I am looking to obtain a learner's permit license. I have already prepared for the practice learner's permit test and now I am ready to take the actual test online. I visited the VicRoads website and clicked on booking a learner's permit test. Could someone please explain the procedure? Will I be able to complete the 32-question learner's permit test online, or do I need to go to VicRoads in person? Is it a theory or practical test? I am unsure if it's an online process. Will the format be similar to the computerized practice tests I have taken at home? I appreciate any clarification on this matter as I find it a bit confusing. Thank you.

I, Terry W Burns of 10 Meadow Lane, Ferntree Gully, Victoria, am requesting the cancellation of my car registration, license plate xbu327 - Maroon Commodore Wagon, due to the absence of a Roadworthy Certificate. I have been granted 2 extensions previously and am providing an update on my vehicle's maintenance for your records.
I have recently replaced the following parts in my car:
- Ignition Barrel
- Wiper Blades
- Fuel Filter
- Oil Filter
- Engine Oil
- Air Filter
- 6 Spark Plugs
- 6 Coils
- Gasket
There are additional repairs needed, and I kindly ask for a 2-week extension for the following reasons:
1. I have a commitment to scatter my daughter's ashes in Noosa on March 13th.
2. Despite seeking quotes from 3 mechanics since late December, I have yet to receive them. A colleague will assist with the repairs.
3. My business has suffered a substantial loss of about 70% due to the pandemic.
4. Parts ordered from overseas via eBay are still pending, as they offer more cost-effective options than local suppliers.
I aim to obtain the Roadworthy Certificate before my trip to Noosa.

Late Vehicle Registration Renewal
Hello, I recently discovered that the registration for our work van expired on 6/2/[redacted]. I understand that it is past the 3-month grace period, but due to personal circumstances and the overwhelming situation, I missed the deadline. The individual who usually handled these payments, my late mother-in-law, passed away over a year ago, and my father-in-law (also the owner) struggles to keep up with such matters. I am reaching out in the hopes that there might be an exception or a way to assist us during these challenging times, as it is financially burdensome for us to deal with the consequences now. Avoiding unnecessary exposure by not having to bring the van in for a roadworthy test would be greatly appreciated, especially given the current situation with COVID-19. We have undergone multiple tests and can provide documentation if necessary. Any help you could provide promptly would be immensely appreciated, and I am ready to pay the registration fees without delay.

During my learner's test, my overseas driving license was verified, and I was told I could drive with it instead of getting an Australian learner permit.
