1) I did not file a tax return for [redacted] due to low income. I now wish to file. Which forms should I use, and where should I send them? (I am aware that Efile is only for current-year returns.) 2) I got the first Economic Impact payment but not the second as I hadn't filed [redacted] taxes. How do I claim the second payment? What forms do I need? 3) I want to file my [redacted] return. Should I wait after filing [redacted] and receiving confirmation? I plan to Efile [redacted] but must mail [redacted]. If you get my [redacted] before [redacted], will this be a problem? Should I delay filing [redacted] until confirming receipt of my [redacted]? Thank you.

I submitted my tax return on February 16th and learned that it was accepted shortly after. Despite this, I have not received my refund in my account. I check the "Where's my refund" site regularly, but it continues to show "processing." It's been more than 21 days, the recommended wait time before contacting them. Unfortunately, calling has been unfruitful as I can never reach a person or even wait on hold. The recorded message states the call volume is high, and today, I received a closed office message during their open hours. This delay is causing financial stress as I've had to increase credit card usage. I seek clarification on any issues with my return causing the delay or for the IRS to investigate the situation.

I had my taxes done at Walmart E. Washington St. The staff there closed for the season but the lady helped me. Unfortunately, she made mistakes on my tax return, causing me to miss out on a $[redacted] tax credit and not including the $28,[redacted] I paid off my totaled car. There were errors with my casino winnings and the lottery tickets. Additionally, she convinced me to get a Jackson card for $50, promising a Walmart gift card promotion but never provided it. I want my $45 refund for the unwanted card deposited into my bank account, not an American Express account. I prefer having the remaining balance cancelled as I have another tax professional for my LLC. The paperwork needs to be revised, as significant discrepancies exist. Please contact me at [redacted]. Thank you.

I've been attempting to track my stimulus payment. I was informed that I won't be receiving it this time because I am claimed as a dependent. I receive social security and do not receive any other assistance. The person claiming me as a dependent is intimidating and always talks about their shooting skills. I am fearful of them discovering that I reached out for help. They and their husband earn significant income, drive a BMW, and have regular meals daily. My bank statement only shows my social security payments, which I use to pay my bills through bill pay. When I confronted them, they mentioned having receipts and discouraged me from claiming benefits for years. I live a frugal life, driving an old truck and limiting meals to stretch my food. I planned to use the stimulus money to buy a used mobile home, but now I have to repay the person who lent me money for it. I feel my only option is to escape in my truck and begin anew.

I am attempting to register an account to access my tax history and view past job details, as it's convenient for me to have this information online rather than printing and potentially losing physical copies. Despite using the same address on my taxes, the system indicates it's incorrect, which is puzzling. The delays and lack of assistance are frustrating, especially for a busy stay-at-home mom like me who values efficiency. I've encountered these issues even before the pandemic and believe that current circumstances should prompt quicker assistance. It's disheartening to feel accountable for errors or delays, and the process would be smoother if there were notifications about less busy times to contact customer support. It would be much more efficient if there were options to view information online promptly without the need for lengthy phone calls and wait times.

I received a message about my taxes indicating an issue with the Recovery Rebate Credit on my return. Despite earning $40,[redacted] last year, they say my adjusted gross income exceeds $75,[redacted]. I understand I don't make over $75,[redacted], and I'm worried about my son's social security number being rejected for being under 18. The notice mentions potential errors related to missing or incorrect social security numbers, mismatched last names of dependents, or dependents exceeding the age limit. This situation has me anxious about my son's social security number and concerned that someone might be using mine.

I got married in September [redacted]. Unfortunately, my license got lost when I sent it via certified mail to the Social Security office. This affected my application for an updated social security card, but the issue was resolved, and I received the card. I also got a new driver's license with my married name. Prior to marriage, my name was Kathryn Nicole Scrum; now it's Kathryn Nicole Blake. When I filed taxes in January, I used my previous name Scrum, but my bank accounts already reflected Blake. Despite the name change, my tax refund was issued on an Emerald card. We are still waiting for our federal tax return and had issues with the IRS not updating our address in their system. We've been patient, but the process has been delayed. We wonder if the name change is causing the hold-up. Should I provide additional documentation for the name change to speed up the process? Any assistance on this matter would be appreciated. Thank you, M and K Blake.

I am a current college student. I am experiencing issues with Proverifier, a document board related to my school, FAFSA, and the IRS. Initially, I had to complete a "Dependent Verification Worksheet" and provide a "[redacted] Parent Tax Transcript" due to an error on FAFSA where I mistakenly indicated that I work when I do not. Following guidance from a Proverifier representative, I submitted a [redacted] non-filer form to demonstrate my non-employment status. Unexpectedly, upon revisiting Proverifier, I found a request for a "[redacted] W2" even though I had already submitted the non-filer form. Despite explaining my situation, I was instructed to obtain a tax transcript from the IRS by submitting a "Request for Transcript of Tax Return" and uploading it as the W2. Struggling to get in touch with the IRS and facing impending school consequences, I am feeling overwhelmed and frustrated.

I recently noticed an issue with my W2 form from my employer. They reported my earnings to be nearly $[redacted],[redacted], while I actually make $22 per hour. The discrepancy is due to them including the value of a car I won in a raffle, worth about $74,[redacted], which they grossed up to total around $[redacted],[redacted]. According to California law, winners of raffles are only required to pay 1/3 of the value, and only non-profit organizations can host raffles. Winnings should typically be listed on a W2-G or a [redacted] form. This error could potentially impact my eligibility for future stimulus checks, as the amount exceeds the bracket limits for earned income. It may also affect child benefits aimed at preventing poverty. I have already filed my taxes, waiting to receive the $1,[redacted] stimulus check. However, I am concerned about any future stimulus payments due to the reported earned income for [redacted].

I recently encountered an issue with my old bank account. It had been closed for over a year due to a lack of funds. Unexpectedly, the bank reopened this inactive account and deposited the stimulus money totaling $[redacted], then later $1,[redacted]. Initially, I didn't realize the $[redacted] payment had been made, but upon receiving confirmation, I mistakenly claimed a recovery rebate credit during tax filing. However, after the IRS processed my taxes and the bank alerted me to a $2,[redacted] balance, I realized my error. Despite never receiving the recovery credit from the IRS, they are now asking me to repay $[redacted], attempting twice to withdraw the amount from my different active account. I was unaware of the reopened account or the stimulus funds being deposited there. I believe the bank should have returned the money to the IRS instead of accepting it. I am seeking advice on disputing this debt as I do not think I should be held accountable for repaying the $[redacted], nor do I believe the IRS should reclaim the stimulus funds or deduct it from any future payments. Is there a possibility I can challenge this and have the debt waived?

I submitted my tax return expecting a refund by April 6th. As of May 1st, the IRS site still indicates that my refund is processing with no specific date provided. While I understand delays happen, a more detailed update would be helpful. Waiting a month beyond the estimated date is challenging for my family. It's frustrating to be unable to reach a live agent when I call. I'd appreciate a clearer explanation for the delay in processing and guidance on how to reach a real person for assistance.

Hi, I am seeking guidance on launching a website to raise donations for a vet clinic in Spain to aid mistreated animals. As a non-resident of the USA, I want to ensure that I am not subject to taxes on the funds collected through the site, as the donations are not for my personal gain but to support the clinic. I plan to facilitate direct transfers to the clinic's Spanish bank account via my website. Additionally, if I sell digital articles on the same site to raise funds for the clinic, would this arrangement exempt me from tax obligations? Will the vet clinic be liable for any taxes in the USA as a result of receiving these donations? Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you for supporting this cause with me. - Lore :)

I submitted my [redacted] Tax Refund on February 21, [redacted], and the IRS confirmed the acceptance the same day. Since then, the IRS "Where's my refund" tool has consistently shown "refund still being processed." Initially, I was advised to expect the refund in the first week of March, but as of May 2, the status remains unchanged. I'm uncertain why there's a delay and when I can anticipate a resolution. Furthermore, all three of my Economic Stimulus Payments for my children and me were mistakenly sent to my Ex-Husband. Despite a protective order, he retained the payments. I've had no success in redirecting the payments or updating my details for future Stimulus Payments.

On March 23rd, I filed for my tax refunds, but I have yet to receive them. Despite contacting customer service and working with a helpful representative to determine that April 21st was my expected date of receipt, my refund is still listed as "processing" as of today, May 5th. I am eager for a prompt resolution to this matter. Please get in touch with me at [redacted]. Thank you, Tiger M. Berry.

Hi, I completed my [redacted] taxes in February with the assistance of a tax preparer. Unfortunately, I did not receive a copy of my submitted form unless I paid for it. Recently, on April 5th, [redacted], I received a notice from the IRS, CP-12, stating that there were issues with the social security number and last name of one or more dependents claimed, affecting my Recovery Rebate Credit. I'm unsure of the steps to rectify this situation or which form to fill out since my taxes have already been filed. Additionally, I missed reporting the first stimulus payment on my [redacted] taxes. I also received an Economic Impact Payment in April, and I'm unsure if my dependents will receive it as well. I would greatly appreciate any guidance on how to address these matters. Thank you in advance for your assistance. - Ivy

I have contacted 1-[redacted] multiple times, and each time I have been transferred to a different department to address issues with my individual account. Unfortunately, the calls were disconnected due to "too many calls." When attempting to use the "Get My Payment" tool online and entering my social security number and birthday, inputting any address results in a Payment Status of "Not available." Previously, the site would give an error when using my old address, indicating incorrect information. Supervisors have acknowledged there seems to be an issue. 1) My correct address has been on file since last year. 2) I filed my taxes early and they were accepted and processed months ago. 3) My Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) is below the threshold for receiving the payment, so I am unsure why I have not received it yet.

Good morning, To avoid any confusion, I want to share the information my associate provided regarding the "CP [redacted] E" form: According to him, your Trust was issued an EIN on a CP [redacted] E form. While you might not have the physical form because it was on a previous computer, you can search for it in your "DOWNLOADS" folder or view an example at www.TheUltimateInAssetProtection.com/proof. Notarization of the CP [redacted] E is unnecessary, and both you and your Trust are not expected to have any tax liabilities as the EIN is permanent. He suggests updating your documents by mentioning to the IRS that you cannot locate the CP [redacted] Notice and are unsure of any filing requirements. Request them to inform you of any necessary forms and deadlines. I hope this clarifies your situation. Thanks very much, Ron A.

I received a check from the US Department of Treasury, but I encountered difficulties cashing it. The local teller at the store would not accept it, even though I provided my ID and SSN# for verification. I am unsure if these checks are generally challenging to cash, or if additional information is needed. Could a minor discrepancy, such as a height difference due to my new ID after my old one was stolen, cause issues? If adjustments are necessary, how can I ensure the information matches my current ID? I apologize for the numerous questions, but I seek a resolution to this matter. Thank you for your assistance. Hello, I am Tonya D., a 38-year-old female from Morristown, TN [redacted]. I filed my taxes on March 3, [redacted]. However, when checking my refund status, it continues to show "still being processed." I have attempted numerous times to reach the IRS for assistance, waiting on hold for over 30 minutes on multiple occasions, only to be disconnected without speaking to anyone. I am also concerned about not receiving the 2nd and 3rd stimulus checks, as I qualify but have only received the 1st one. Despite my efforts to use the "Get My Payment" tool, it shows no information available. During this difficult time of losing my 11-year-old son to an asthma attack on March 5th, along with the associated expenses and my own health issues preventing me from working, I urgently need access to these funds. I seek assistance in understanding the delays in processing my taxes and receiving the stimulus payments. Thank you for your help.

I have not received my third economic impact payment yet. I updated my address with the post office and the IRS to forward my mail from the P.O. box to my mom's address. The payment was sent over ** days ago via overnight mail, but I have not received anything. I am confused why it wasn't direct deposited like my first two payments. I am looking for assistance from someone who can help me resolve this issue. The Harrisburg, PA IRS office may need to address this matter. Thank you.
