I have a TomTom GO Basic, and when I turn on the device, it displays "Connect to PC." I follow the instructions using my drive connect on my computer, and it says the device will restart. It reaches [redacted]%, starts up, and the loading bar completes. Then the device shuts off, restarts, the loading bar goes halfway, and the "Connect to PC" symbol reappears. This cycle repeats.

Hello, I purchased a TomTom GO Expert Plus from Argos UK two months ago. I am experiencing a recurring issue where the device reboots while I am driving. On two occasions, it displayed a broken spanner symbol and a message indicating that it needs repair. Despite performing updates, the problem persists. As a lorry driver, I rely on a trustworthy navigation device. I am requesting a refund for the product. Argos informed me that they require a reference number from you to process the refund. The truck version of TomTom doesn't display the [redacted] 18T weight limit in Wickwar, South Gloucestershire. HGVs are causing issues by passing through the village en route to M5 J14. Despite police weight checks penalizing disobedient drivers who overlook highway signs, the Sat Nav indicates the route is permissible. Urgently, this restriction needs to be visible on all devices. At present, TomTom is directing drivers to this route, resulting in fines and license points. This isn't responsible behavior for a navigation provider. The forthcoming use of ANPR cameras will exacerbate the challenges for drivers.

I charged my device fully, but this morning it wouldn't turn on properly. The screen kept flashing, then turning off and on again. I've already paid for the speed cameras and live traffic updates, but now I can't use it at all. I also can't find the link to download updates. This is really frustrating, especially since I got a speeding ticket in Wales a couple of weeks ago. I'm feeling really fed up. My sat nav model is the [redacted].

As I was not at home on the specified date, I could not have signed up for this subscription, especially since I was in Cologne where I do not have access to a computer or smartphone app as I do not own a smartphone. I will not be paying for this subscription, and I have already requested a block through PayPal. If this is not acknowledged, I will have to consider taking legal action. I already have a monthly subscription for €3.49, so there is no reason for me to additionally sign up for an annual subscription that is not relevant to me. Regards, Hans Dieter R.
