Hello Anthony, I referred a customer, Sharon Burris, to Thred Up who lives in my apartment building. I followed her shopping experience and together we learned a lot about the business practices of Thred Up, which are not in the best interest of the customers. The problems started with not being able to apply the 15% coupon at checkout and the return of misrepresented items by Thred Up. Sharon used store credit but was still charged shipping. There were also concerns about overpriced items compared to retail prices. After communication with Gaby regarding the return policy and pricing discrepancies, Sharon was dissatisfied with the responses and lack of resolution. Overall, the shopping experience on ThredUP was challenging, time-consuming, and frustrating due to the issues faced without proper customer service support. As a result, I will not be doing business with ThredUP again and will not recommend it to others. It is disappointing to see such tactics used by the company. Regards, Jeanette

I am trying to place my first thredUP order. Their website indicates that they ship to Canada, but I am encountering issues during checkout. The system is asking for a zip code instead of a postal code, causing errors when I try to input my address and payment details. I attempted to use Amazon and Paypal as payment methods, but those options are not working either. It is frustrating to lose items in my cart after 12 hours while waiting for this problem to be resolved. I noticed they mention shipping to Canada through Borderlinx, but it seems Borderlinx is not shipping from US addresses anymore. I wonder if this is affecting thredUP's service. If so, I believe they should communicate this change clearly on their website to avoid customer confusion. I hope to successfully complete my thredUP order soon.

I sent a high-value item, a Celine mini luggage bag in mint condition valued at $3,[redacted]. I followed their instructions, trusting they would handle my package and allow me to set the price on their site. After weeks of uncertainty about the bag's whereabouts, I received a brief message from customer service stating they had not received it. This situation is perplexing as my bag was packed with other items acknowledged as received. I am seeking either the return of my bag or proper compensation following standard business practices. They hold responsibility for compensating me, having arranged the shipping label and insurance. I expect at least $1,[redacted] in compensation for this significant loss. Communication attempts have been futile. Should legal action be considered? Thank you.

I have reached out regarding my Goody Box order with tracking number [redacted][redacted]. When I made the purchase, it was supposed to be delivered within 3-4 days. However, this is not the case, and it will arrive while I am away on vacation for two weeks. I have requested an extension to review the items and return any unwanted ones by Tuesday, August 24th. The response I received was confusing. I will be in rural Vermont and unable to forward the package. By the time it arrives, I will have already left. Can you please grant me an extension on the return date and ensure I am not charged for the items? I am aware of the seven-day return policy, and I don't want the box to be rejected and sent back to your facility.

I encountered difficulties trying to process a return and print a label on ThredUp's website. Despite being within the 14-day return window, the returns screen was consistently blank on multiple browsers, which has happened before. After numerous attempts to contact ThredUp over a few weeks without a resolution, I resorted to shipping the items back to ThredUp using the return address found online, incurring a high shipping cost of $61.43. I have retained the receipt for this transaction. I am seeking a refund to my credit card for the returned items and reimbursement for the expensive shipping cost. Additionally, I would appreciate an explanation for the inability to process the return online as usual. I kindly request a response via phone call along with an email. Thank you for your assistance. Zoey S.

On August 3rd, my wife accidentally purchased item number [redacted]0. I promptly cancelled it within 20 minutes. Ashlee sent me an email confirming the cancellation and stated that the refund would take 3 to 5 days. Today is August 12th, and I haven't received the refund. Despite sending follow-up emails after the 5th day, the issue remains unresolved. I regret leaving a negative review, as I believe I have not been treated fairly. As a recipient of Social Security Disability, every dollar is crucial to my family. I kindly request a swift resolution as I may escalate this matter to the Better Business Bureau if it's not addressed promptly. Thank you for your attention to this issue. I hope for a positive resolution soon. Best regards, Scott C.

I have received order# [redacted] for Item # [redacted]0, a Tory Burch shoulder bag, which I paid $[redacted].99 for. The item was shipped from Duluth, GA. The review when purchasing claimed the bag was in excellent condition. Despite being aware that this was a final sale, upon inspection, I found it not as described. There are two spots on the outside front peeling and the inside pockets are soiled all across the front. This discrepancy has happened to me before, and it is disappointing. I have confidence in the next two handbags I have ordered, hoping they will meet the description. I am requesting a store credit or a refund for this item. I am unsatisfied with this experience and would appreciate a prompt response. Thank you, Pamela

I am writing regarding order #B252F-VW9XY. In early September, I attempted to claim my payout which promised delivery within 14 days. Despite checking diligently, I never received any notification. When I tried to contact customer service by phone, the line was unavailable. I work full-time with hours that coincide poorly with those of the West Coast, making it challenging to resolve this issue. It would be greatly appreciated if I could receive the $42.69 owed to me. I have sent valuable items to your company and believe it is fair to expect timely compensation. Please contact me promptly by phone or email today regarding this matter. I look forward to resolving this quickly so I can continue using ThredUP with confidence. Thank you in advance. Best regards, B. Bush.

I requested a return label for three items I purchased, but it didn't print and now my account shows no items for return. I received the items on 10/26/18 and need to return them by 11/9/18. I need the generated label for all three items emailed to me for my refund. This is my first time ordering from ThredUp. Thank you, Alisa Wilson

I haven't received the shipping information for my order number [redacted]9 for the Brahmin bag I ordered on 10/19/18. When I contacted ThreadUp, they informed me that the order had been shipped, but when I checked my orders, it still shows as processing, not shipped. I was told it was sent without a label and to call back if I don't receive it by 11/2. I live in a rural area and have been waiting all week with my gate open for deliveries. It's frustrating not knowing if the purse has actually been shipped, not receiving a shipping notice, and receiving conflicting information from customer support.

I placed an order for multiple items but had to return three of them, and the return process has been extremely difficult. It has been ongoing for two months now despite providing proof of purchase and pictures. Unfortunately, I do not have the order number at the moment as I have been trying to locate a phone number to contact customer service. I am seeking a refund for the returned items and would appreciate assistance in resolving this matter. I have been unable to reach anyone through email or live chat, which is frustrating. My email address is [redacted], and I believe my account details can be accessed using it. I would like to understand why the return process is taking so long to be completed.

I ordered three large boxes of items from Tread Up and have yet to receive them. After contacting Tread Up, I was informed that the packages were shipped to FEDX, but when I reached out to FEDX, I was told that Tread Up had generated labels for the pickup, but the items were never shipped. The communication between the two companies has been ongoing for days now. Some customers have reported on Google that Tread Up consistently provides false information regarding shipping addresses to deceive customers, and unfortunately, I seem to be experiencing the same issue. It is frustrating to be misled about the status of my order. Additionally, the [redacted] customer service number seems to direct to a government site, further complicating matters. I urge Tread Up to address these concerns promptly.

I recently purchased a black winter coat from ThredUP for $85.99. Upon receiving the package, I discovered that instead of the coat I ordered, I received a black quilted coat lining with buttons for attachment. The invoice lists the item as a Women's Andrew Marc Coat, size M, final sale, priced at $85.99. This mix-up has caused me significant distress as I intended to purchase a complete coat, not just a lining. I am requesting a refund for the incorrect item and ask that there be no charge for returning it, as it is unusable to me. My order number is [redacted]8, and the item number is [redacted]6. Thank you for addressing this issue promptly.

I'm looking for assistance in ensuring safe delivery of my packages. The packages with tracking numbers [redacted][redacted] and [redacted][redacted], suggested as "delivered" by USPS, have not reached me. The USPS records mention them delivered to the mailbox, but I did not find them there. I suspect they were left in an insecure spot near the mailbox due to my apartment office being shut. I have contacted FedEx and USPS, initiated a search request for Missing Mail, and altered the delivery address to my work location. The inconvenience is compounded by having purchased replacements for the undelivered items only to find discounts applied later, which feels like rubbing salt in the wound. I eagerly seek resolution for this situation and preventive measures for future orders.

I had a $55.35 credit, and after making a purchase of $51.90, I expected to have $3.45 remaining. However, this amount seems to have disappeared from my account. Furthermore, one of my recent orders had a missing item, which was marked on the invoice but unclear. I am unsure if I will be refunded for this. I also have unresolved issues with my clean out box submissions. I have tried contacting support via email, but after initial contact, there has been no response to my follow-up emails. The lack of customer support is becoming frustrating. I hope to resolve these matters by speaking with a live representative soon, as my satisfaction with the service is currently compromised.

I recently had a family emergency that kept me away from home. Today, I realized that it's the last day to return the box of items I won't be keeping. This is the first box I've received, and I'd appreciate it if you could refrain from charging my card for the entire box as I'll be returning some items. Due to unexpected circumstances, I was unable to send it back sooner. I apologize for the delay and I assure you it won't happen again. Tomorrow morning, I will send the box back. Please only charge me for the items I decide to keep. I'll log onto the website to confirm my selection. Kindly consider this as a one-time exception. Thank you for your understanding. - Angela A.

I ordered 2 trench coats and one winter coat, all in extra large. The trench coats fit well, but the winter coat I received was labeled extra large for girls or kids, not women's sizing. This was very disappointing as my teen daughter, who wears a junior small, couldn't even put her arms in it. I noticed there is an $8.99 deduction for returns, which doesn't seem fair in this situation since the product was not as described. My name is Catherine B., and my order number is [redacted]8. The misrepresented product is the unbranded clothing jacket - [redacted]5. You can reach me at [redacted] Thank you.

I recently received an email informing me about a refund, but it seems they refunded me for a jacket I really wanted without giving a reason why it wasn't shipped. I initially ordered the jacket along with a less expensive item, and without the jacket, I wouldn't have made the purchase. Now, the remaining item costs more to ship ($5.99) than the item itself. It would have been helpful for them to explain why the jacket was unavailable before processing the refund. I am now reconsidering if I should cancel the whole order as I am not very interested in what is left.

Hello, Recently, my bank account was charged $[redacted].90 for an order I didn't receive. I'm certain I didn't make this purchase as nothing has been delivered to my address. I urge for a prompt resolution; otherwise, I may seek further actions by involving my lawyer, bank, and even the news station.

I am unsure of the exact date, possibly four months ago or more, when I received my first shipment from you. I returned all items except for the white jeans. My name is Ellen Pannell, and you can reach me at [redacted]. My address is [redacted] Lazy Valley Dr., Katy, TX [redacted]. I want to confirm that you received the returns and that I do not owe any money currently. As I am not at a permanent address, I cannot place any new orders at the moment. However, once I am settled, I look forward to resuming future orders. Thank you.
