Hello, My name is Jihad Ali, I am from Israel, and currently in Switzerland on a trip. Today, I received an email from AnadoluJet informing me of a change in my scheduled flight from Antalya to Israel on the 19th of August (TK7668), which was moved to Istanbul at 17:30 on the same day. This is unacceptable. I had booked with Turkish Airlines, not AnadoluJet. I have tried calling several times but have not received any answers. Please contact me on my private phone at +[redacted]83 as soon as possible. I hope this was just a mistake, and if not, please change all my flights from Zurich to Tel Aviv to avoid being stuck in Turkey for a day. Best regards, Jihad

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to you regarding a concerning experience I had while traveling with Turkish Airlines on June 23rd. My first flight from LAX to Istanbul was delayed by 2 hours, leading to a tight connection for my flight to Tehran, my final destination. Despite my efforts to make the connection, I missed my flight due to the delays and the long distance between arrival and departure gates. As a 74-year-old, having to run with my carry-on luggage was challenging, and upon reaching the gate, I was informed that the plane had already departed. The airline rebooked me on two subsequent flights, both of which were canceled, resulting in me being stranded until the next day. Eventually, I was informed that to secure a seat on a new flight, I had to pay $[redacted] in cash or by credit card. Feeling pressured and with no alternative, I made the payment to continue my journey. The overall handling of the situation by the airline staff was disrespectful, and I strongly believe that the circumstances were beyond my control. Hello team, I am reaching out to report that Turkish Airlines has misplaced my baggage. My flight details are as follows: TK1630 from Munich to Istanbul and TK017 from Istanbul to Toronto. I am currently in Canada as a student, and it has been three days since my luggage went missing. The bag is essential as it contains important belongings and clothes I urgently need. Unfortunately, my flight from Cairo to Munich was canceled, worsening the situation. Although I have insurance, the value of the items in my luggage exceeds the coverage. Dear Turkish Airlines, I am writing to inform you of my missing luggage. I am missing a greenish-brown cabin bag and a white bag with patches of black and red. I flew from Dusseldorf International Airport to Nsimalen International Airport in Yaounde on August 8, [redacted]. Upon arrival, I discovered my luggage was missing. I filed a report at Nsimalen International Airport under reference NSITK19870 and was advised to contact the number [redacted]17 regarding my missing bags. Despite visiting the airport and the Turkish Airlines main office multiple times in Yaounde, I have had no luck in locating my belongings. Frustratingly, I was forced to return to the Netherlands without my luggage. This situation has been disturbing and inconvenient for me. I had booked a flight from Munich to Mombasa with a stop in Istanbul on December 18, [redacted], flight number TK [redacted], and a return flight from Mombasa to Istanbul on January 8, [redacted], flight TK [redacted]. Unfortunately, both flights were canceled by the airline. Even though the entire journey was confirmed, I am unable to start my holiday. I have decided to cancel the trip and request a refund for the money paid.

Dear Customer Service, I am writing this email to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service provided by Turkish Airlines and the GOTOGATE ticketing agency they have authorized. On 05/08/[redacted], I purchased a ticket for a flight from Gatwick to Istanbul to Sofia, with a ticket number [redacted][redacted], through the GOTOGATE agency. However, on 16/07/[redacted], Turkish Airlines sent me an email to cancel the flight. Since then, I have not received the £[redacted].99 refund for the ticket. Despite contacting customer service in Istanbul and London multiple times, I have not received any information regarding my refund. GOTOGATE mentioned they are waiting for the refund from Turkish Airlines. Dear Sir, Yesterday, during my daughter CAMILA ALCANTARA's trip from Caracas to Paris with a layover in Istanbul in business class, she was unable to board the flight due to the Johnson & Johnson vaccine not meeting the French Government's 28-day requirement, although it had been 26 days. Despite providing a negative PCR test from Sunday afternoon, she was denied boarding, allegedly due to overbooking. Subsequently, I was forced to pay over one thousand US Dollars for a new flight. I plan to pursue legal action against your company in France and Venezuela. I am not seeking financial compensation, rather requesting her original ticket to be reinstated and the change fee refunded to my credit card. I anticipate a prompt response to address this matter. Last Saturday, on 28 August, I missed my flight from Istanbul, Turkey to Porto, Portugal due to long queues at the Istanbul airport. Despite arriving over 2 hours early as recommended, I spent most of my time at the check-in and passport control areas. With my child, we used the priority line at passport control but experienced delays with no proper control in place. By the time we reached the gate, it was already closed, roughly 15 minutes late. Turkish Airlines staff suggested buying new tickets for a flight to Lisbon on the same day at an excessive cost. We ended up purchasing tickets for 7 people, nearly [redacted] euros each for 6 tickets and around [redacted] euros for the last ticket from another airline. We felt compelled to pay a high price for a service we couldn't use due to circumstances beyond our control. The airline's handling of the situation and the high prices charged left us feeling taken advantage of. I hope Turkish Airlines will reach out to address this and rectify the situation fairly. Additionally, both the gate agent and the employee assisting with ticket purchases displayed rude behavior, raising their voices and making insensitive remarks during the stressful ordeal. Thank you.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the services provided by Turkish Airlines. During my recent trip, my family and I experienced a significant inconvenience. Upon arrival at our destination, our baggage was delayed, causing us to wait for over 3 hours in a stressful situation. When our luggage finally arrived on the next flight, we discovered that they were severely damaged. Furthermore, we missed our connecting flight to Dublin due to a delay in the initial flight from Tehran to Istanbul. The airline staff were unhelpful and the whole ordeal left us stranded at the Istanbul airport for more than 5 hours before being transferred to a hotel. To add to our troubles, we were informed last minute that our Covid tests were about to expire, forcing us to pay for additional tests at the airport. This unexpected delay also led to financial losses, including a missed taxi reservation and a prepaid driving lesson. I am seeking compensation for the expenses incurred as a result of Turkish Airlines' poor service.

Hello, I wanted to reach out for some assistance. My 12-year-old son, who has autism and a deep love for planes, spends hours at Manchester Airport watching them come in. I was hoping to inquire if it would be possible to send him a letter or some form of appreciation for his support. It would truly make his day, year, and mean everything to him. Good day, On August 26th, I tried to change my Istanbul to London flight on August 27th to Sofia, Bulgaria through the call center. Initially, I was told to pay an additional £19.80, but another employee informed me I needed to make a manual payment after my reservation was confirmed and my ticket was approved. This conversation took place around 10 p.m., and I did not receive any further communication throughout the night. I called multiple times, each time speaking to different employees who recalculated the costs. The final person I spoke to was confident that my reservation had been made. However, upon arriving at Istanbul airport, I realized there had been a mistake. I was told a different ticket had been issued, and I was asked to purchase a more expensive ticket to Sofia instead. The stress and panic I experienced in that moment were indescribable as I needed to stay in Sofia for 10 days with a friend before returning to London for work. I was given incorrect information since on August 26th, I could have purchased a cheaper ticket to Sofia. While my friend paid 2,[redacted].59 Turkish Lira for the Bodrum-Istanbul-Sofia flight, I paid 2,[redacted].10 Turkish Lira for just the Istanbul-Sofia leg. If I had not gone to the airport early, I would have fallen victim to the mishap of the call center employees. I kindly request a refund for the excess amount I paid for the Istanbul-Sofia ticket, as I could have purchased it at half the price if your call center employees had not falsely assured me that my new ticket was arranged. Ticket Number: SLR2CW. I made a booking with Turkish Airlines on July 21st through PH Travel Agent. I paid £[redacted].53 to the airline and £[redacted].47 to the agent. I confirmed the payment. However, a month later, Turkish Airlines deducted £[redacted] from my bank account without my knowledge. The only person who had my card details is the agent, Amber, whom I spoke to over the phone. I believed I had already paid for my ticket. I am puzzled by this additional charge and need clarification immediately. I have informed my bank and blocked my card. It's vital that this issue is resolved promptly, and I am concerned about how the airline obtained my details since I have never directly transacted with them. Dear Customer Service, I encountered an issue with my pre-booked and paid seats being reassigned to other passengers without my consent. Despite booking the seats a month in advance, I was shocked to find out at the airport that our seats had been reallocated. Not only were our original paid seats given away, but the new seats assigned to us were also at the back of the plane. This situation is unacceptable as I specifically selected and paid for those seats in advance. I am willing to provide the invoice for the reserved seats if necessary. I kindly request a refund as I was unable to occupy the seats I had initially reserved on the flight. This morning I was attempting to select seats for my flight using reservation number MEPXEW and ticket number [redacted][redacted]. Unfortunately, there was an issue while paying for 2 seats, and I used my credit card. I did not receive a confirmation and do not know the amount charged to my card. An error message appeared on the screen during the process. Upon checking my email, I discovered a new reservation TFMWEN with additional tickets to GENEVA, which I did not intend to purchase as I only needed a one-way ticket. I am unsure of the charge on my credit card and would like the erroneous transaction canceled immediately and the amount refunded. She is preparing to travel to TRNC next week to begin her undergraduate program at CIU. Her final flight will be with Turkish Airlines from Istanbul to TRNC. I would like to inquire whether it is necessary for a passenger holding a valid Turkish Transit Visa to acquire the "OK To Board (OTB)" in order to travel from Istanbul to TRNC Ercan Airport. Our understanding is that the Transit Visa serves as the official document for entry into the country, enabling students to apply for a TRNC Student Residence Permit.
