Dear Sirs, I am Oxana Yakovleva, and I traveled with my daughter Mariya Juliya Yakovleva from Italy (Venice - 30.12.[redacted]) to Kazakhstan (Almaty - 11.01.[redacted]) with booking reference S46CMA. Unfortunately, due to the riots in Almaty in Jan [redacted], our return flight to Italy was canceled. I was notified via email. Curiously, the payment for the flight vanished from my credit card, only to reappear two months later with a sudden deduction of [redacted] EURO. I am puzzled as to why the amount was deducted now, especially given the currency rate increase in my country due to the Ukraine and Russia conflict. I am also concerned about the additional charges incurred due to the delayed transaction. Despite my attempts to reach out to the local call center in Almaty and submit a claim through the website, I have been unsuccessful. Could you please clarify the situation and refund my money promptly? Looking forward to your prompt response, Oxana Yakovleva

My wife and I are planning to fly from South Africa to Romania with our 4 pet rabbits. We would like to bring them in the cabin with us, using 2 pet carriers with 2 rabbits each. Each carrier will be under 8kg as our rabbits are about 2kg each. Our rabbits are calm, well-behaved, and noise-free. They are considered emotional support animals. I noticed that your website mentions dogs, cats, and birds regarding pet travel but does not specify regulations for rabbits. There is also no mention of rabbits in the list of animals prohibited for transport. Our main concern is whether Turkish Airlines permits rabbits on board. We want to ensure we won't face issues, particularly at the airport or during our layover at Istanbul Airport. Your clarification on these matters will help us decide on booking our tickets. Thank you. - Graeme and Diana

Last year, I purchased a ticket for my travel, and on the day of my trip, I had all the necessary documents with me. I even spent the night at the airport to avoid any delays, but unfortunately, the staff at the check-in desk caused me to miss my flight due to their slow service. Despite being a long-time customer and having used your airline for many years while living in Sweden, the lack of customer care was disappointing. I have reached out with a complaint requesting another ticket, but regrettably, I have not received any assistance yet.

Dear Sirs and Madams, Today, I flew back from Istanbul on 9.3.22 at 11:25. I want to inform you that the flight attendant, Ms. Güler, yelled at me because I didn't understand her instructions. I tried to explain to her several times that I didn't comprehend what she wanted from me. Eventually, a man translated for me that I needed to place my small bag in the overhead compartment. I refused, and then she accused me of Russian descent and threatened to have me removed from the flight immediately. Another colleague intervened and reassured me that everything was fine. I felt discriminated against for my nationality. I am not at fault for the conflicts in the world. While I was born in Russia, I have been living in Germany for years and hold a German passport. Sincerely, Irina D.

I had a return ticket from Almaty, Kazakhstan to Atlanta, Georgia on January 14, [redacted]. I was unable to fly due to having Covid. Before the flight, I contacted Turkish Airlines (TA) by phone as instructed by the agent and opened a ticket online with the number TK-[redacted]. On January 15, I received an email requesting proof of a positive PCR test. I submitted the proof on January 26. On March 8, [redacted], I tried contacting TA via email, online, and Facebook as their phone lines were not functioning. After reaching out on Facebook, I was asked to open another ticket. I am seeking a refund for the ticket or a ticket credit in my TA account.

I purchased a ticket for my wife, G.O., from a Suriname agent on September 27th, [redacted], for her flight from Lagos, Nigeria, on October 17th, [redacted]. The ticket was canceled 17 days before the flight as the Lagos office confirmed she would board. I canceled the ticket accordingly. It has been 6 months now, and I have not received the refund. The travel and tour agents in Suriname mentioned that your office has not responded regarding the refund. I kindly request to receive the refund promptly.

Hello Team, I hope you're well. I am reaching out regarding reservation TGI7CQ. The passenger was present at the airport but encountered circumstances preventing boarding. The airline provided Future Credits for the full ticket amount, allowing rebooking without penalty. The travel must be completed by July 3, [redacted]. The passenger aims to reschedule the flight for April 27, [redacted], departing SFO to LHE, and returning on June 8, [redacted], from LHE to SFO. To proceed, we require a Waiver Code for the mentioned dates without facing a No-show Penalty. I already contacted Turkish Airline Customer Relation Department and spoke with Agent Sinan in Istanbul (ID: BJ), who confirmed the rebooking possibility but requested a Waiver Code for waiver considerations. Your prompt assistance in providing the Waiver Code for the rebooking would be greatly appreciated. I have patiently awaited a response for the past five days. Thank you.

Good afternoon, I bought a ticket from Turkish Airlines last year, but due to an expired passport, I had to receive a partial credit. The credit is expiring soon, and I'm requesting an extension to use it. I've been attempting to reach customer service by phone without success, so I kindly ask for a prompt email reply to discuss my ticket. Currently, I can't travel to Afghanistan because the Taliban has prohibited women from traveling alone. Extending my ticket is crucial as I plan to use it at a later date. Please respond to me at your earliest convenience. Thank you, A. Safazada

Hello, I am writing to express my disappointment with the irresponsible behavior of Turkish Airlines at Landvetter Airport in Gothenburg. As a loyal student member of the Turkish Airlines Miles & Smiles program, I have always preferred using their services. However, due to a recent incident, my opinion has changed. Despite the updated information regarding the removal of the PCR test requirement at my destination, I was wrongly asked by a check-in staff at Landvetter Airport to take a PCR test, which was unnecessary. I informed the staff member that it was not mandatory, but she insisted otherwise. Surprisingly, other passengers without the PCR test were allowed to board the flight. As a result, I had to pay [redacted] SEK for the unnecessary test, causing me a significant financial loss. I hope that Turkish Airlines addresses this issue promptly. Best regards, Soroush A.

Dear Turkish Airlines Team, I would like to bring to your attention an issue I encountered with a flight booking I made last year. The flight schedule for my journey from Hurghada to Istanbul (TK703) and then from Istanbul to Hamburg (TK1665) was significantly altered. The alternative flight option provided by your team would have caused a several-hour delay in my arrival in Germany, which was not feasible for me due to work commitments. Consequently, I visited the Turkish Airlines Office in Hurghada to request a refund for my ticket. Unfortunately, they were unable to process the refund to my credit card due to a technical glitch and issued me a voucher with the number [redacted][redacted] instead. Upon reviewing the voucher, I discovered it is only valid until the end of July [redacted]. Given the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, I have been unable to travel to Egypt and utilize the voucher as planned. As the issues I faced were a result of circumstances beyond my control, I kindly request an extension of the voucher deadline by at least 6 months or a refund. Thank you for your understanding and assistance in resolving this matter. Sincerely, Dr. Katja S.

I had booked a roundtrip flight from Frankfurt to Bodrum for March 11th to the 18th, but it got canceled due to conflicting reasons mentioned in emails - one citing Corona and another the weather. I rescheduled the flight for the 12th to the 19th, then again for the 12th to the 20th of March. Confusion arose when conflicting flight information was received, leading me to spend hours at the TK desk at the airport. Eventually, it was stated that the flight was scheduled for Wednesday, not guaranteed. The young man at the desk assured a full refund, which I am seeking as I did not receive the service I paid for. My booking number is [redacted]8. Kindly consider the inconvenience caused by the thrice cancellation of the flights. S. Black

On 05-04-[redacted], my wife, T.V., purchased an electronic ticket with your company. The ticket number is [redacted], under the name of T.V. The payment was made with my UNICREDIT credit card, in the name of M.F., but the bank account is joint with my wife. After verifying all the details, your operator instructed me to make the payment and assured me that the travel documents would be sent to my email. Today, when I called with some questions, I was informed that I must personally visit a Turkish Airline office for security reasons. Unfortunately, there are no offices in Cagliari, and I am unable to go. I kindly request urgent assistance from you as this falls under your responsibilities. The operator who issued the ticket yesterday confirmed everything was fine. Please contact me at [redacted] promptly. Look forward to hearing from you. Regards, M.F. Email: [redacted]

Dear Customer Service, I am contacting you regarding a refund for myself and my two brothers following a troubling experience with Turkish Airlines. Upon arriving at Newark airport, we encountered significant issues trying to obtain our boarding passes, leading to nearly missing our flight. Once in Turkey during a layover, I mistakenly left one of my bags on the plane and had to navigate through various challenges to retrieve it, including purchasing a Turkish visa. Our return journey was also fraught with difficulties, as our PCR test was deemed invalid, resulting in a canceled flight and an overnight stay in a hotel. The overall emotional toll and inconvenience we experienced throughout this trip have left us deeply dissatisfied. We had to seek alternative transportation due to the airline's inefficiency and lack of support. Despite numerous attempts to address our concerns with Turkish Airlines, we have received minimal assistance and would appreciate a prompt resolution and full refund for the distress caused during our family vacation. I kindly request your attention to this matter and hope for a swift resolution. Sincerely, J.K.

Subject: Urgent Flight Delay Complaint Yeshareg Gebreselassie [redacted] Eagle Trail Drive Houston, TX [redacted] [redacted] To Whom It May Concern: I am writing to address the distressing experience I encountered with Turkish Airlines during my recent flight. On April 10, [redacted], I was scheduled to board Turkish Airlines flight number 34 from Houston to Istanbul, connecting to Addis Ababa to visit my ailing mother after nearly two decades of separation. Despite arriving promptly at the airport, I was informed of multiple delays leading to a departure time well past the initial schedule. The lack of communication during this time was particularly concerning. Subsequently, I missed my connecting flight in Istanbul and remain stranded. While a dinner voucher was provided on April 11th, no provisions were made for today, leaving me without necessary funds for food and medication. The resulting delay has not only disrupted my plans to be with my ailing mother but has also caused emotional distress. Given the circumstances and the contractual obligation for a timely and communicated transit, I believe I am entitled to compensation. I kindly request two first-class round-trip international tickets, a first-class ticket for my return flight on May 8th, and a compensation of $[redacted]. I am anticipating your prompt response within the next 10 days to reach a resolution on this matter. Failure to do so may result in further actions. Warm Regards, Yeshareg Gebreselassie

I purchased a round-trip ticket from Cotonou to Dubai for January with a departure date of 31st, and a return set for April 30th, [redacted]. Due to changes in my visa status and a busy schedule, I won't be using the return leg. I've requested a refund, but the email I received directed me to contact the booking agent, whose details I don't have. I kindly ask for assistance in obtaining a refund for the return ticket. My ticket number is [redacted][redacted]. I hope Turkish Airlines can assist with processing the refund for the unused portion of the ticket. Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Hello, my brother Bulent Uygur and I, Zerrin U. Langer, have upcoming travel plans on your June 2, [redacted], flight # 78 from Miami to Istanbul. We purchased our tickets a while back through Travelocity but recently realized we are unable to reserve seats. I am a 75-year-old handicapped woman who will need assistance from my brother during the trip. I will be checking in a walker as baggage, using a wheelchair at the gate, and boarding the aircraft with a cane. I kindly request your assistance in securing two aisle seats across from each other so that my brother can aid me during the journey. Our return flight is on June 21 on flight # 77. If we had known about the seat selection limitation, we would have bought tickets directly from Turkish Airlines. We believe sitting in a window or middle seat would be inconvenient for both us and other passengers. Please let me know if you need any more information. Thank you for your help in advance.

I would like a prompt resolution regarding the incident that took place. My bag was not just subjected to a security check, but rather a theft. The individuals not only took the two bottles of wine and one bottle of tequila that were inside, but also stole my batteries, jacket valued at €[redacted], and various other items worth around €[redacted] in total. Despite the presence of my CBD pen, they left it behind and took the rest of my valuables. I am demanding a swift explanation and a refund for the stolen items. If necessary actions are not taken promptly, I will consider escalating the matter. I have documentation of the incident and am prepared to take further steps if needed.

I urgently need a response to an incident where my bag was robbed. Besides taking two bottles of wine and one bottle of tequila, the thieves also stole my batteries, jacket, and other items totaling €[redacted]. It's baffling that they left behind my CBD pen but took the most valuable items. I demand an explanation and a refund promptly, as this situation is unacceptable. If not resolved swiftly, I will escalate this matter further.
