I am extremely disappointed with Travelocity. They canceled my cruise booking for four people, which I had paid for in January. Despite me never cancelling the booking, they refunded only 20% of my money and claimed I did it. There is no evidence to support their claim. It's frustrating that such a large company is not taking responsibility for this mistake and refuses to compensate me. This ordeal has not only cost me money but also ruined my vacation plans. 😡😡

Dear Travelocity Customer Service,
On June 2, [redacted], I made a second hotel reservation due to the unsatisfactory condition of the initial hotel we booked. Realizing the second booking was too far away, I promptly called to cancel it within an hour. A Travelocity agent contacted the Quality Inn and assured me they would follow up with the property manager by Monday to finalize the cancellation, with a resolution expected within 72 hours.
Subsequent calls on June 8th and June 9th revealed that the reservation was not canceled as promised by the agents, who acknowledged the error and mentioned the need to review call recordings. Despite being informed that a refund for the second night might be possible, my calls to Travelocity on the 15th suggested that the property had to process the refund due to the lack of cancellation.
This issue now lies with Travelocity, not the property. When I spoke with ARCI on the 9th, he claimed to be the manager and stated that there was no record of my cancellation request, despite there being call recordings. Though emotions ran high during our conversation, being abruptly disconnected by ARCI was unprofessional.
My frustration and disappointment with Travelocity are immense. I have been a loyal customer for years and am puzzled as to why I am being held accountable for Travelocity's oversight. Please assist me in resolving this matter promptly.

I reserved a rental car for May 29th in Morelia, Mexico through your company with a "Budget" Economy booking. However, upon arrival, I was required to pay an additional fee of $[redacted] for a security deposit and $13 per day for insurance. Apparently, the insurance purchased through your company was not valid in Mexico as claimed by the rental agency. Can I please request a refund of the $[redacted] I initially paid through your service?

On June 3, we traveled from Phoenix to Burlington. However, we were incorrectly billed for two flights when we only took one. I believe a booking error led to charges for two flights per person, totaling four charges instead of two. We are seeking refunds for the two incorrect charges. If we had booked directly with American Airlines, this issue would not have occurred due to their software preventing such mistakes. On February 26th, I booked a round trip to NYC for my wife and me. My credit card statement shows two charges of $[redacted].41 for the round trips and a third charge of $[redacted].40 under the identification [redacted]. Although I reserved a rental car through AVIS and a room at Casa Azul near JFK airport simultaneously, the additional $[redacted].40 is not detailed on my bill. Lately, an extra charge from AVIS appeared on my credit card, which I believe to be a mistake and require a refund.

I was assigned a room with a door that doesn't lock, no TV remote, missing amenities like pots and pans, and a faulty telephone. The staff at the front desk, Colby, tried to switch my room three times, encountering issues with jammed doors, occupied rooms, and a storage space in need of repair. I'm disappointed with the situation and will be relocating to another hotel. I am requesting a refund for my stay.

I made a reservation via Travelocity using my phone for a room at Double Tree Hotel in Newark, NJ near the airport. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the hotel had no record of my booking despite me receiving a confirmation email with a charge of $[redacted].44. As a result, we did not stay there. Strangely, I also have a charge from Travelodge for $[redacted].48 for that same night, which we also did not use. We did end up staying at Rodewsy Inn for $[redacted].85. Curiously, my phone calendar shows a reservation made through Travelocity for July 27-28 that I did not authorize. I have already reported my card stolen, but the credit card company suggested disputing the charges with Travelocity. Thank you.

I made a reservation via Travelocity on my phone for a room at a DoubleTree Hotel near Newark Airport in NJ. I had a trip planned to El Salvador on Sunday and made a reservation at Acantilados hotel through Travelocity with itinerary number [redacted][redacted]. Unfortunately, my flight got canceled, and prior to that, the hotel contacted me three weeks in advance saying they couldn't guarantee my stay due to a payment issue. After failed attempts to charge my card, they asked me to pay using a WhatsApp link and called me continuously. The flight got canceled twice due to bad weather, leaving me unable to retrieve my luggage due to a catastrophe at Newark airport. The hotel refuses to refund any amount, citing a need to pay Travelocity. They were not supposed to contact me, and I am bewildered how they obtained my phone number. I did not stay at the hotel, yet I've been charged around $[redacted] without any possibility of a refund or credit.

During my recent stay at your hotel with itinerary number [redacted], I encountered numerous issues with my room. The phone and one of the TVs were not working, but the most concerning problem was that the door could not lock. After attempting to switch rooms, I faced additional problems - one room was already occupied, another had a jammed door that even the night desk clerk couldn't open, and the third room appeared to be a dirty storage unit. Due to these unacceptable conditions, I had to cancel my reservation. I am requesting a refund for the two nights I did not stay at your hotel. I booked flights through Travelocity # [redacted][redacted] for a trip from SFO to ORD, ORD to LGA, LGA to BGR on June 28-29, [redacted]. The SFO to ORD leg went well, but the ORD to LGA flight via United got canceled, causing us to miss the LGA to BGR leg on Delta. I typed out a lengthy explanation only to reach the end and be asked for a $5 fee to file a complaint. My flight details are as follows: confirmation #[redacted][redacted]. The flight was changed, causing me to miss an important celebration. Originally departing from ORD at 7:00 PM and arriving at JFK at 10:50 PM, the revised schedule has the departure at 8:00 PM and arrival at JFK at 11:50 PM, leaving me only 5 minutes to catch my connecting flight to Ghana. The celebration in Ghana is from Saturday morning, July 15th, until Sunday, July 16th. Unfortunately, the next available flight is not until 2:15 PM on Saturday, July 15th, arriving in Ghana on Sunday, July 16th at 7:05 PM. I was informed I could get a refund for the outgoing flight, but not the return flight, which I find unfair given the circumstances. Missing out on family festivities in Ghana due to this airline change is very disappointing.

Our hotel experience last night was disappointing. The room we checked into was unclean with standing water in the tub. Additionally, the pool was out of order during our stay. To our dismay, the outside doors, which should have required a key for entry, were unlocked, compromising safety. Given that we had children with us, we were particularly worried about our well-being. Despite attempting to find alternative accommodations on short notice Friday evening upon discovering the hotel's state, we regrettably checked out Saturday morning. We kindly request a refund for our booking.

I am writing to inform you that due to a recent serious injury in Prishtine, Kosovo, I am in a lot of discomfort with a large lump in my groin area. After seeking medical attention at an emergency clinic, I have been diagnosed with a "Hernia Inguinalis lat dex" and am scheduled to visit the Prishtine Hospital on the morning of 18 August. The doctor has advised against taking any flights until after further medical evaluation post-surgery.

On May 24, [redacted], Travelocity sent me an email regarding my refund request for a canceled trip with flight number [redacted][redacted] and airline confirmation WVXVZI. The email instructed me to click a link to request a refund, which I completed the same day. It mentioned that due to the high volume of COVID-related cancellations, it could take up to 12 weeks or more depending on the airline.
However, on October 7, [redacted], upon reviewing my travel documents, I discovered that I never received the refund from Travelocity. I kindly request assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you in advance.

I was informed that my carrier was Virgin Atlantic when I purchased my ticket, but now I am being told that I will be flying back via BA when I want to extend my stay in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos. My itinerary does not reflect this change, instead, it shows Delta as the carrier.
I would like to extend my stay by two weeks, departing on the 20th of November instead of the originally booked 27th of October. I understand that there will be a fee of $[redacted] plus $30 charged by Travelocity for this change. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

We have a trip booked with Travelocity on Frontier Airlines for Thursday, October 26, returning on Monday, October 30 to visit our daughter in Denver.
