I am experiencing difficulties with the IRS processing my [redacted] and [redacted] personal income taxes due to Form [redacted] for the premium tax credit. Despite having no health insurance costs and receiving healthcare through the state, the IRS is requesting this form. I am struggling to update my address and banking information post-divorce, which has led to non-receipt of stimulus payments. My federal tax returns remain unresolved while my state returns have been processed. Constant phone calls to the IRS have not yielded a solution, with multiple issues persisting. I feel frustrated and unheard, questioning the necessity of Form [redacted] in my situation. The lack of progress is distressing, causing immense stress and exacerbating the feeling of being overlooked.

I am seeking an update on my personal income tax status. I filed on February 21, [redacted], for the [redacted] tax year but have not yet received my refund. According to the IRS website, my refund is still being processed, and they will notify me once a refund date is available. I hope that the information I provided matches what you have on file, especially considering issues we faced receiving our stimulus check. Initially set for direct deposit to a closed account, it was then mailed to the wrong address, eventually returned to the IRS, causing delays compared to others. Despite updating my address with H&R Block after filing in [redacted], I am concerned about the accuracy of my information with your records.

I have not received my first or second stimulus checks. I filed a tax return to claim them using the rebate recovery. My tax return was filed on February 15 through Tax Free USA. I submitted it electronically on February 17. Afterward, I received an acceptance letter from Tax Free USA confirming my information, including my social security number, address, and bank account details for direct deposit. I also received a copy of my [redacted] form, where I noticed that the bank account information differed from what I provided. The correct account details are in the acceptance letter, not what was on the [redacted] form.
Please address this discrepancy. If needed, contact me at Craig Woolsey at [redacted]. My email is [redacted]

My wife and I have had custody of our granddaughter for 5 years, since her birth. Recently, her mother re-entered her life, and we have agreed through our attorneys and the court system (by court order) that we can each claim the child as a dependent in alternate years. I claimed her for the [redacted] tax year. The mother is now attempting to receive the upcoming tax credit payment scheduled for July. My question is, do I need to complete Form [redacted] to release the exemption on our granddaughter so that her mother can claim the child tax payment? I did not plan on claiming that advanced tax payment for our granddaughter since it's the mother's tax year. I am feeling pressured, and I want to ensure I am not doing anything unlawful. I am hopeful to receive answers on this matter promptly.

My fiancé and I filed our taxes with H&R Block for direct deposit. We were expecting them within 21 days, but despite calling multiple times, we're stuck with a recording saying our taxes were done on March 5th. We've tried reaching a live representative, but the call keeps disconnecting, and we're frustrated. I lost my job last year and need these taxes for survival. Can someone help us track down our missing tax refunds?

I submitted my tax return back in mid-February on the 18th, but it's still being processed. I'm concerned about the delay and the adjustments made due to unreported wages from [redacted]. Despite being told by an H&R Block representative that I didn't need to file, I received an email about the adjustment and the total refund owed to me. However, I have yet to receive the funds. I am eager to receive my tax refund. Please contact me at [redacted].

I submitted my taxes in February to the Houston office but have not received any updates despite multiple attempts to reach out. The irs.gov website indicates issues with my information and lacks details. I have also not received any stimulus checks, and when claiming my daughter on taxes, it showed her social security number was already in use. This required me to mail my tax returns instead of e-filing. Unfortunately, every time I contact customer service, no one can provide assistance, citing COVID-related delays. I am eager to resolve these matters and would appreciate knowing the status of my inquiries.

Hello, I am Lisa B. On February 9, [redacted], I submitted [redacted] taxes for my daughter, E.R., who is currently incarcerated in Rockville Correctional Center, Indiana. I accidentally sent the power of attorney form to the wrong address. Instead of Cincinnati, OH, I mistakenly sent it to Fresno, CA 93[redacted]. The documents were received on February 17, but I haven't received her refund yet. Additionally, her [redacted] taxes have been pending since April 1st. I would appreciate guidance on further steps. Thank you.

I represent a foreign citizen who sold a condominium on July 18, [redacted]. Due to not having an EIN, $[redacted],[redacted] was withheld and sent to the IRS. The CPA filed a Non-Resident Alien Income Tax Return with "Applied for" noted under TIN and applied for a TIN. However, there has been no response from the IRS regarding the withheld amount. A Request for Taxpayer Advocate Service Assistance was faxed a month ago with no follow-up. It has been challenging to obtain information electronically or by phone due to the TIN requirement.

Hello, I filed my [redacted] taxes and included my son, but we never received any stimulus payments, not for the first, second, or third rounds. I didn't amend the return. I've contacted the IRS, and they advised me to file my [redacted] tax return to claim the stimulus money for my son. However, we still haven't received anything. I also owe the IRS, but because of the missing stimulus checks for my son, I haven't received them. I spoke to a representative, and they mentioned they don't see a processed [redacted] return, only the [redacted] one.

I had my taxes filed by my tax preparer, and they were in the process of being processed when my fiancé decided to claim me on his taxes. As a result, we had to mail them in. It has been over three months since we sent them, and after my tax lady contacted the IRS, she was informed they received my return. However, when I called earlier, I was told they hadn't received it. I am feeling stressed about the situation and would appreciate clarity on the status of my taxes and when I can expect to receive them.

I have been waiting for my refund for over three months, and I am confused about the delay. Recently, I received a letter requesting identity verification but encountered issues while trying to verify on the website due to not having an active loan, credit, or debit card. I followed all the instructions correctly, and I have a one-year-old son to take care of. I am disappointed in the lack of communication about the status of my refund and the delay in receiving my third stimulus check. I hope for improved communication from the company, especially during these challenging times.

I used TurboTax to file my federal taxes on 5/15/21. I was informed that my tax return would be mailed around 6/7/21. However, today I received a letter from the IRS (5071C) saying I need to do an identity verification. I tried calling (no one available) or visiting the website, but it asks for proof of a student loan, mortgage, or credit card - none of which I have. This is my first time filing taxes after being in and out of jail for 10 years. I'm worried about this situation and need assistance to receive my $[redacted] tax return. It's causing me a lot of stress.

I encountered an issue with my 4th stimulus check being deposited into a bank account with the last 4 digits that I do not recognize. The IRS website lists the ending 4 digits as [redacted], which is different from the actual last 4 digits of my Direct Express card, which are [redacted]. I kindly request immediate assistance to rectify this error because I only agreed to have the $[redacted] direct deposited into my Direct Express card on May 7th. I'm expecting prompt resolution and the deposit of the funds to my account by June 29th or sooner. Your urgent attention and correction in sending the owed money to my correct account ending in [redacted] are greatly appreciated to avoid any further delay, ensuring I have access to the funds by the end of June for an upcoming trip. Thank you for addressing this matter promptly and rectifying the error.

In September [redacted], we inquired about a missing stimulus check, only to discover an outstanding balance was due. We were unaware of this issue previously. A payment plan was established for a [redacted] tax matter, with monthly payments consistently made. Recently, we received another IRS notice regarding the same issue but with a different reference number. We have been addressing and paying towards a single outstanding issue each month. We seek clarification to confirm this is not a duplicate and would appreciate guidance on how to track the total amount owed presently and after every payment is processed.

I was incarcerated in [redacted] and recently released in May [redacted]. Due to my situation, I couldn't file my [redacted] tax returns on time. I know about the 3-year deadline to claim a refund unless there's a valid reason for the delay, which being in prison qualifies as. Can I still file and receive my refund? If so, how can I obtain my 2[redacted] tax transcripts to proceed? I worked at Applebee's and Salsarita's in Morristown, TN, before my incarceration. I appreciate any guidance on the necessary steps to take. Thank you.

Hello, I'm Alissa Busson, and I'm experiencing difficulty contacting the IRS as nobody seems to be available. My federal tax refund for [redacted] has not been received yet. I submitted my refund on March 8, [redacted], and while I did get my state return, the federal one is missing. I urgently need this money as I'm a full-time college student with loans to pay and no job. Despite using the 'Where's my refund' tool, it consistently shows that my refund is still being processed. I've attempted to call the IRS multiple times without success; the system disconnects my call, making it impossible to leave a message for a callback. TurboTax confirms that everything is in order on their end, but I'm left in the dark about why my payment is delayed. My partner received both state and federal returns promptly, while I'm still waiting for the federal one. I hope to receive assistance soon as this prolonged delay is frustrating for me.

I submitted my [redacted] income tax return through H&R Block electronically, but I haven't received any updates on my refund status yet. I also claimed the credit rebate for missing stimulus payments, and even though I provided the IRS with my bank account details for direct deposit, they keep sending me checks instead. After reaching out to H&R Block, they informed me that my tax refund was accepted and completed as of 3/7/[redacted]. I'm now eager to find out when the funds will be deposited into my account. Despite checking the IRS website, I couldn't find any further details other than the refund amount. The H&R Block office on Airport Road in Allentown confirmed that I am owed a refund of $10,[redacted].00. I would appreciate any insight into the delay of releasing my funds after four months.

Hello, my name is Karen Stallsworth.
I am inquiring if others have experienced the same issue as I have. I e-filed my taxes with TurboTax on March 11, [redacted]. I received confirmation from the IRS that both my State and Federal returns were accepted. When checking the IRS refund status, I was informed that my refund is still in process and to await further notification. Checking today, June 14, [redacted], it now states to allow 21 days for the deposit. I am uncertain if my claim is accepted or still processing. I believe the website should provide more details instead of the same message for the past 3 months. I have attempted to contact them by phone, but it is not possible at the moment. I am eager to receive my refund like everyone else. Thank you for any assistance provided.

I sent my federal and state taxes for [redacted] and [redacted] in late February [redacted]. They were prepared using TurboTax but got rejected due to an AGI error, which I fixed when I filed my [redacted] returns. I expected refunds for both years. I contacted the state regarding the status of the refunds. I received the [redacted] refund but faced mailing issues with the [redacted] refund, which was then reshipped. However, I haven't received either the federal refunds for [redacted] ($97) or [redacted] ($[redacted]). I can provide copies of the paperwork if necessary. Dealing with this has been frustrating, and any help would be appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.
