I live in an apartment with neighbors both upstairs and downstairs. Previously, we all had our own garbage cans and recycling bins. However, when a new tenant moved into the 2-bedroom unit, they requested a new set, and the delivery resulted in our cans being taken away and replaced with the new ones. The upstairs neighbor received their cans promptly, but I am still waiting for mine. I am located at [redacted] 7 Avenue, Antigo, WI [redacted], under the former landlord, Sharon Wilson. Today around 12:30 pm, I witnessed a Waste Management truck with license plate number CG64787 speeding in the Desert Oasis neighborhood on Tether Trail and 163rd Ave. This reckless driving occurred in an area where children ride their bikes and go to school. I have photographic evidence of the truck, license plate, and driver. I kindly request a prompt response regarding this matter. I reside at [redacted] Cranbrooke Dr., Franklinton, NC [redacted], and our account is listed under Michael and Deborah DaGrosa. Over the past six weeks, our trash was only collected two times on the designated day. Today, on 6/21/18, our trash wasn't picked up as scheduled on 6/19/18. The local office is in Henderson, NC. It's evident that the management style and hiring process at this location need improvement. Excuses of "heat," "mechanical" issues, and "delay" were provided for the missed pickups. With a full trash bin and nowhere to accommodate more waste from Tuesday and Wednesday, this situation is becoming too common in our neighborhood. I had a collection scheduled at Trinity Place mobile home park today. The collector did his job well, but I ended up putting out more items which I didn't intend for him to take. When he backed up to collect them, he yelled at me suggesting I should have had everything out earlier. I am going through a tough time as my deceased brother's mobile home is being sold; he passed away in a car accident shortly after I moved in with him. Due to these circumstances, I was unaware of the collection schedule as my brother had passed before providing me with the information. Usually, I was informed collections occur on Mondays, yet today it happened on a Wednesday. Please advise your drivers to show more understanding towards customers. I was caught off guard by the unexpected visit and I certainly did not appreciate being yelled at.

I live in Deer Run in Woodstock, Georgia. Our usual pickup day is Monday with back door service for garbage and yard waste on our driveway, which has a small hill. Waste Management missed picking up our trash and yard waste yesterday despite setting it out on Sunday night. I contacted WM customer service multiple times but was assured each day that it would be collected by 7:00 pm. However, as of 11:00 pm, it's still untouched. I plan to reach out again on Wednesday. I am frustrated by the delay and demand it be taken care of promptly. I have not faced this issue with our previous waste management company. The garbage collection in my area only occurs once a week. Despite being informed that I can place one piece of furniture weighing no more than 50 pounds by the curb for pickup, this service is consistently not provided. As a result, items are left on the curb without being collected, forcing me to find storage solutions. Despite multiple complaints to the local office, no resolution has been reached. Today, I placed 5-6 broken wood pieces from my bedroom set at the curb, which remain uncollected. I have recently purchased a new bedroom set that I cannot bring in due to lack of storage space. My husband recently signed us up for your Waste and Recycle Company at the $25 a month special. However, our bill was $[redacted] with unexpected extra charges. After a call to Waste Management customer service, it was reduced to $[redacted], still $33 more than expected. Our neighbor, also a new customer, pays $62 for 3 months. We hope to adjust our bill accordingly. We appreciate your service and the large recycle and garbage cans. As seniors on social security, do you offer any discounts for us?

Subject: Urgent Action Required Regarding Waste Management Services Dear Waste Management, I am writing to address the suspension of services outlined in our contract. As per section 3 of the agreement, failure to provide services within five business days of receiving written demand allows for the termination of the contract upon payment of all outstanding fees. While your representatives mentioned a past due balance as the reason for the service suspension, we have actively disputed this amount with them as we believe it to be a billing error on your part. Regrettably, instead of resolving the matter, we have encountered hostility and threats from your representatives. I live at [redacted] Mulberry Street, Elkton, TN, [redacted]. The neighboring electrical hardware business has a dumpster encroaching on my property due to excessive waste blocking its usual location. This obstruction obstructs my view and poses safety concerns. Additionally, the dumpster gets filled quickly with trash from the entire area, causing overflow onto the street and my lawn. Despite the lack of a formal waste disposal system in our small town, the situation could be improved if the business managed its waste better. I have unsuccessfully raised these issues with the company, even encountering hostility from the owner's stepfather, who contributes to the overflow. As a homeowner with a newly acquired property, I seek a prompt resolution to this matter. I plan to address the trash in my yard independently and install surveillance cameras for monitoring. I kindly request your assistance in coordinating with the business to alleviate these problems by clearing the area, relocating the dumpster to their property, and preventing further trash-related issues on my premises. Today, our usual garbage collection day, presented an issue when a different driver arrived. Despite consistent pick-ups by our regular driver, today's replacement claimed the area was too muddy, which has not been a problem before. We rely on timely pick-ups as we have three horses. The driver falsely promised a collection in a couple of days. Contacting customer service yielded a disappointing response, as they scheduled the pick-up for next Wednesday. This delay does not suffice for the amount we pay monthly, over $[redacted], after being loyal clients for a decade. Despite living on a formerly dirt road for nine years, now paved, we never encountered issues until today. I have requested a morning delivery of a dumpster and a callback from management, which has yet to happen. The lack of response and understanding from a company we have trusted for so long is disheartening. If this issue persists, we may consider canceling our service.

I reside at [redacted] Pan Am, Moreno Valley, CA. I am Mr. Greg Coppola. I have observed issues with your trash service that I find troubling. Despite being billed for trash pickup 12 times this year, on at least one occasion, my trash was not emptied. I've noticed issues like lids not shut properly or no labels on the cans multiple times. Yesterday, when I was home, the trash collector passed by without collecting my trash. After confronting him, he claimed there were issues with proximity and lack of labels. This excuse is unacceptable. Several months ago, my trash can was damaged by your equipment, and although I was promised a replacement, it was never delivered. I have evidence of the discrepancies and would like a refund for at least three months. The manager mentioned a distance requirement, but I have photographic proof of neighboring houses not complying. I will escalate this matter if not resolved promptly.

On October 24, [redacted], my trash was not collected as scheduled. I contacted 1-[redacted] to report the issue and requested a collection on the following day. Despite confirming that I had placed my trash out, it was not picked up as promised. Subsequent emails and calls on October 27, 29, and 30 were made to address the ongoing problem. Each time, I spoke with different representatives like Carmen and Sherry, explaining the situation with no resolution. Despite assurances to escalate the matter and having several confirmation numbers such as [redacted] and [redacted], the issue persisted. On October 31, during the next scheduled collection, my trash was eventually collected, but the service still fell short of expectations. As a loyal customer, I expected better treatment and communication. Previous interactions, like resolving a late payment issue, left me disappointed with the company's handling of customer concerns. A more caring and efficient approach is necessary, following the principle of treating others as you wish to be treated.

I recently received a notification that my bill payment was overdue. I usually make payments electronically through Bank of America. Upon checking my account, I noticed that on 12/20, $50 was sent to Waste Management. My family and I were away assisting fire victims during that time, causing a delay in the payment. As a result, our trash has not been collected for the past two weeks. The confirmation number for the Bank of America payment is NM9DT-5TQTX. Today is our scheduled trash pickup day. Today around 1 P.M. while I was away, a Waste Management truck dislodged utility wires from the service pole near my residence. Upon my return at 4 P.M., I noticed the AT&T line hanging by my driveway. I was given Mr. Tyler Hartje's contact information by a family member who explained what had occurred. When I spoke with Mr. Hartje at 4:22 P.M., he mentioned contacting AT&T about the damaged phone line. He mentioned that AT&T estimated to have it repaired by 8:00 P.M. However, upon checking with AT&T at 8:15 P.M., there was no record of the repair request. I reached out to Mr. Hartje at 8:30 P.M. requesting the repair ticket number. Meanwhile, Commonwealth Edison inspected the electric utility connection which seemed intact. At 6:25 P.M., a technician noticed the Comcast internet line was also dislodged. I later contacted Comcast for assistance with that. Mr. Hartje did not address the concerns regarding the other utilities affected by the incident, causing inconvenience and damage to my property. - Mrs. P. Kalivoda

I recently applied for a driving position online and completed the first interview. Aiesha Elliott from the Chicago office contacted me via email, expressing interest in moving forward. Despite numerous attempts to reach her by phone and email, I have not received any response. Today, I received an email stating that the position is not available. This is confusing as I was led to believe there was a high demand for drivers. It's disappointing that Aiesha has not been in touch considering the urgent need for applicants. My friend, who has been driving for your company for over 30 years, is also puzzled by this situation. I would appreciate it if someone could please clarify the situation. Thank you. - Mike Boggs

I am a woman who has been striving to join your company in Pennsylvania. Despite having 20 years of experience with a CDL and waste disposal, I have been rejected after 5 interviews at the Bristol and Primos locations. I am puzzled as to why I'm repeatedly told that more qualified candidates have been chosen, especially when you offer training facilities tailored for gaining necessary experience. With over 45,[redacted] employees across 48 states, it seems there are few female drivers, particularly on the east coast. I understand the competitiveness of your hiring process in Pennsylvania but seek clarity on what I can do to secure a position. I simply request a clear answer on whether I am a fit for Waste Management. I am eager for an opportunity to demonstrate my suitability for residential or commercial roles at your company and to be judged fairly without facing discrimination. I hope this reaches a manager who can provide the guidance I'm seeking, rather than a recruiter.

I signed up and paid for residential service in Covington, LA, on February 14, [redacted]. My service pickup days are Tuesday and Friday. Waste has failed to pick up from my residence for a week. I called on Tuesday, and the representative stated they would come back to pick up as they missed it. They did not return for pickup, so I called again on Wednesday. I spoke with Wanda, who said they needed to find out why they weren't picking up. However, there has been no pickup yet. The company has already received payment for three months of service, but I haven't received the service. I am very unhappy and upset about this situation. My trash is overflowing, which is disgusting and an eyesore in the yard. I hope someone will take my complaint seriously and resolve this matter promptly. I am extremely disappointed with the service.

Since March 1st, [redacted], I haven't had trash service after WM replaced Northern Colorado Disposal. Despite contacting WM multiple times, they keep promising to empty my dumpster the next day. There are constant excuses regarding the transfer of the new company and weather conditions. WM trucks have driven by my house many times in the last three weeks without stopping. I'm frustrated with the broken promises and constant excuses. I request an immediate termination of my service and the prompt removal of the dumpster. If this matter is not resolved soon, I will escalate it to the BBB.

I have been dealing with an ongoing issue of a commercial dumpster overflowing onto my property for years. The dumpster is located on the property line next to my residential home at [redacted] Woodhaven Rd, Philadelphia, PA [redacted], which borders the Regency townhomes at [redacted] Woodhaven Rd. I have reported this situation to Waste Management (WM) and the Department of Licenses and Inspections (L&I) in the past due to its illegality. My attorney will address the violations caused by this placement, as it is against the law to have a commercial dumpster near a single residence. Despite claims of being environmentally conscious, WM needs to relocate the dumpster. I am fed up with having to constantly clean up the trash and waste that finds its way into my yard. I request assistance in having the dumpster moved and in coordinating the cleanup of the accumulated trash in my backyard. Thank you.

Hello Jim, I am following up to inquire if you received my email regarding a TV show I watched a few years back called "Undercover Boss," which featured Waste Management and former President Mr. O’Donnell. I urge you to watch it as it highlights the dedication of Waste Management employees. The show revealed instances like a female driver having to resort to using a makeshift bathroom due to work constraints. I propose leading the Garbage Man Day (GMD) initiative by recognizing employees during the week of June 17th with gestures like thanking them and organizing small celebrations.
