On August 1st, my husband and I visited the Vision Center for an eye checkup. The optometrist recommended my husband to see a specialist due to some concerns, so we ordered new glasses costing around $[redacted]. However, after consulting the specialist shortly after receiving the glasses, it turned out that the glasses were unnecessary. When I tried to return the glasses for a refund without the receipt (which was accidentally thrown away), the Walmart Vision Center refused to help, saying it was too late. I believe they should have waited for the specialist's opinion before selling us the glasses. I'm hoping for a resolution to this error on their part. Thank you.

I am looking for a way to contact someone at the corporate office for assistance. Unfortunately, the staff at my local vision center have not been able to help me with my concerns. It has been challenging dealing with multiple optometrists during my four visits for an eye exam without my prescription being corrected accurately. The rush during each visit led to discrepancies in my prescription, causing discomfort and poor vision in my right eye. The unprofessional behavior of the staff and outdated equipment only added to my frustration. Despite paying over $[redacted] for the exam, my vision issues persist. I am very disappointed with the service received and would appreciate a resolution to my vision problems.

I brought my Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses to the Vision Center in Moline, Illinois for a simple screw replacement. Unfortunately, they suggested using a bolt instead, which resulted in them damaging my sunglasses beyond repair. Despite this, the Vision Center claimed no responsibility for the damage caused. I am seeking advice on how to seek reimbursement from Walmart for the cost of a new pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses. I did not expect my glasses to be ruined in the process of a simple repair. What steps should I take to ensure Walmart addresses this issue appropriately?

While vacationing in New Orleans on August 1, [redacted], my eyeglass frames broke. I visited store #[redacted] to get new frames and inquired about the warranty. The associate immediately claimed they weren't covered without verifying. I ended up paying for the replacement frames. Back at my local store, I was informed that my frames were, in fact, under warranty, but I needed to address the matter with the New Orleans store. Despite multiple attempts to contact the Vision Center manager, Tonita Henry, I was unsuccessful as she was either unavailable or on vacation. I believe I shouldn't have paid $68.00 due to the associate's oversight on August 1st. I seek guidance on how to reclaim the money owed to me.

I have been experiencing ongoing issues with my glasses since the start of the year. I originally got them in October [redacted] and have had to go back numerous times for adjustments. In August, I was told I needed a new prescription, however, upon checking with my eye doctor, they confirmed I did not need one. The store then noted that the glasses needed cleaning and the lenses were peeling due to makeup, which I don't wear. Despite my repeated visits and requests for corrections, they informed me that my warranty had expired without addressing the issues earlier. A similar situation occurred with my sunglasses, prompting me to escalate the matter to corporate, resulting in new frames. The service at Walmart Vision Center number [redacted] in Del Ray Beach on Military Trail has been unsatisfactory. The staff member handling my case has been dismissive and impolite, adding to my frustrations. I seek assistance as my glasses impact my daily activities, causing constant discomfort. I feel taken advantage of and am reaching out for help with this ongoing problem. Thank you, Patricia L.

My experience with Walmart Vision was disappointing. Previously a loyal EyeMart customer, I decided to give Walmart a try for new lenses in my frames. However, after wearing the glasses, I noticed blurry vision for the first time. When I returned to the store and explained the issue, the staff seemed unable to assist me effectively. Paying $[redacted] for lenses without optical insurance and facing blurry vision on the road has been frustrating. The minimal $20 savings compared to EyeMart was not worth the hassle. My location was the Seaboard St, Myrtle Beach, SC Walmart, but this experience has led me to decide against using Walmart Vision in the future.

I am Randy S. I purchased a pair of glasses a month ago, but I have not received them despite contacting the Walmart Vision Center multiple times and receiving different explanations each time. They mentioned they would call me back, but they never did. Frustrated, I had to request a refund on my card as they were giving me the runaround. I spent a significant amount of money for eye exams and glasses, and this delay is causing inconvenience as it is affecting my ability to see correctly and get my driver's license. I would appreciate a call at ***-***-**** to resolve this issue. The store is located at **** Mountaineer Blvd, South Charleston, WV ****.

I don't have a current prescription for contacts, and the store where I usually purchase them won't sell me any without one. They advised me to go to a different store instead of providing me with a temporary supply. Amid this pandemic, I find this lack of flexibility frustrating. As a result, I'm considering giving my weekly grocery business of $[redacted] to a competitor, Meijers, located just across the road. I wanted to give this store another chance before switching, but their policy has left me disappointed. Thank you. - Ryan

I had an upsetting experience on Saturday morning with the manager, Leana, at the East Windsor Vision Center. I called to inquire about my order, which is a few days late. In a dismissive manner, Leana told me that my call wouldn't speed up the process, followed by what sounded like laughter with Faith. This behavior was starkly different from the friendly and professional treatment I received from Faith and the doctor. When Faith took over the call, I mentioned Leana's rudeness. Faith was understanding as I explained my difficulty in making calls.
I believe it's inappropriate for someone in a management role to display such unkindness. Despite Leana's subsequent apology, it came off as insincere due to her justifications for her behavior during the pandemic. This experience has left me feeling uneasy, especially considering I had paid in full and had positive interactions before this incident.
My husband also contacted them after hearing about my experience. Leana’s behavior was disheartening, and even though she apologized, the disrespect lingered. It’s disheartening to realize that I still have to collect my new glasses amidst this negative encounter. I hope for a positive remainder of my service, as the previous interactions at the center were satisfactory.

I would like to purchase a pair of Tom Ford eyeglasses that are not available in the store. I need to know where to submit my prescription from Dr. Rathjens. Additionally, I am considering upgrading to thinner, transitional, and progressive bifocal lenses. I am interested in learning about pricing, warranties, guarantees, and features of the different lens options available. Today, I visited a Walmart in Stratford, Connecticut, hoping to inquire about these options. Unfortunately, after 10 minutes of waiting while the employees were busy at their computers, I decided to leave. I plan to contact corporate customer service regarding this poor customer experience.

I recently bought two pairs of eyeglasses from the Hoosick St. store in Troy, NY, spending over $[redacted]. I am happy with my purchase, but the eyeglass case provided was very basic, more suitable for a child than an adult. Given the amount I spent, I would appreciate receiving a higher-quality cushioned case. Kindly reach out to me via email for your response. As a regular online customer, I believe I deserve a better case than the plain blue plastic one I was given. Thank you in advance for your reply.

I bought lenses for my glasses on January 4, [redacted], from the vision center at the Coal Township PA Wal-Mart. Unfortunately, there seems to be an issue with the lens coating as it is cracking once again. This marks the second occurrence. The staff at the local vision center where I made the purchase insists that the warranty is only valid for 60 days. I have attempted to clarify that the problem lies with a defective coating, which seems unrelated to the warranty period. I have exclusively used the lens wipes from the vision center for cleaning. I am hopeful that the lenses can be replaced to resolve this issue.

To whom it may concern,
On Friday, January 8, [redacted], I accompanied my daughter to select her glasses. Despite there being only 4 people in the store, including my daughter, the sign displayed a 7 person limit, and I was not permitted to enter. Furthermore, I inquired about obtaining silicone nose pieces for my glasses to assist in keeping them in place. In the past, I had received these for free due to previous purchases at the store. However, this time I was informed they cost $8 each. When I mentioned my prior free acquisitions, the employee stated that it should not have occurred as they cannot provide them for free. Given the significant cost of my glasses exceeding $[redacted], requiring these nose pieces to ensure their fit should not result in additional charges.
I am dissatisfied with the service I encountered and trust that these matters will be addressed with the staff promptly.

I recently got a new lens for my computer glasses frames purchased at Walmart due to a change in my prescription. After being informed that they were ready for pickup, I promptly received a bill from Walmart Health and Wellness for $40.10. Despite sending a check right away, when I went to collect my glasses, I was denied due to the outstanding balance. I informed the staff that I had already sent the payment, showing a copy of the check from my checkbook. However, as the employee was unaware of the Health and Wellness department, she insisted on a receipt. This situation is causing inconvenience as I need my glasses for work as an antique and collectibles appraiser. I have been a Walmart customer for about 20 years, and this recent experience is disheartening. It is essential for Walmart to educate its employees about the Health and Wellness Department and their processes for better customer service. My name is Joyce Wood, and you can contact me at [redacted].

I purchased glasses and had an eye exam at the Vision Center in Walmart Kingston, NY. Unfortunately, my new Ray-Ban frames experienced an issue as the lens popped out after just two months. When I contacted the customer service representative, they informed me that they couldn't replace the lens because it was challenging for them to install. I suggested I could pay for the new lenses and have them put in elsewhere, but they declined without providing a reason. I'm willing to cover the expenses; however, they refused to cooperate. I'm seeking assistance to resolve this matter without having to incur additional costs for another eye exam.

I recently bought sunglasses at the Walmart Vision Center, but unfortunately, they are not as dark as I specified, and they are causing discomfort in my left eye. It appears there may be an issue with the prescription. The manager has been quite unpleasant, unlike the other staff member who was more accommodating regarding an exchange. The manager is now unwilling to assist with the sunglasses. I offered to return the lenses for a refund, but she declined. I am considering escalating the matter to seek a resolution as I am not satisfied with the service provided.

I underwent cataract surgery in April [redacted] for both eyes. Recently, I got new glasses from Sam's Club in Conway, AR [redacted] based on my updated prescription. However, my eye doctor discovered a discrepancy in the prescription for my right eye's distance vision. The prescribed values are different from the Sam's Club lens, causing clarity issues in my right eye. Despite discussing this at Sam's Club, they deemed the lens to be "within tolerance" and did not offer a replacement. This has resulted in continued blurry vision in my right eye while wearing the glasses. I am seeking assistance to have the right lens replaced as per my eye doctor's prescription. Could you please assist in addressing this matter with Sam's optical department? Thank you. - J.G., Conway, AR [redacted]

Dear Supervisor of Vision Center at Walmart (Store [redacted]),
I am writing to address the unsatisfactory service I received today, December 30, [redacted], at your establishment.
Upon visiting for a simple adjustment to my glasses frame, I was dismayed when the employee Frances accidentally broke it. To compound the issue, I was then billed $[redacted] (Order [redacted]) for replacement frames.
Upon receiving the glasses, I noticed the frame was unclean, still bearing the price tag, and the lens appeared smudged. Upon further inspection, I discovered the left lens was damaged. Despite mentioning this to Frances, she initially feigned ignorance but later acknowledged the damage and the need for a replacement lens.
It is clear that through Frances' negligence in handling my glasses, they were damaged. I am greatly dissatisfied with this experience and kindly request an immediate refund of the amount charged under Order [redacted]. Failure to do so may result in me escalating this matter on Walmart's social platforms.
Yours sincerely,
Juan

When I arrived to drop off my prescription for new glasses, I ended up waiting for over an hour with only two staff members available to help. Later, when I returned to pick up my glasses, there was only one person handling the line of waiting customers. I mentioned that I needed to pick up a few additional items, but upon my return, there were still only two employees assisting customers, leaving others waiting. I expressed my frustration at the long wait for my glasses and the situation seemed to upset the employees as well. While the two staff members were doing their best, it was clear that more assistance is needed.

I purchased my glasses at Walmart in DeKalb, Illinois, in February [redacted]. While on vacation in South Carolina, I had them adjusted, and unfortunately, the frame broke during the process. The staff at Walmart in South Carolina replaced the frames with my old lenses. However, since then, I have been experiencing ongoing issues with the frame adjustment. Due to my progressive lenses, either my vision is compromised or I experience discomfort on my ears. Despite multiple attempts to adjust the glasses at various Walmart locations, including Riverview, Florida, DeKalb, and Batavia, Illinois, the problem persists. It's becoming clear that the frame itself may be faulty, given the difficulty in correcting the issue. Currently, I am using an old, incorrect prescription pair due to these challenges. I believe it's necessary to get a completely new pair of glasses, as the current frame seems to be ill-fitting.
