Hello, I'm Anna Alia. Yesterday, I booked a hotel on your website called London Central Waterloo for the dates 31st of December to 1st of January. Money has been charged for the booking, but I haven't received a confirmation number or any message. I've tried to contact the hotel, but the phone line is constantly busy. I would like to know if the hotel is indeed booked or what steps I should take to get more information.

We made a reservation for 7 nights at The Blue Orchids Hotel in Barbados from 23/1/22 to 30/1/22 through Alpharooms, as advertised on Trivago. Recently, we found out that Alpharooms has stopped operating. We have already paid £[redacted].50 to Alpharooms and are unsure if the payment reached the hotel or if our booking is still valid. We have flights booked from the UK but are uncertain about the status of our hotel reservation. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I made a reservation through Traveleuro, a Trivago travel partner, for a stay at the Hilton Clearwater Beach on December 22nd to December 23rd. The booking was under the name Melissa Dunn. I did not receive a confirmation, but after reaching out to the hotel, they confirmed the reservation. I called the hotel on Sunday to verify the booking, and I was shocked to learn that Traveleuro had canceled my reservation without my permission and had not refunded me. I need answers on why this occurred and where my credit is.

I visited Rodeway Inn in Lemon Grove two nights ago, and a staff member informed me that the direct rate was $[redacted] per night plus a $50 deposit. I asked if I could check online for lower prices on a third-party website, which she allowed. However, when I tried to contact the front desk today, the line was busy. So, I made an online reservation, assuming it would be fine as previously allowed. When I spoke to the man at the front desk, he seemed upset and demanded I come down, even though I wasn't ready. I quickly got ready and explained the situation upon arrival, but he insisted I remove my belongings, check out by 3, forfeit my deposit, and pay a new one upon check-in. Feeling unfairly treated for following previous advice, I'm now outside with all my belongings without a place to stay, feeling distressed since I now rely on hotel stays after a recent breakup.

I am reaching out regarding case [redacted]6. I have attempted to contact your customer service for assistance with a warranty claim as stated on your packaging. However, the RMA option on the website led me to screensaver instructions instead of screen protector support, resulting in multiple transfers and unhelpful chat interactions with two disconnected agents. I also encountered difficulties submitting a survey. Within a year, I bought two screen protectors that both cracked in the same area. Despite providing photos of the damage and the requested barcode from the packaging, I do not possess a physical receipt from Apple Store #R291 in Altamonte Springs, Fl. I can provide my Discover Transaction details as proof of purchase. I registered the product upon the Apple agent’s recommendation for the warranty.

On Friday, the 29th, I had made a reservation through Trivago for the Iris Hotel. I used a temporary prepaid credit card online because my original card had been stolen. However, when I arrived at the hotel, they refused to let me stay there because of the temporary credit card. They wanted to charge $[redacted] US dollars for the stay, but wouldn't accept the temporary card for check-in. I called the same night to request a refund to my approved card as agreed upon, but I have yet to receive it. I'm really struggling financially and ended up spending more than planned due to being charged on the card. I had to spend additional money on a different room, leaving me in a tight spot financially with late fees accumulating on other bills. My son, S.W., was traveling in Arkansas and needed urgent accommodation due to an unsafe situation with his travel group. I quickly searched for a hotel near Bentonville for him to stay until his flight. After carefully inputting the dates on the website twice, as I am meticulous, I paid for the reservation and sent him the itinerary. Regarding booking number [redacted], I found a reservation for the Ramada By Wyndham Seatac Airport North on your website. I confirmed the booking for 8/13/[redacted] to 8/14/[redacted] for $[redacted]. Upon arrival, I found the hotel in a chaotic state due to renovation work, with dust and dirt causing discomfort in the lobby. The hotel requested a $[redacted] damage deposit, which seemed unreasonable given the lobby's condition. After attempting to cancel with the hotel, I was directed to Traveluro, who provided a cancellation number [redacted]64. Traveluro later informed me the refund was denied due to lack of email confirmation from the hotel. Despite contacting Ramada and Wyndham customer service, the issue remains unresolved, with each party blaming the other. Disappointed by the lack of cooperation, I have escalated this matter to Chase bank for investigation as a fraudulent charge. I made a reservation through Trivago for the Tradewinds Resort on Feb 16th for June 1 - June 4. My name is Mark M. I received a confirmation on the same day. When I contacted Tradewinds recently to inquire about upgrading my room, I was informed that there were two reservations under my name for the same dates, with the second one made on March 1st. I accessed htel-kss.com and participated in promoting Thiago company for a few days. However, on the last day, the deposit amount unexpectedly increased, making it unaffordable for me. I selected a hotel through your website, but upon booking, I was redirected to a different site. The hotel turned out to be Hotel Belair instead of the advertised Howard Johnson's. We felt unsafe at the Hotel Belair as advised by our driver not to go out at night.
The room was unclean, lacking towels, blankets, and any breakfast options. Additionally, loud music disturbed our peace soon after arrival. The description mentioned a trendy property near Florida Mall, but the reality was disappointing.
We decided not to stay and moved to another hotel due to the unacceptable conditions. I am disappointed with Trivago for featuring such a place. I am seeking a full refund of $[redacted].88 for this unpleasant experience.

I had a guest arrive at my bed and breakfast with a reservation for one night on 22/04/[redacted] using booking reference [redacted]91. Regrettably, I did not have any record of the booking and was fully booked that day. The customer, David L., mentioned that £42.56 had been deducted from his account for the stay. Hello to all guests, both new and returning. The hotel, while classified as a 3-star establishment, boasts one of the finest locations on the eastern beaches, making it truly special. The rooms are clean and of high quality, especially those offering beach views. The food served is varied and of good quality. Most of the staff exhibit a commendable attitude, however, there is one employee in the terrace bar area named Indira who falls short in customer service skills. Indira's behavior is aggressive and threatening towards guests, which is unacceptable. I believe the hotel management should address this issue promptly. Indira, the bar captain, needs to be transferred to a position where she doesn't interact directly with clients as she lacks the necessary skills to deal with guests of diverse backgrounds effectively. I felt uncomfortable and threatened by her actions, leading me to decide not to return or recommend this hotel. I plan to report this incident to the tourism department and the hotel review platform. Thank you to all the other staff members who provided excellent care.
