Subject: Issue with Upromise College Fund Account
Dear Customer Support,
I encountered a problem with accessing my Upromise college fund account. I have not used it in years as my beneficiary did not immediately attend college after high school. Upon trying to access it recently, I discovered it contained $[redacted].00 during my last review.
When attempting to access the account online, I was unsuccessful. Even after contacting customer service, they were unable to locate any details about my account. It was suggested that my account might have been transferred to the state. This came as a surprise since I was never informed of any requirement to access it periodically.
After reaching out to the Washington State unclaimed money agency, I found that a sum of $13.00 from Upromise was under their records. This raises concerns about the whereabouts of my remaining funds. I seek a comprehensive report on my funds.
Below are my details for reference:
- Name: Peggy J Walsh
- Beneficiary: Bryan Bonn
- Account #: [redacted]
- Account Type: Individual [redacted]
- Previous Email: [redacted] (Current Email: [redacted])
- Address: [redacted] [redacted] PL NE, Marysville, WA, [redacted]
- Previous Phone: [redacted] (Current Phone: [redacted])
I hope to receive a prompt response.
Best regards,
Peggy Walsh

I am attempting to manage the accounts receiving contributions from a UPromise MasterCard. Visiting Upromise.com seems futile as all actions require logging in first, including accessing the "Contact Us" tool. Unfortunately, I am unable to log in due to forgotten login details and an outdated email on file. Re-gaining access to my account is essential, yet the website does not offer a way to do this without being logged in.

I attempted to reset my Upromise password using my registered email, but I haven't received the reset link. I've checked my spam folder and it's not there. I require assistance to regain access to my Upromise and [redacted] account.

I created an Upromise account 17 years ago along with their credit cards using an email provided by my previous cable/internet provider. After switching providers three years ago, I can no longer access the email associated with my account, making it impossible to reset my password. Despite my attempts to contact support via phone, online chat, and email, I have only received automated responses that did not resolve my issue. When I tried to set up a new account, it created a duplicate instead of recognizing my existing one where my daughter's college funds are saved. The email linked to the original account is [redacted], and my daughters are C.S. (born 09/13/[redacted]) and L.S. (born 11/10/[redacted]). I received a password reset link once, but it was for the new account, not the one with the accumulated funds. I now use [redacted], and there is a new account associated with that email that can be closed.

My current email address used for my account is associated with my former workplace and is no longer active since I retired. I had to switch from my hotmail.com address because Upromise stopped accepting it. I'm having trouble logging into my account because I think I might be using the wrong password (scharfbaby or babyscharf) and my current email is invalid. Initially, the account was registered under [redacted] but later changed to [redacted] I have approximately $[redacted].00 in the account that I intended to split between my grandkids Jack and Charlotte Scharfenberger. I have now created a new email at [redacted] Can you please send the password reset to this new email and confirm which email is currently linked to my account?

Can anyone provide assistance?

I have Upromise accounts set up for each of my three children and they are all linked to a Upromise Mastercard. I haven't logged into the Upromise website for some time now and I seem to have forgotten my password. To complicate matters, I now have a new email address.
I could use some help in regaining access to my account. Just to verify, my name is Don Harrold, and the accounts are for Katherine (Kate), Paul, and John.
Please let me know how I can proceed to regain access to the accounts.
Thank you,
Don Harrold

I need assistance updating my phone number on the Upromise App. Despite contacting Customer Support twice, providing detailed explanations and verifying my account with identification photos, my phone number remains incorrect. The responses from Customer Support only instruct me to verify my account and confirm that I can log in, instead of addressing the actual issue of the wrong phone number. I have even sent multiple screenshots as evidence. I simply want my phone number corrected to ensure accurate information on my account. If Customer Support is the recommended avenue for resolving this, why is the problem persisting without proper assistance? Is there anyone who can address my request effectively? Thank you. - T.G.

Dear Upromise, I am requesting the cancellation of my outstanding bill and the discontinuation of any future billing. My account was unexpectedly terminated in April [redacted]. It took me three months of considerable time and effort to transfer over $3,[redacted].00 in college earnings accumulated over 16 years to my daughter's [redacted] College Savings account. I refrained from paying the $[redacted].00 principal owed due to challenges faced during the transfer process, potentially resulting in late fees totaling $[redacted].33. I kindly ask for the complete dismissal of this outstanding balance. Considering the account termination in April without prior notice, I no longer wish to engage in further transactions with Upromise. Thank you, Jennifer Nadler Wright, Upromise Account ending in [redacted].

I recently took advantage of a checking account promotion with Discover through Upromise. I opened the account as instructed, and it has been successfully set up. The promotion was a one-day offer for Monday, where if you deposited $50 or more, Upromise would deposit an extra $50 into the account. During the account setup process and linking my external account for deposits, I was informed there would be two verification deposits to confirm. However, I'm concerned that this verification process may delay my ability to deposit the $50 in the Discover account on time to qualify for the promotion since it was only valid for Monday. I'm hopeful that once the verification is completed, I will still be eligible to receive the $50 bonus as initially promised. Thank you for your assistance.
