Hello,
I am wondering if Trulia is a reliable platform for contacting agents as a potential buyer. I recently attempted to inquire about a property by clicking the "call" button, and the interaction was unsettling. The woman who answered was hostile and rude. I was simply asking about open houses when she began berating me, thanked me abruptly, spoke over me, and hung up. This was my first experience using Trulia to buy a property, and I am unsure if it is the best option for respectful customer service. All I seek is dignity and respect during this significant investment. The "realtor" in question is Laura Rossinow from Keller Williams in Newton, MA.

To whom it may concern,
I would like to address the incorrect email listed for the rental property at [redacted] Village Drive, Las Cruces, NM. The current email, [redacted], is in fact my mental health clinic email, which should not be associated with this rental listing. As a state-licensed clinic, I am urging for its immediate removal as it has caused no inquiries since its placement. The property in question, Apartment A, should not be misrepresented as a townhouse but accurately described as an unfurnished garden courtyard apartment. To correct this error, please update the contact information to [redacted] and provide the owner's phone number, [redacted], for viewing inquiries. Time is of the essence as we aim to rent out this property by March 7th. Kindly contact me at [redacted] once the necessary corrections have been made and identify the individual responsible for the oversight of using my clinic email, which violates HIPAA regulations.
Sincerely,
Barbarah Wilbanks-Figliola

I have been with Trulia/Zillow since [redacted], but my listings have disappeared. Despite numerous attempts, my sales have not been displayed, and my license number is missing from my profile. When I try to update it, the system cannot validate it, even though it is current. I am frustrated with the lack of support and inability to make necessary changes to my profile. I am disappointed with the lack of improvement despite all the promised changes. Customer service is crucial, and I have struggled to get assistance with my concerns. Some clarity on your current procedures and practices would be greatly appreciated.

I am being contacted by a broker/scammer/repo buyer who possesses a picture of my home along with my first name and P.O. Box address. They are using this information to pressure me into a sale, which I find invasive and unsettling. The fact that this individual is utilizing a picture of my home that is available online without my consent is unacceptable. I am taking steps to report this behavior and put an end to it. I have no affiliation with Trulia, Zillow, or Zendesk, and I do not wish to receive any unsolicited communication or mail. As a senior, I find this situation distressing and disrespectful. I request that the online picture of my home be removed promptly. I have worked hard for my home and do not appreciate being targeted in such a manner. My privacy has been compromised, and I am determined to stop this individual from accessing any more of my personal information. I will be reaching out to them directly while also reporting their actions. If there are other measures you can suggest to assist me in preventing further breaches of my privacy, please advise. It is crucial to me that my personal details are safeguarded and not exploited in any way.

The sales price for [redacted] Goethals Dr Unit H in Richland, WA, was $[redacted],[redacted]. It was sold on January 18, [redacted], not January 29. The correct information can be verified at the Benton County, WA County Assessor Office with Excise #[redacted]. Similarly, there is an issue with the valuation of my own condo at [redacted] Goethals Dr Unit E on Zillow, which is currently overstated at $[redacted],[redacted] when the actual value is closer to $[redacted],[redacted] based on comparable sales data. All units in the complex are identical, yet they are consistently being overvalued by almost 40%, causing problems in the real estate market. Please correct the inaccuracies promptly to reflect the true values. Thank you. M. Kelley

I have come across a rental agency "homes4rentflorida.com that seems to be fraudulent. Numerous complaints have been filed with the BBB against this company, with over 30 reports of them taking application fees deceptively and denying applications despite claiming not to perform credit checks. I visited one of their properties at [redacted] Mystic Ave, New Port Richey, FL. They assured me no credit check was needed, offered to waive the deposit and application fee if I paid the first month's rent immediately. Upon arrival at the property, I discovered it was already rented. Fortunately, I hadn't handed over any money beforehand, and thankfully, someone was present at the property when I arrived, or I could have lost $[redacted].00. I'm reaching out to raise awareness about this company in the hope of preventing others from falling victim to their schemes. Thank you, Terri Caldeell.

I am interested in a property I found on Trulia. After going through several steps on the website, I had to pay $29 for a credit and background check that I thought was for the property owner. However, when I contacted some property owners, they mentioned that they couldn't accept the check from Trulia and had to conduct their own.
I find this situation frustrating as I expected the initial check to suffice. One owner I was keen on hasn't reached out to me despite my application through Trulia's site. I would like a refund of the $29 as the process doesn't seem to have led to any tangible results. When I try to access my credit/background report on my account, I encounter difficulties.
Best regards,
C. Gomez

I recently signed up and completed the $29 payment for a background check on the website. I was impressed with the results. However, when I attempted to apply to more locations within the 30-day period as advertised, I was charged an additional $29, which contradicted the initial offer. Furthermore, some places I applied to contacted me to inform me that the money spent on applications was not authorized, requiring an extra $35 for their process. I am requesting a reversal of the $29 charge on my card. I believe I should be compensated for the hours wasted on the site due to these issues. I have screenshots of the misleading information provided. I have been informed that false advertising is a prevalent issue. Please contact me via phone or email.

Good morning,
I have listed our home as For Sale By Owner on Zillow and Trulia, but the schools are incorrect in the listing. Despite being told they are accurate, we are certain they are not. Our neighborhood, which is only three years old, follows a unique schooling system with Homestead Wakefield ES, Bel Air MS, and Bel Air HS. I worry that potential buyers might be misled by this information. How can we correct the schools listed on our property?
Thank you,
J. T.

I have sent multiple emails without a response and attempted to call, but the service did not allow me to reach a person, causing a lot of frustration. I placed an advertisement on Trulia for a room for rent at 1636th pl. in Long Beach, CA. I now need to edit it, but I can't find the ad. I mistakenly indicated that three people would be living in the unit instead of two, including myself. I need to correct this, but I can't find the ad to make changes. When trying to post a new ad, I was informed that there is already one listed. I need assistance in locating the original ad or deleting it so that I can start over. Thank you for your help! Vee

I am requesting to be contacted via email at [redacted] regarding the removal of my property that was purchased in [redacted] from the internet. The photos and property description are still appearing on Trulia, and I am concerned about our privacy and security. I have successfully claimed the property on Zillow and removed the information and photos but have been unable to do so on Trulia. I have seen reports online indicating that Zillow has acquired Trulia.

Hello Trulia Customer Service,
I kindly request the removal of all inaccurate listing prices under the address: 15 Ashley Hall Drive, Bluffton, SC for the year [redacted]. Various erroneous historical prices stemming from unauthorized agents between [redacted] to [redacted] are still being displayed, with only the April [redacted] purchase being an accurate entry. The clutter of inconsistent listing prices is hindering current selling efforts of this luxury home.
Could you please clean up the unnecessary, non-legally binding historical information to streamline the listing for accuracy? Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated by the owner and the real estate agent involved.
Thank you and we look forward to a successful marketing campaign with correct information.
Best regards,
Owner and Realtor Agent

Kindly remove the advertisement for the property today, along with any other properties managed by our company. I hope going forward you improve the accuracy of your listings to avoid causing emotional distress to potential renters. Best regards, Jeanette.

I have been attempting for two weeks to get the listing corrected, but despite my efforts, it has only worsened. As the listing agent for [redacted] Graceland Trail, Elizabethtown, KY [redacted], I need the photos updated on Trulia. The property was initially listed by the owner and transferred to me at $[redacted],[redacted] on the Heart of Kentucky Association of Realtors' MLS. Unfortunately, the current listing still shows the previous owner's photos and incorrectly displays the old price of $[redacted],[redacted]. This error is harming the home sale process. Please rectify this issue promptly. Judy T., Central Kentucky Realtors, [redacted].

I rented a room on Trulia in May [redacted] without issues initially. However, upon trying to set up cable, I discovered the person who rented it to me wasn't the actual landlord. Subsequently, I was asked to pay for utilities while others weren't, and was given extra responsibilities. After requesting a written lease and the landlord's last name, I was served a 3-day notice to vacate. I want to alert others about a person named Jenny and advise caution renting at [redacted] Mateo Ave in Daly City. Please beware of similar situations.

I would like to report a company that advertised on Trulia. We applied for a house located at [redacted] Milan Hills NE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico [redacted], following all their rules, but they denied us after charging a $[redacted] application fee. This situation has become a legal matter, and it's important to expose these companies that take advantage of applicants by collecting fees without legitimate reasons. It seems like this particular company is using the property as bait for numerous applicants. Be cautious of engaging with them.
