On December 20, [redacted], I bought two $[redacted] gift cards and sent them as Christmas presents on December 21, [redacted]. Unfortunately, they were not received, and the recipients were told there might have been mail theft. I have the activation receipt numbers but not the actual card numbers. I believe they should match. I've tried to cancel them or track their usage without success. The customer service helpline for stolen cards has been unresponsive.

I used a $75 Vanilla Gift Card to buy a $75 Xbox Gift Card on the Microsoft online store. When I didn't receive the Xbox gift, I tried buying another using the same Vanilla Gift Card. The next day, I got two emails confirming both orders were canceled. But, the Vanilla Gift website shows a $0 balance due to a pending $75 Microsoft Gift Card charge. The site says pending charges update in 15 minutes, but it's been about 6 days now, and the balance hasn't changed. I want the pending balance removed, and the $75 restored to my card. Thank you.

I had $65.53 on my gift card before I visited the Shell gas station. I requested $20.00 worth of gas and swiped my card. When it asked for a pin, I explained to the cashier that I didn’t have one. The cashier canceled the transaction and asked me to try again. Despite this, the transaction kept being declined. Upon checking my balance, it showed zero. Reviewing my transactions, I saw a pending hold for $65.53. I am unsure how to proceed as I didn’t receive the gas or my money back.

I purchased a VISA Vanilla Gift Card on November 1, [redacted], for a friend. I informed my friend via email, but when they attempted to use the card, an error message appeared repeatedly. I contacted Walgreens where I bought the card, and they confirmed the verification code was valid. After attempting to fill out a dispute form provided by the card company, I encountered technical difficulties and missed the deadline. Despite multiple texts regarding the issue, the funds were still awarded to the wrong recipient. I have the physical card, receipt, and detailed card information: Card Number - [redacted], Expiration Date - 05/27, and PIN Code - [redacted]. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I bought a $75 Xbox gift card with a $75 Vanilla gift card on the Microsoft online store. My initial order failed, so I tried again with the same Vanilla gift card. I got emails the next day saying both orders were canceled. However, my Vanilla gift card balance shows $0 due to a pending $75 Xbox gift card charge. The Vanilla gift website mentioned pending transactions should update in 15 minutes, but it’s been about 6 days without any change. I am looking for a solution to resolve this issue and get my $75 back. Thank you.

I received a Vanilla Visa Gift card from my employer in recognition of 15 years with the company. However, when I attempt to check my balance using the toll-free number and provide the card details, the system does not recognize my card number. Despite numerous attempts to reach customer service, all I am met with is loud, distorted music and no assistance. I have spent over two days trying to resolve this issue, and yesterday (1/3/23) I was on hold for over an hour without any success. I am frustrated and seeking help to have Vanilla Gift card address this issue promptly by providing me with an active and functional card.

I am experiencing issues with a $[redacted] Vanilla gift card that still has a remaining balance. The card is not working, and attempts to check the balance online result in an error message prompting to try again later. Furthermore, when I try to check the balance over the phone, the system indicates that my card number is invalid. This is different from my other Vanilla gift cards, even those with a zero balance, as I can still check their balances and transaction history. It seems as though this specific $[redacted] gift card was never activated properly. I would greatly appreciate assistance in resolving this matter as I intend to use the remaining balance. Please contact me at [redacted] or via email at [redacted], preferably by phone. Thank you. -A.S.

I've been attempting to resolve this ongoing issue for the past two months. I bought a $[redacted] gift card, but every time I tried to make purchases with it, the transactions were declined. Despite requesting a replacement card, I was informed it would arrive in about two weeks. After the two-week mark, the card had not been sent. Upon following up, I was informed that a case needed to be initiated. Despite not being informed of this initially, I provided my details, received a case number, and was assured I'd receive an email regarding the gift card. However, a week later, no email has been received. Each time I've called took over an hour to connect with a representative, and the last call left me on hold for over ninety minutes, causing me frustration. I am eager to either receive a new gift card promptly or obtain a refund.

I have encountered an issue with a $[redacted] Vanilla Visa gift card that I received as a Christmas present from my mom. She purchased a total of four $[redacted] gift cards, and mine is the only one that is not working. Despite verifying that the card was activated and had a balance of $[redacted] on 12-16-22 at a local CVS store, I experienced multiple declines when trying to use it for online and in-store purchases. Although I tried contacting the customer service number provided on the back of the card (1-[redacted]) every day since 12-26-22, I have been unable to resolve the problem. I have reached out to Pathward, N.A. (Metabank corp) and Visa, but without success. I even contacted the CVS store where the card was purchased, but the issue remains unresolved. As a stay-at-home mom, every dollar counts, so I am hopeful for a solution soon. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

I had $7 on my card when I decided to buy some Taco Bell because it was unusually cheap. I was surprised there were no hidden fees, so I returned my order. It said the money would be back in 2-3 business days, which left me confused since it was my first time doing this. Checking my Vanilla Gift Card balance afterward, it hadn't changed, which made me happy. However, after an hour, I tried again, but a system error message kept popping up. I've been locked out of my account for a day now, despite numerous attempts to access it. Customer service mentioned an issue with my card, but I couldn't get a representative to help me. I really want my Taco Bell, so any assistance would be appreciated.

I recently spoke with someone regarding a service that is supposed to be free, but I am unable to pay for it as I do not have a debit card. I initially used a $50 Visa gift card at Walmart in Valley View and McDonald's at Crossroads Mall in Roanoke, Virginia. After using the gift card, I returned the purchased items to Walmart for a refund to the now-empty Visa gift card, which I no longer possess. I would appreciate any advice on how to proceed in this situation.

I have encountered issues using VisaVanilla gift cards at merchants. Previously, I could use them on Facebook to play games, which uses Meta. However, Facebook has now stopped accepting these gift cards as payment. I am currently checking if PayPal has also discontinued accepting them. Many individuals, including myself, are frustrated with the unhelpful customer service and the inability to use gift cards received as presents. When I recently tried to utilize my most recent gift card, which had worked fine until now, it was declined. After contacting customer service, I was directed to email [redacted] to provide private information regarding the card dispute. Numerous people have similarly faced this situation, with some resorting to legal action through class action lawsuits.

I strongly advise against purchasing a Vanilla gift card under any circumstances. We understand your frustration and apologize for any inconvenience caused. Your feedback is valuable, and if you have suggestions on how we can improve clarity in our policies, please share them with us. Our goal is to enhance our system for all users and advertisers.
We are aware of an issue regarding the inability to use Prepaid Cards, like Visa Vanilla gift cards, for purchases. This change is necessary to comply with external legal requirements, and by the fourth quarter of this year, payments via Prepaid Card will no longer be accepted. This is part of an ongoing effort to centralize gaming product checkout processes under Meta Pay for anonymous and one-time payments.
Due to this migration, we will no longer support Prepaid Card purchases for games and will be eliminating this payment option from the purchase process.

I received a $25 Visa Vanilla gift card as a gift, but I'm having trouble linking it to my PayPal account. I also received a $40 gift card from my sister, and I'm facing the same issue with it on PayPal. I've had negative experiences with Visa Vanilla Gift Cards in the past and am aware of legal action being taken against INCOMM. I'm eager to resolve this quickly, as I want to start using these cards right away.

My sibling recently bought a Visa Vanilla gift card for me during the holidays. Despite my reservations, I predicted it would lead to issues, and now it has. I contacted the customer service number on the card to check the balance, but it claimed the number was incorrect. This situation is frustrating. I suspected my sibling's choice of gift would backfire, and I'm worried about being scammed once more. I would like these cards to be connected to PayPal immediately. Facebook and Meta are no longer accepting them as payment methods due to legal disputes. Please link my PayPal account. The code sent to my phone is not functioning, so please discontinue that method.

Please note that Facebook and Meta Bank have stated online merchants will no longer accept Visa Vanilla gift cards as a payment method. If you wish to link your gift cards to your PayPal account, unfortunately, that option will no longer be available.

I purchased a vanilla visa gift card from a local Dollar General store. Unfortunately, my youngest son accidentally threw away the bag with the unopened card. I have the receipt and all the necessary information, and the store manager is helping me by checking the footage of me purchasing and bagging the card. I loaded $[redacted] onto the card using cash. I am a 39-year-old individual receiving social security and have visual impairments. I recently lost my husband during a heart transplant surgery in September [redacted], and I am struggling financially. I have been trying to resolve this issue since November last year, but the previous customer service representatives were unhelpful and rude to me. I need guidance on which customer service number to call or what steps to take next.

I am unable to check my card balance. I bought the card last night and discovered a $39.99 transaction when I tried to check the balance. The customer service representative mentioned it was a scam and assured me the amount would be reimbursed. I am uncertain if it has been returned. Additionally, I am unable to check the current balance online as the system is not functioning. I am frustrated and seeking assistance to resolve this matter promptly.

I bought a $[redacted].00 gift card on December 21 as a Christmas gift, but it got lost. I reported it immediately and provided all necessary documentation to Vanilla Gift Cards. They issued a replacement card worth $50.00 instead of my $[redacted].00. Despite numerous attempts to contact customer service, including speaking with a supervisor, I am still without a resolution. I am frustrated as I am being told to wait while the "back office" handles the situation, but I am unable to reach them directly. I simply want my $[redacted].00 reimbursed and hope to receive a timely response from Vanilla Gift Cards.
