On 09/04/[redacted], I placed an order on Ubereats from Jason's Deli, but I never received it. Despite providing the correct address to the driver, he refused to deliver and cancelled my order. I was charged a $41.49 cancellation fee for an order I did not cancel. I have always used my correct address on Ubereats and this is the first time this has happened. I will not pay for an order I did not receive. I have reordered the same items and received them properly. I have informed my credit card company not to pay the $41.49 cancellation fee. I ordered from my mother's phone on September 5th for delivery to where she is hospitalized. I have ordered for her multiple times without issues. I provided detailed instructions and a phone number for the driver to call upon arrival. I informed the facility's receptionist to expect an Uber Eats driver. Unfortunately, the driver named Garry, order #[redacted], did not follow instructions and instead upset my mother by yelling at her on the phone. My mother, who is recovering from injuries and fragile, was left in tears. Due to my own health issues, I couldn't rush to help her. This behavior is unacceptable, and I demand to speak to Garry's manager. I will contact the company tomorrow to address this. It's distressing to see my mother treated this way when I depend on this service to provide her meals. I expect a prompt resolution to this matter.

The current Uber Eats promotion for new users on the website is "25welcome." I'm questioning if this is a marketing ploy to attract new customers. When attempting to use the promo code, there are continual issues with the order processing. After encountering problems with a $[redacted] card, I switched to a friend's $[redacted] card, but the same problem persisted. At times, the offer vanishes, indicating it's already been redeemed even though I have no order history reflecting this. I've also tested other codes like YUM and tried ordering from different places without success. Unsure if this is a legitimate promotion, contemplating switching to DoorDash or Grubhub instead.

I recently placed an order with Uber Eats, only to have it cancelled after waiting for over 2 hours. Tracking the order on the app, I saw a delivery driver was on the way to pick it up. However, suddenly he disappeared from the map, and the app status went back and forth between "preparing" and "wrapping up" for another hour. Unable to reach support or get any help, I tried calling the restaurant multiple times, but they never answered or even cut the call off once.
This is not the first time this exact situation has occurred, and it's extremely disappointing. Waiting for so long with no way to cancel the order or get any assistance is unacceptable. Watching the delivery driver pick up the order and then abandon it is simply frustrating.
I have removed the app from my device and will not be using it again. Experiencing this issue once could be overlooked, but having it happen twice is truly upsetting.

I am Maria Otero and I need assistance with an Uber Eats receipt. When ordering from Buffalo Wild Wings online, I inadvertently used Uber Eats and overpaid by $30 compared to ordering directly on my phone app. The total should have been $46.46, but I was charged $75.82 online. I am not an Uber Eats customer and would appreciate a credit adjustment of $29 for this order. I picked up the order in person at Buffalo Wild Wings in Danbury, CT on September 4th.

I recently placed an order for food, and the driver, Marek, faced difficulties locating my address. Despite giving directions over the phone, he abruptly hung up. When I tried to call back, he claimed to have left the delivery at my doorstep without actually doing so. Upon checking the app, I found a photo of my order misplaced at a different location. I went to retrieve it, only to witness Marek taking the food and driving away. Despite his attempt to show a picture of the delivery, he had no intention of leaving it. I placed an order with McDonald's nearly an hour ago. The app shows they are preparing my food, but after contacting the restaurant, they claim they have not received the Uber Eats order. I've attempted to reach Uber Eats support multiple times, but they are not answering calls. I refuse to pay $8 to cancel an order that wasn’t even processed due to no fault of mine. I placed my food delivery order an hour ago with an expected wait time of 15-20 minutes. The restaurant is only a few blocks away, but it still hasn't been delivered after an hour. The estimated delivery time keeps getting pushed back every 10 minutes. The app shows the delivery person as "walking to pick up," which is confusing. On September 3rd, I placed an order with Drumstick Stevenage using the Uber Eats App. The initial order cost was £8.48. Shortly after, I got a notification that the order was canceled, claiming I had canceled it with the restaurant, which was incorrect. I reordered, but the item was out of stock, so I chose a different option priced at £7.80. My bank account was charged for both orders, and though I received the second order on time, the refund for the canceled £8.48 order has not been processed. I find this situation unacceptable. I ordered food last night, and it arrived 40 minutes late. The food was terrible, with hard chicken, stale chips, and excessive peri peri salt. To my surprise, the place I ordered from was not Pollo Loco Peri Peri but actually a chip shop called Pickles. If I had known this earlier, I wouldn't have ordered from there, given its poor reputation. I'm extremely disappointed and hope to hear back from you soon.

We are frequent customers but often face driver issues. When we order food, drivers struggle to locate our Condo units on Lemon Ave which require using a call box for entry. This recurring problem makes us feel that the drivers are lazy. As a board member, my wife has received numerous complaints from residents regarding delivery persons, mainly Asian drivers or older Spanish speakers who have communication challenges. It has become common for us to venture down the block to retrieve our food as drivers end up in the wrong locations. Despite addressing this, drivers have reacted nonchalantly, laughing off the situation. We hope for improved service; otherwise, we will seek a more dependable food delivery service.

I recently placed an order on your website and mistakenly selected the wrong restaurant location. Despite my immediate attempt to cancel the order, I encountered difficulties navigating the cancellation process. The customer chat support was slow to respond and provided conflicting information about canceling the order. Ultimately, I was informed it was too late to cancel, even though no driver had been assigned yet. The agent suggested I could contact the driver, which was not possible at that moment. Frustratingly, the agent abruptly ended the chat without resolving the issue. I am extremely dissatisfied with this experience and find it unfair to both the driver and myself. Unfortunately, I was unable to reach your phone support due to the limited operating hours. It is disappointing that there seems to be no seamless way to cancel an order on your platform.

I encountered a long line at the Dunkin' Donuts while picking up orders for two people. Unfortunately, upon reaching the window, the staff informed me that another Uberdriver had already picked up the order for Yesica. Despite my request for a written statement to prove the food was given to someone else, they declined and reiterated that the order was collected by another Uberdriver for Yesica. I hoped to obtain reimbursement for the affected customer and was willing to cover the costs if UberEATS would not. For further assistance, Yesica can be reached at [redacted]. On September 12, [redacted], I placed an order at McDonald's located at [redacted] Losee Rd, N. Las Vegas, NV [redacted] around 9:48 PM. The order consisted of a Big Mac medium meal with Orange Fanta, 2 ten-piece Chicken McNuggets, and 2 apple fritters, totaling $20.84. However, upon receiving my order, it only contained the nuggets, fritters, and was missing the Big Mac meal and drink. I attempted to contact the delivery person at [redacted] but was informed it was an invalid number. After contacting McDonald's, I was disconnected multiple times before speaking with a manager who requested I come to the store for a replacement, despite my inability to drive due to being visually impaired. Upon reviewing my account, I noticed I was charged $20.84 and an additional $69.97 by Uber Eats. I request an immediate refund of $69.97 and an adjustment for the missing items. I had a disappointing experience with my recent order from Kebap 49 in London Cricklewood. The packaging was wet and greasy, and the order was delivered in poor condition. I normally order from them regularly, but this time was a letdown. I couldn't take photos as my phone was upstairs when I went to pick up the order. I asked the driver to return it, but no one from the store has contacted me to address the issue. I had to cancel the order online and order from a different restaurant to get dinner. Uber Eats accepted my voucher and credited my South African account in USD. Despite confirming the credit, they now claim I can't use it due to currency issues. They refuse to convert the voucher to ZAR, won't allow me to use it, and won't return it. There was no warning when applying the voucher; instead, I received a "successfully applied" message.
Uber Eats has converted credits to ZAR for me in the past. The agent I dealt with was unhelpful, and it feels like theft. Uber Eats must return the voucher, refund me, or provide a different voucher. They can't keep my funds without allowing their use or returning the voucher.

Last night, I placed an order at a restaurant assuming it was nearby, only to realize it was far away and wanted to cancel within a minute of ordering. Unfortunately, the Uber app, not Uber Eats, didn't allow me to cancel the order due to what seems to be a bug. Following instructions, I was unable to cancel without downloading the Uber Eats app. Upon contacting the restaurant, they assured me the order hadn't started and were willing to cancel. It took a few minutes to download Uber Eats, causing me to exceed the cancellation time limit. I promptly canceled the order once I had the correct app. This issue is due to Uber's app error and not my own. I am requesting a refund as this situation is unsatisfactory.

Today was extremely frustrating with this app. I ordered a meal from Burger's Priest in Hamilton at 6 pm. When the driver arrived at 6:45 pm without the receipt, he called Uber to confirm my order, leaving me waiting for 15 minutes. After finally receiving the order at 7 pm, it turned out not to be mine. I returned the food to the driver and called Burger's Priest to resolve the situation quickly for my family.
After a 10-minute wait, I spoke to a Burger's Priest floor manager who took a few minutes to locate my missing order. Upon finding out the driver forgot my food at the restaurant due to a delivery mix-up, the manager was indecisive about how to resolve the issue. Eventually, Burger's Priest instructed me to seek a refund from Uber, as they were not willing to take responsibility for the mistake.
It's now 7:45 pm, and I am left dealing with the inconvenience of not only missing dinner but also the lack of customer service and resolution for the issue. As someone with experience in the service industry, I find this level of service unacceptable and expect better assistance from Uber given the lack of support from Burger's Priest.

We contacted the delivery person to request they avoid going up due to my partner's reduced mobility. The delivery person said they couldn't comply, and when my partner informed them she was on her way down but needed some time due to her temporary disability, they called during her descent and didn't wait the 15 minutes as agreed. Only when my partner reached the bottom did she realize the delivery person had already left. Our long-standing residence and adherence to protocol show our good intent. We feel let down by the delivery service's behavior which goes against what is promised in their policy. Despite receiving automated support messages, we are disappointed and no longer trust this service after this incident, our first negative encounter with them.
