I'm curious why the option to send location has been removed. It was very helpful for me, especially to locate my wife when her car broke down. I used to rely on seeing my phone contacts on the app to assist in case of emergencies. My wife doesn't use Facebook, so the removal of this feature has been inconvenient for us. I'm not comfortable linking my Facebook account to access my contacts as I value my privacy. If I can't link my contacts by phone number, I may have to consider deleting my Waze account as it may no longer serve its purpose for me. It's disappointing as I might resort to using a different GPS app instead.

I work for a tiny ad agency that recently parted ways with a client. Despite this, our business card is still on Waze, and the client, who doesn't want to work with Waze now, won't replace it with their own card. They've requested the Waze account login details, but I'm hesitant to share this until the situation is sorted out. I'm concerned about accidental charges if they choose to use Waze. Could someone assist me in removing my card from the Waze business listing? Thanks.

I have accumulated thousands of miles and achieved the ninja crown status through this app. Recently, the app froze and wouldn't close. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but upon logging in with my usual user ID (cervezataco) and password, the app did not recognize me. I am reluctant to create a new user ID. I reached out to customer support via email over a week ago, but I have not received any assistance. Unfortunately, there is no phone number available for direct contact with a representative. I kindly request a prompt response to help me resolve this issue. You can contact me at [redacted] or [redacted]. I am eagerly awaiting your reply or call. Thank you, Miroslava Bozicevic.

Hello support, I'm experiencing an issue with the Waze app on my other phone, an Android ZTE. The phone is currently off, but I am using my main phone's hotspot to provide internet to the ZTE. While using Waze on the ZTE, I noticed that instead of the usual blue triangle indicating my direction, there is now only a blue dot. When attempting to view upcoming reports, if I click on the yellow icon to check or report a speed camera, I receive an error message stating, "Sorry, there's no GPS reception in this location. Make sure you are outdoors." This is happening on my ZTE phone which has no data plan, just wifi. I have been using Waze for months without issue until now. I have reset the phone, reinstalled the app, and it temporarily fixed the problem, but it has resurfaced. Strangely, Waze works perfectly on my other phone for calls and GPS. I suspect there might be an issue with the ZTE phone specifically. This situation is frustrating as I have tried adjusting the location settings with no success. I have a Gmail account but am reaching out from my Yahoo email.

I reside in Jerusalem, Israel on Michaelson Street. The official street name is "Y.Z. Michaelson," incorporating the first initials of the person it is named after. Unfortunately, users of the Waze app encounter difficulty finding our street as they are unaware that entering the initials is necessary. I kindly request that you consider removing the first initials from the street name on the app. By doing so, when a Waze user searches for "Michaelson" in English or Hebrew, the address will come up correctly. This issue is not unique to my street as many streets in Israel are named after individuals whose initials are unknown to users. Keeping initials may be necessary only if there are multiple streets in the same area with the same surname but different initials.

Waze owes me $2.00 for guiding me onto a toll road despite having the "avoid toll roads" option selected. On October 20th, [redacted] at 6:55 PM, I was directed to SR133 Irvine East, Lane 1, where I incurred a $2.00 toll charge. Although it's a small amount, it is frustrating to have to go through the process of logging in to the TollRoads site to pay the bill. This issue is disappointing because I specifically avoid toll roads. Recently, Waze has been malfunctioning by directing me to congested freeways and suggesting U-turns instead of providing accurate directions.

I have submitted an ad on Biz.Waze.com over a week ago, and it is still under review. The message says my account is in review, and I will be notified once approved, typically within 48 hours. However, it has been more than seven days now without any updates. I require my two locations to appear on the map promptly as I am a paying customer. The lack of communication and delay in approval is disappointing and unprofessional. Please contact me at [redacted]. Sincerely, Yuriy Boltyan CEO at Intrepid Lifestyle Solutions

Dear Waze, I am encountering an issue with my iPhone 6 while using the Waze app. The app displays a red message stating, "No GPS. Showing approximate location," even though my GPS functions correctly on apps like Google Maps. I have attempted various solutions: deleting and reinstalling the app, toggling Location Services, ensuring Waze is set to "Always" for location access, removing the phone case, using both WiFi and Cellular data, and seeking advice from online forums and Apple Customer Support without success. Although Waze accurately determines my location on the map and outlines routes, the GPS error arises when I attempt to navigate. I appreciate any assistance you can provide in resolving this issue. Thank you,

Please refrain from directing freeway traffic onto Walnut Blvd and Homestead Ave in Walnut Creek. This results in congestion on Ygnacio Ave and causes a backup of nearly 8 blocks. Residents are unable to exit their driveways due to the traffic, and the idling cars are producing fumes that we are forced to inhale. The turn restrictions from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM on weekdays have been in place since [redacted], and directing drivers to these streets is causing significant disruptions.

Hello, I am currently experiencing several issues with Waze, likely due to my location in Puerto Rico. When I use the app in the United States, it functions perfectly. However, here, I have lost contact with the original English voice prompts. Instead, it has switched to a Spanish voice, and the volume is significantly lower than expected despite showing that it is almost at maximum volume. I have attempted to switch back to an English voice from the United States, but the change does not occur. It seems like there may be a hidden trick to restoring the original voice, which is frustrating. The volume problem persists, even after multiple attempts to adjust it. Thank you.

I seem to have lost my Saved Places on Waze. As I am planning to switch to a new phone, I attempted to create a Waze account since I couldn't recall having one before. After entering my phone number and receiving a 4-digit verification code, I found myself stuck in a "waiting" window after entering the code. I had to eventually uninstall Waze to proceed. Upon reinstalling it, the app automatically logs me in without prompting for any account details and doesn't retain my Saved Places. Despite being able to log out manually, I am instantly logged back in without my data. I am struggling to find a way to input my login details. My account should be linked to my email: [redacted] Currently, I am using Waze on a Samsung S4 with version 4.50.0.2. Can anyone advise on recovering my Saved Places and other Waze information? Thank you.

I encountered a problem with the Waze app on my Samsung Galaxy S8 where it wouldn't connect to the network despite having full bars. After researching on a forum, I decided to uninstall and then reinstall the app to troubleshoot the issue. Before doing so, I made sure to link my email, update my Nickname, change my password, and connect it to my Facebook account to avoid any login problems. However, after completing the process, I found myself unable to log back in. An error message stated that my account was lost in the stratosphere. I am frustrated and disappointed with Waze's handling of my problem, especially their autoresponder email that doesn't address how to recover my account. Thank you.

I have reached out multiple times regarding the routes from Hartfield, VA to Faith Mission Home, suggesting a faster route via Exit [redacted] on I-64 to Barracks Road near Charlottesville, VA, which I have been using for over 20 years. Please consider updating the routes to improve accuracy. Faith Mission Home is located at [redacted] Mission Home Lane, Free Union, VA. Despite my feedback, the provided routes lead to longer travel times compared to the route I propose. I rely on Waze for accurate traffic information as the current routes are inefficient. Kindly take into account the input of those who frequently use these routes for a more effective navigation experience.

I would like the mileage to display in tenths for longer distances. Here are the proposed Mileage Rules: 1. If the distance exceeds 50 miles before your next turn, update the mileage every mile. 2. If the distance is under 50 miles, update the mileage every tenth of a mile. 3. For distances under 0.1 miles, switch the units to feet starting with [redacted] feet and updating every 50 feet. 4. Remove the decimal immediately if the mileage has a decimal ending in 0 (e.g., 13.0 miles will show as 13 miles). Please investigate this matter further. If a decimal update at 50 miles is too extensive, suggest a smaller threshold like 30 miles.

I am seeking assistance in addressing the growing number of oversized trucks and various vehicles in our community. The once-beloved app has transformed our busy neighborhood into a residential headache over the past year. Despite our efforts to sell our lovely home, the excessive traffic and deteriorating roads have made it nearly impossible. With property taxes amounting to $24,[redacted] annually, we fear financial ruin in retirement. Urgently, we ask for traffic diversions to alleviate the situation. Presently, a few streets nearby have "NO THRU TRUCK" signs, but I've learned this may be unlawful. Your prompt aid is greatly appreciated.

When receiving directions from Waze, the app often pronounces "Drive Safe!" which is grammatically incorrect. The proper term should be "Drive Safely." Since "drive" is a verb, it should be accompanied by an adverb, not an adjective. "Safe" is an adjective that typically modifies a noun, not a verb. "Safely" is the correct adverb to modify "drive." It would be appreciated if this error is rectified in a future app update as the current phrasing is jarring.

I am concerned about Waze directing drivers down our small residential street, Loxley Road SW18, in London instead of the adjacent parallel road, Magdalen Road. The constant flow of traffic poses a safety risk to the children and residents in the area. Our street is not designed to handle heavy traffic, with cars parked on both sides, speed bumps, and limited space for vehicles to pass. I kindly request that Waze removes Loxley Road from its database as a recommended route unless the driver's destination is on that road. Safety should be a top priority, and I hope this issue can be addressed promptly. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Over the past 8 weeks, whenever I ‘start’ WAZE, it initially provides the upcoming directions but then goes into standby mode. A. The selected car icon switches to a blue dot. B. It fails to accurately display my vehicle's location. C. The countdown to the next turn is absent. D. Directions, whether vocal or on screen, are not provided. E. To resolve this, I restart my Samsung S10E with Android Auto. While the mapping in your parent company is flawless, I still prefer using WAZE without any issues.

Hello, my name is Parth Sheth, and my Waze username is "ParthShethPeaceful." I've been using Waze for carpooling since July [redacted]. Recently, I noticed a change in my payment. I used to receive $11 for trips from North San Jose/Milpitas to Pleasanton/San Ramon, but now I am only receiving $8 per ride. I'm inquiring about the reason for this decrease. Upon speaking with friends who provide similar rides through Waze carpool, they mention receiving $11 per trip. I would appreciate any clarification on this matter. Thank you, Parth

Yesterday, I visited Birch Knob Observation Tower in Virginia and relied on Waze for directions, my preferred app. Unfortunately, Waze led me an hour away from the actual destination. To make matters worse, it directed me down a dirt road that became impassable, resulting in my jeep getting stuck. After struggling for miles, I now have thousands of scratches on my newly bought jeep, requiring costly repair. I am considering seeking compensation from Waze for the damage caused by following its directions. Thanks, Jacob S.
