I have been using TurboTax for over 10 years. I downloaded the [redacted] version onto my computer where I had the [redacted] version installed. When prompted to transfer my file, I entered my password but it was not accepted (even though I had it written down). Trying to reset it led to a blank security question. I went through the account recovery process, set a new password, and provided a copy of my [redacted] PDF. Despite resolving the password issue, I returned later to find the new password was still considered incorrect. Are the passwords set during account recovery different from the ones used in the desktop version? If I finish my taxes in the account recovery section, will the password information transfer so that it works regardless of how I access my [redacted] TurboTax file?

I am unable to download the Turbotax package I purchased. I placed the order using a different email address than my usual one and I am unable to recall the password. The order was made through [redacted] instead of my regular email [redacted] The order number is TAR20A[redacted]15 and was made on November 16, [redacted], for $77.28 for TurboTax Advantage Deluxe for [redacted] MAC. I possess the license code as well. Despite being on the phone with multiple representatives since 4:48 this afternoon, the poor cell service causes the calls to drop, making it impossible for them to reconnect. I have received nine codes via text, but they only lead me to the login page without an option to reset my password. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

I am writing regarding case number [redacted]12. On Sunday, March 14, [redacted], I tried to e-file my federal return and two states using Turbotax Premier that I purchased on Amazon. Despite paying Turbotax $50.00 to e-file through their program, I encountered an issue with error code "IND-[redacted]-04 - The primary taxpayer's AGI or Self-select PIN from last year does not match IRS records." I am confident in my [redacted] AGI and self-select PIN, as I successfully e-filed in [redacted]. I attempted to resolve the problem through tech support but was unsuccessful after numerous tries. Ultimately, I had to resort to mailing my returns. I have reached out to Turbotax for a refund of the $50.00 e-filing fee but have not yet received a response. As a loyal customer of Turbotax for 15 years, I kindly request assistance in processing my refund. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am encountering an issue regarding my tax returns for [redacted] and [redacted]. There seems to be a discrepancy on Form 1040SR US tax return for seniors, specifically on lines 34b and d. The problem arose because I received a refund in [redacted] but owed money to the IRS in [redacted]. My banking and routing numbers appear obscured on the [redacted] return, which might be why the IRS only considered my [redacted] filing, leading to me not receiving my stimulus payment. I believe the IRS should review my [redacted] return as well. It's puzzling why the IRS doesn't have my banking information on file despite successfully processing payments previously. I suggest updating the software to avoid blanking out bank details for filers who owe money to prevent such issues with direct deposit users like myself. Your prompt attention to this matter would be appreciated. Thank you, G.G. If you require further details, please inform me.

I purchased Turbo Deluxe to do my taxes using the State of MI forms. However, my daughter, who lives in AR, bought Turbo Tax but was confused about doing her taxes for the first time. She sent me her information, and I completed her taxes on my computer using my Turbo Tax account. Now, I am unable to access her Arkansas State return without an additional payment. Both she and I have license codes and Turbo Tax accounts. Is there a way for me to transfer her tax return to her computer or to get her State forms loaded onto my computer to resolve this issue without an extra fee?

When I use TurboTax Business and try to submit my returns, I get an error message saying, "We're experiencing internet transmission problems. Your transmission didn't go through. Intuit's electronic filing center did not receive your returns. Please try again later. Error 2."
I'm using Microsoft Edge for my software. I have attempted troubleshooting steps such as turning off the firewall, allowing all cookies, and even switching to Chrome, but none of these solutions have worked. I have been attempting to submit my returns since last Thursday without success.
Interestingly, personal returns on regular TurboTax submit without any issues. Can anyone advise on how to resolve this problem?
Thank you,

I recently received my federal income tax refund on my Turbo Debit Card. The IRS stated that I should be receiving $[redacted], with only TurboTax fees deducted. After checking my card, I noticed I was short about $[redacted]. I contacted TurboTax, and they directed me to the IRS. After speaking with an IRS representative, they assured me that they sent the full amount to the bank associated with my TurboTax account. I am awaiting a response from the IRS to resolve this issue as TurboTax claims it's not their fault. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will escalate it further.

I recently bought TurboTax Deluxe on CD from Best Buy. After successfully installing and updating it, I faced an issue where it gets stuck at the "activating" screen without asking for my activation code. I operate on Windows 10 Pro using Firefox and have even disabled Nord VPN to troubleshoot to no avail. I attempted to reach TurboTax tech support but was unable to speak with anyone despite calling multiple numbers. I am considering switching to H&R Block software as a last resort but would really appreciate some assistance from TurboTax to resolve this activation problem.

I recently upgraded to Turbo Tax Self-Employment for additional help. Unfortunately, my experience with customer service was disappointing. The first representative seemed unaware of my concerns and provided minimal assistance before abruptly disconnecting. When I spoke with a CPA, they understood my question but directed me to the online version rather than the mobile app I was using. Despite my efforts, I couldn't access the Turbo Tax online account I needed. The CPA suggested rebooting, which did not resolve the issue, and they also disconnected suddenly. I plan to request a refund for the upgrade due to the unsatisfactory support. It's frustrating that both representatives failed to address my concerns and disconnected without resolving the issues. I have been a loyal Turbo Tax user since the early 1990s and hope to receive a resolution to this matter soon.

I have inputted my information into Form [redacted], and lines 1, 5, 11, and 20 are displaying correctly. However, on Schedule E, only the amount from line 1 is appearing while it should also include amounts from lines 5 and 11. I have confirmed that I used the same settings as last year when using TurboTax [redacted] on a different computer. After encountering the issue, I uninstalled TurboTax [redacted] Home & Business and reinstalled it, which resolved the problem until I reached Schedule K-1. Fortunately, I made a backup copy of the file before proceeding, so I do not have to re-enter all the data. Last year, I faced challenges with the program from Costco, which influenced my decision to download this year's TurboTax due to my laptop lacking a CD drive. Though I encountered some issues, applying the update w_perrelsuperpatch_ttax_2020_200_0100.exe helped me complete my daughter's return successfully, except for the Schedule K-1 dilemma. I appreciate any assistance!

In early March [redacted], my phone and wallet were stolen. Since then, I've been locked out of my TurboTax account for nearly three weeks. Attempted email verification failed, as did using an old phone number from last year's taxes that I no longer have access to. Providing personal information and trying to submit a picture of my driver's license also didn't work as I lost my physical ID with my wallet. The Department of Licensing is backlogged, and I can't get a new ID until April, after taxes are due. Despite having a photo of my license on my phone, I can't meet TurboTax's requirement of taking a new picture in the moment. I face potential trouble accessing my account before the tax deadline, and switching to another service is challenging as my tax history is solely on TurboTax. Urgently seeking assistance before the deadline. Appreciate a prompt reply. Thank you.
Sincerely, Jeyna M. Coyle

I e-filed my tax return on March 1, which was accepted on March 2. I did this to quickly update my address with the IRS and claim the Recovery Rebate for the 2nd stimulus of $[redacted]. Unfortunately, I did not receive that payment as it was sent to my old address on file. It has been 22 days since my refund was accepted, and I just realized that the 3rd stimulus payment will also be sent to the old address on March 26, in 2 days. The old address was a mailing address only, no longer in use since Aug. [redacted]. The USPS does not forward mail or accept address changes for such locations. Unless the IRS updates my information from my tax return, I will miss out on the 3rd stimulus payment as well. I am feeling confused and need help. Can someone assist me in contacting the IRS? What are my options if I do not receive the 3rd payment?

I have set my TurboTax refund to be deposited into my Capital One debit online banking account, as I did not have another account. However, my refund came in two months early and I cannot remember the four-digit PIN I supposedly created for the card they sent me. Since my purse was stolen, I cannot access the account with Capital One. I am now trying to see if it is possible to have the refund sent to a different bank account. This situation has put me in a difficult spot as I need the money to pay bills.

On February 2nd, I purchased TurboTax software download from Target.com. Upon attempting to run the program, I discovered it was incompatible with Windows 7. After navigating to the TurboTax website, I found a page to initiate the refund process. I supplied the necessary information and requested a refund of $54.99. A case number ([redacted]50) was provided. Following several weeks, I checked the status of my refund online using the case number but it was not found. I filled out another refund request and obtained a new case number ([redacted]76). After two weeks, I still had not received the refund. Checking online, the case was marked as "closed." I located a phone number for TurboTax customer service ([redacted]). They informed me my refund was in process and could take up to two weeks, assigning a new case number ([redacted]07). Now, after an additional two weeks, I have not received the refund. Attempting to track the status of the case number led to no results. Repeatedly calling the phone number resulted in a busy signal. Seven weeks later, the refund remains unresolved. Any assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I have yet to receive my Michigan state tax refund. I have checked the website multiple times, and it still says it's under review. I called the Michigan Dept of Treasury, and after going through the prompts, they informed me that my return had not been received. I filed on February 24th under the name Robert Hebel. I am feeling frustrated and stuck in a loop with no clear answers. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I anticipated my taxes to be completed on Friday, March 12th. My tax advisor, Kirsten, informed me that my taxes required a 5-day group evaluation and would be ready by Friday, March 19th. However, after that interaction, I have been unable to reach her. Despite reaching out on several occasions via email, there has been no response. I tried contacting TurboTax customer service through their website, but I also haven't received any reply. This experience is completely different from previous years with TurboTax, where everything was automated and seamless. I am feeling frustrated and let down by the lack of communication and the delay in my tax return.

I have not received my refund and stimulus payments of $[redacted] and $[redacted]. I had used a Capitol One card, and although I provided my ID and card to resolve the issue, they are asking for the account and routing number which I don't have. I am willing to work with you and TurboTax if you can provide me with the necessary information. I have received a text from Capitol One mentioning an account number ending in 17 but I cannot recall the last two digits. I visited the bank with my ID and explained the situation but due to the current circumstances, I was unable to get immediate help. I urgently need access to my money as I am now three months behind on rent. Your assistance in retrieving my stimulus and tax refund would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I noticed that the last part of TurboTax's proposed words was faint and hard to read as I filled out the forms you provided. I understand that Utah's flat tax rate is 4.95%, but based on the tax return you processed for me, it seems they are withholding more than the expected rate. According to my account information, the Utah tax charge is $2,[redacted].00, and I am only receiving a refund of $[redacted].00 despite $2,[redacted].28 being withheld from my W-2. I suspect there may be an issue with how my deductions are being accounted for. Before filing my Federal and Utah tax returns, I need clarification on this discrepancy. My name is Sharon Normoyle.

I am in urgent need of assistance. Last year, my ex-wife's distant relative used TurboTax to file my taxes in [redacted] and I cannot access any of the crucial information. I am facing financial hardship exacerbated by the pandemic. The Division of Unemployment Security requires my [redacted] tax records by tomorrow's deadline, March 31st, [redacted]. Due to delays caused by Covid-19, obtaining these records is critical for my unemployment appeal. I am seeking a way to swiftly obtain a digital copy of my tax documents to send to the Division of Unemployment Security in Missouri. I am open to having it faxed or emailed directly to them or to me for submission. I urgently need help with this matter to meet the deadline. Thank you for your assistance.

Hello, I'm Stephanie E. and I'm using TurboTax for my taxes under the username princesswilly69. I've reached the step where I need to input a card and would like to use the TurboTax card. However, I can't find the option to apply for or use a TurboTax card. Could someone assist me in applying for the TurboTax card separately from filing my taxes? If TurboTax is no longer offering their card and has switched to Credit Karma, I'd like to know how long it will take to receive the card and for the direct deposit to be in my account. I prefer not to use my personal card due to the 21-day wait. Thank you for your help.
