My sister and I made a hotel reservation last night, but upon arrival, we were informed that there was an overbooking issue through Trivago. The hotel staff advised us to have you contact them to confirm the overbooking and arrange for a refund. The reservation is under the name Jameson Childs, and the account is linked to [redacted], although I no longer have access to that email. The hotel in question is the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Airport. Due to the situation, we had to spend the night in our car in an unsafe area as the funds set aside for accommodation were tied up.

I arrived to pick up my car rental only to find out it had broken down along the way. I was charged an additional fee which was not disclosed during the reservation. I requested to cancel and be refunded. As a single mother who is homeless with children, I kindly ask for a prompt refund of my money.

I made a reservation for a one-night stay for two at The Masons Arms in Branscombe, Devon, from June 29th to June 30th, [redacted]. Unfortunately, I entered my email address incorrectly as [redacted] and have not received a receipt. During a recent trip to Boston booked through Traveluro, my experience with the hotel was disappointing. Initially scheduled for a late check-in due to a flight delay, I encountered issues upon arrival at the Sheraton in Needham. Despite being reassured by Traveluro that the hotel was prepared for our late arrival and to contact Katherine at the front desk if needed, we were told no rooms were available. Surprisingly, there was no staff member named Katherine at the front desk. Traveluro's excuses and lack of assistance led to us securing accommodations at another hotel 40 minutes away, at our own cost. Despite requesting a refund from Traveluro and being met with rudeness, promises of action were made but not fulfilled. As a loyal customer who has booked with your company multiple times, I am disappointed by the unprofessionalism of Traveluro and seek your help in resolving the issue promptly. I made a reservation through Trivago for Comfort Suites located at [redacted] Ventura Drive in Amarillo, Texas. The information on the website indicated that the hotel was "pet friendly," so I mentioned I would be bringing a small dog in the comments. However, upon arrival, I was informed that pets were not allowed. The hotel mentioned that they were unable to refund me the room charge as it was processed through your platform. This issue with pet policies not aligning with what is stated on your site has apparently occurred before, with the hotel trying to address it to no avail.
I kindly request a refund of $95.63 to be processed back to my card.
Currently, we are checked in at Comfort Suites, located at 12 Western Plaza.

I was directed to book a stay at Temecula Creek Inn in Temecula, California through super.com by Trivago for a reasonable price. However, when I tried to make the payment, the transaction did not go through despite having sufficient funds in my account and receiving confirmation that nothing had been charged. To my surprise, I later discovered unauthorized charges totaling $61 on one of my cards. I am seeking an immediate reversal of these charges. It is concerning that such misleading practices could occur.

I visited the hotel I reserved via Trivago and it was terrible. I am shocked that it is listed on your platform.
I have already canceled my reservation. My concern is that when making the booking, Trivago asked for my complete credit card information, including the 3-digit security code. Now, this dubious hotel has access to my card details and can charge it as they please.
Is this standard practice? What steps can I take to prevent unauthorized charges?

My spouse attempted to book a hotel through Trivago, but we had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. I promptly called and canceled the reservation within 10 to 15 minutes back in June. Despite receiving an email confirming the cancellation, unfortunately, I somehow lost it on my computer. Regrettably, I was billed $[redacted].00 for a stay we didn't utilize. As a retired individual, I am in urgent need of that refunded to my bank account. Despite my month-long efforts, the lack of customer service has been incredibly frustrating. I wouldn't recommend Trivago to anyone based on my current struggles to speak with a representative and receive the refund I am owed.

I used my email address [redacted] to book a hotel through Trivago and received an ALGOTELS receipt #[redacted]. The problem is that I agreed to a price of $[redacted].00 CDN but my credit card was charged $[redacted].80. Despite reaching out to Trivago three times for customer service, I have only received email responses from GetHuman and the issue remains unresolved. This experience has made me decide not to use Trivago again and to return to Hotels.com where there is better customer service. I am disappointed in the lack of customer service and feel that I need to inform others about the poor service I received.

I booked a hotel with Trivago for two nights at the Grand Stay Hotel & Conference in Apple Valley, MN. I used my credit card for payment and selected the dates for arrival on Monday, August 28th, and departure on Wednesday, August 30th. I have not received any confirmation email as of 10:00 Central time. I contacted the hotel directly, but they have no record of my reservation under my name, Tom Horman, from Galena, IL. I'm unsure if the reservation went through or if there was an error.

Yesterday, on August 11, [redacted], I made a reservation with Trivago for the Econo Lodge Hotel in Virginia Beach for today, August 12. When we arrived at 7 pm, the mattress and bed were stained yellow and with blood, apart from the bed being broken, it sounded like a rusty hinge. I requested a room change, but there was none available. I requested to speak with the manager for an immediate refund of my money, but it was not possible because they will only be here tomorrow on Sunday. This hotel is a mess. I need the full refund of the charge on my credit card, which is over $[redacted].

On Friday, August 11th, I made a reservation via Trivago for Saturday the 12th, checking out on August 13th at 11 am. Arriving at the ECONO LODGE INN & SUITES in Virginia Beach at 7 pm, we entered room [redacted]. The bed made a terrible squeaking noise like a rusty hinge (I have videos). When I opened the bed, I found yellowed, old, dirty, and bloody sheets (photos and videos taken). Lifting the sheet revealed a dirty and bloody mattress (more visual evidence available). I spoke with the receptionist requesting a room change, which was not possible. I asked for a refund and to speak with the manager on Sunday the 13th. Instead, new sheets were given, and despite being new, they were also soiled. My wife and I uncomfortably slept in the car. I conversed with the manager, who offered apologies but only mentioned contacting Trivago for a refund of $[redacted].00 plus $6.00 in property taxes. waiting for Trivago to address this issue with the hotel.

Around August 9, I made a reservation on your website through Agoda. The booking was for my elderly father, and I provided his email for confirmation as he struggles with the internet. I used my credit card for payment. Despite the hotel confirming his reservation, my father did not receive any information. Due to an accident, he couldn't go on the trip. Attempts to cancel were unsuccessful as Agoda cited the email discrepancy. After contacting Agoda's customer service and getting my father to email them too, the issue persisted. Agoda's repeated refusal to assist due to the email mismatch has left me frustrated. Unless resolved, I may have to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Any help or resolution from Agoda would be greatly appreciated as I do not wish to book with them in the future.

I need help confirming if my booking at Hotel Riu Palace Mexico, under the name of Brian D., from 11/26 to 12/1, was made through Trivago.
