I am a visiting scholar from China and have been in the U.S. for over 5 months. My husband and daughter applied for visas in China 3 months ago. While my husband's visa was approved at the end of August after additional information was provided, my daughter's visa is still pending. She is only 4 years old, and it seems unusual for it to be taking this long. Her name is Xueer Hu, UID [redacted]1, passport id EC[redacted], and Application ID AA0083VQ6G. We have been waiting for over 3 weeks since my husband's visa was approved. It would be greatly appreciated if you could help us look into this matter. Thank you very much.

I am inquiring about the J1 visa administrative processing. I had an interview on 08/13/[redacted] at the consulate in Shenyang, China. Unfortunately, I have not received any updates on my case despite many attempts to reach out via phone and email. Each time, I am told my application is still in administrative processing, with no need for additional documents. However, there is no information on the timeline or the specific office handling my case. The process has been ongoing for nearly four months. Could you please help expedite the administrative process and provide detailed information on my visa application? My DS160 confirmation number is AA00876h5E, name Xin Liu, passport number ED[redacted], and birthdate 02/18/[redacted]. Thank you for your assistance.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I applied for the Diversity Visa, and my interview took place on April 30, [redacted], at the US consulate in Mumbai. The consulate officer mentioned that everything was in order, but requested transcripts for my university studies. As I am still in my final year of undergraduate studies, I provided the results from the last completed semester. Subsequently, I was informed that my case is undergoing administrative processing. After two business days, I received a rejection email from the consulate citing section 212a 5a.
