway’s Cocktail Bar Yelp page. This specific one-star "review" appears to promote another business located nearby. Nearly half of the review is dedicated to praising Swim Club with detailed descriptions of an experience that clearly did not happen at Galloway’s Cocktail Bar. It's worth noting that the review is from an empty profile, which goes against the User Profile Guidelines on Yelp. Additionally, the review seems to exaggerate and misrepresent the experience, which contradicts Yelp’s Accuracy guidelines. I have personally witnessed customers having their drinks fixed or remade at Galloway’s, often free of charge, with the staff displaying a friendly attitude to ensure customer satisfaction. This review appears to be more of an attempt to damage the reputation of Galloway's Cocktail Bar while promoting a rival local business. I appreciate your attention to this matter. Best regards, Candice

Dear Yelp Customer Service Team, I recently left a review for Cosmetic Laser Beverly Hills detailing a negative experience. Yelp's platform allowed me to share my honest feedback with the public. My review initially gained traction, but was recently moved to the "not recommended" section after the facility reached out to offer compensation for the issues I faced. This relocation resulted in the withdrawal of their offer. I urge Yelp to reconsider featuring my review prominently, as it can hold businesses accountable for their actions and ensure customer satisfaction. I believe in Yelp's positive impact on customer service and hope for a resolution. Thank you, Anyutka D'V.

1. I've set up an event on Yelp, but when searching for it, it doesn't appear in the results. Is there an approval process for events? Could you explain the steps and timeframe for this process? Thank you. 2. I've tried editing an event following the instructions provided but each time I click on edit event, it just redirects me to the homepage. Is there a problem with the page that prevents me from editing the event? Any solutions for this issue would be appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.

When implementing badges, it would be beneficial to include explanations on the badges page clarifying how to earn them. As a frequent user with minimal badges, I found the rollout lacking proper documentation. It would enhance user experience to have direct contact for feedback and improvement with customer service emails. Currently, the help center seems limited with repetitive issues and lacks room for growth. In my experience with Yelp ordering, orders have been lost, not prioritized, and not ready on time. With these challenges and some features being unusable, I am hesitant to explore new options. Without prioritizing audience satisfaction and keeping pace with advancements, there is a risk of being replaced when newer platforms emerge. This feedback is intended to highlight areas for enhancement and potential loss of users if improvements are not made promptly.

To whom it may concern, I have recently written a review for Peerless Jujitsu in Corona, CA, where I have been a student for a year and a half. I am very satisfied with the instructor and the school, so I decided to share my thoughts in a review. However, I cannot find it on Yelp, and it seems to be hidden in the archives. This has happened before, as my other reviews are visible to the public. I am puzzled as to why this particular review is not showing up. I would appreciate it if someone from your company could address this issue and provide an explanation. Regards, Waj B

Regarding the review about a Husband, we want to clarify that our firm represented the abused Wife who was in a difficult situation with a controlling Husband. Despite the Court's decision regarding the level of abuse, the Husband was made aware that his behavior was unacceptable, leading to a positive outcome where most of the client/Wife's money was returned. The Husband's review was misleading as it failed to mention these important details. We kindly request the removal of this review.

I have been trying to address a situation with Yelp through their reporting feature, but I keep receiving automated responses. There is a review written by a former employee who was terminated, and Yelp insists there is no conflict of interest. Meanwhile, they are not publishing reviews from actual customers. I am having trouble leaving comments as I set up my profile with a logo instead of a personal picture, and I am uncomfortable sharing a photo of my healing facial burns. Speaking with a real person could possibly help me resolve these issues. Thank you.

I wanted to share my recent experience with being unexpectedly charged $[redacted] for advertising on Yelp.com for the month of June. I had initially only tested a campaign from May 24th to May 31st and did not authorize any further charges or campaigns beyond that trial period. I have no intention of running ads with Yelp now or in the future. I have requested a refund for the unauthorized $[redacted] charge and asked for my credit card details to be removed from their platform immediately. Unfortunately, I have not received a response from Yelp regarding this matter.

I operate a reputable roofing business in Texas and make it my priority to deliver exceptional customer service. I am frustrated that Yelp continually moves my genuine reviews to the back page while promoting personnelconcepts.com with prominently placed first reviews. This double standard is disappointing, and it tarnishes Yelp's credibility with businesses like mine. Considering the unfair treatment, it is no wonder that many of us in the industry are hesitant to engage with Yelp. The apparent bias in the review algorithms and the impact on businesses like mine are unacceptable. I plan to escalate this matter to the Attorney General's office in Texas to investigate Yelp's practices for potential violations of false advertising regulations. Perhaps a collective legal action could compel Yelp to address these discrepancies.
