I received a Vanilla Visa gift card with $80 available. I made a purchase on etsy.com for $24 on 4/14/23. The card was declined during my next use. Upon checking the balance, I noticed $56 was deducted, leaving only 83 cents. The Vanilla Visa website no longer displays the balance or transaction history for this card. No one else had access to the card, and I had it with me during the declined transaction on 4/15/23 at 5:22 pm.

I purchased a vanilla visa gift card in late March. After having it for only about three days, I checked the balance online and it showed "STATUS: ON HOLD. Contact customer service immediately." I reached out to customer service but had difficulty communicating with the representative. He continuously put me on hold, requested unrelated debit card information, and didn't address my concern about the card issue. Consequently, I ended the call due to the frustrating experience.

I purchased a $25 vanilla gift card, and there were four unauthorized charges on it before I even activated the card. I am upset that my hard-earned money was taken, which I needed to pay a bill. I am experiencing difficulty with my gift card being temporarily suspended. After trying to make a purchase on Amazon, my gift card balance was declined, resulting in my Amazon account being locked and the gift card being put on hold. Once I successfully resolved the issues with Amazon by regaining access to my account and canceling the initial order, the hold on the card persisted. Although I suspect the matter lies with Amazon rather than the Vanilla gift card, I believe it's worth contacting them to explore the possibility of lifting the hold or canceling the order. Despite waiting for approximately 6 hours, there hasn't been any progress which leaves me uncertain. Thank you for your assistance!

I am trying to make a purchase on ca.shein.com for a total of $40.74 CAD using a $50 Vanilla prepaid Mastercard gift card that is activated and not expired. I recently purchased a vanilla gift card from Walgreens, but upon opening it, I noticed there was no three-digit security code on the back. I've been unable to reach a real person through the customer service numbers provided and I can't use the card online. I attempted to use it in-store for a small purchase, but it was declined. Walgreens informed me that I need to contact vanilla customer service as they are not responsible once the card is sold. This has been frustrating as I intended to use the card to order a Mother's Day gift for my mom, leaving me with no choice but to buy something else for her. I am requesting a refund for a $50.00 vanilla gift card purchased from Walmart in Bedford, Texas on May 16, [redacted]. I bought a $30 gift card some time ago but forgot to activate it before using. On April 6, [redacted], I purchased a Vanilla Gift card for $[redacted]. When I got home and opened it, I discovered it was defective. Part of the numbers on the front and the security code on the back were missing. I promptly returned to Walgreens with pictures of the card, receipts, and my driver's license, as requested. Walgreens directed me to contact your company.
My first call to your company on April 6, [redacted], was with Elba. She provided me with case number [redacted]8 and mentioned that an investigation would take 10 days. I shared all the necessary information, including my husband's name, Matt, our address at [redacted] Woodstock Way, Sacramento, California, [redacted], and our telephone number, [redacted].
During my second call on an unspecified date, I spoke with Nilo from Customer Service. He informed me that the investigation would take at least 30 days and recommended checking with Walgreens to expedite their response, as the company was waiting for feedback. Upon speaking with the Walgreens manager on April 27, [redacted], I learned that they had not received any communication from your company.
Despite my third call on May 18, [redacted], during which I was on hold for 58 minutes before being disconnected, no progress has been made. As of today, it has been more than 40 days since the purchase, and I am unable to use the card while $[redacted].00 of mine remains with your company. If the matter is not resolved by Monday, May 22, [redacted], legal action will be pursued as I believe my funds are being wrongfully withheld. The treatment and misinformation received are unacceptable, especially considering we are senior citizens living on a fixed income.

Yesterday, I unfortunately fell victim to a scam where I lost $[redacted]. The individual who called me claiming to be from my bank used the name Melissa Owens. She persuaded me to go to Walgreens and deposit cash into a "virtual account" she provided credentials and access to. Subsequently, she sent me a screenshot of a barcode with the cash app logo. After making the deposit and obtaining the receipt, it indicated 'electronic card activation vanilla direct pay TF29.'

I had a $[redacted] Vanilla Visa Gift Card that I used at Walmart.com and in a Walmart store. On 5/31, I noticed 7 pending fraudulent charges to Paypal when I checked my balance. I promptly called customer service, and the representative mentioned a hold on my card for investigation. I was advised to call back on 6/8 to file a claim. However, on 6/2, the unauthorized charges had gone through, so I called again. This time, I was informed they couldn't dispute cleared charges or offer refunds for them. It's puzzling why the charges were processed when I had reported them while they were still pending, especially with the card on hold.

I recently received a $[redacted] VISA gift card as a graduation gift, but it appears to be defective. The card has only 14 digits instead of the usual 16, making it impossible for me to check the balance or use it.
