I am patiently waiting for my refund but have not received any documentation yet. I have been consistently checking online for an update on the release date of my check, but unfortunately, there is no information available. During a call in mid-May, I was informed that the release date was scheduled for June 18th, as that was the deadline they had set to process everything up to my husband's debt. However, when I check online, it still shows as "being processed." I am uncertain about how much longer I will have to wait for my refund as I do not have any outstanding debts, yet my money is being held. I believe the amount owed should have already been deducted from my husband's debt, and I am troubled by this situation. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I have received two calls from individuals claiming to be from the IRS regarding 4 issues with my tax filing. The calls threatened potential legal action if I didn't respond within 24 hours. Despite attempts to contact the IRS directly at 1-[redacted], I've been unable to reach a representative, raising suspicions about the authenticity of these calls. The phone numbers used by the callers are [redacted] and [redacted]. During my calls, I encountered a busy signal and later spoke to someone who identified as Dane Hernandez with badge number [redacted]. The background noise suggested a crowded environment, further adding to my uncertainty. Without receiving any prior written communication from the IRS and facing difficulties verifying the callers' identities, I'm left questioning the validity of these calls.

There was an issue with my electronic refund where the names were switched. I had to call in to verify my identity, which was successfully completed on February 27th. Despite being assured that the process was progressing during three separate calls, it was not the case. Finally, on June 15th, I was informed that the verification was not finalized, well beyond the 9-week waiting period. Now, I am told to wait another 9 weeks due to the IRS mistake. I find it frustrating that they hold me accountable for interest when I owe them, but there is no recourse for their oversight. I am disappointed with the delays and lack of accountability on their end.

I have submitted two amended returns for tax years [redacted] and [redacted]. My sister overlooked claiming the Earned Income Credit (EIC) on both filings, and for [redacted], she also missed claiming my nephew as a dependent. I have already received the refund for the [redacted] amended return promptly. However, the [redacted] amended return has not even been acknowledged as received or processed on the "Where's My Amended Return" site. Although an IRS representative confirmed receiving it on 4/2/18 and mentioned it was still in the processing stage, it has yet to reflect on the website or automated phone service. I have not yet received my refund. Despite being informed multiple times over the phone that there is no information available, the latest call assured me my case would be prioritized for manual review instead of relying solely on automated processes. It has now been over a month since this assurance was given, and there have been no updates on the website or through other channels regarding the status of my refund. The return is error-free and there should be no delays, making the lack of communication after over 3 months quite frustrating. I am uncertain if any action is required on my part for the refund, if there are any underlying issues, or when I can anticipate receiving it.

I am in need of evidence regarding my ongoing tax filing problems related to my identity. I am currently in the process of redetermination for my Supplemental Security Income benefits due to my disability. Upon receiving a notice from Social Security requesting this documentation for my redetermination, I realized that my Tax Record and Social Security process have been influenced by identity theft issues. Despite being disabled and unemployed since the mid-2000s, someone had falsely reported earnings using my name for a period of 3 to 4 years. I have already taken steps to rectify this situation with the IRS, who confirmed that the matter has been addressed. All that is required now is proof of this incident for Social Security. I am gathering all this information for my daughter who will be starting college next month. I was given a list of documents to obtain for her and us, her parents. The school requested a Verification of Non-filing letter for [redacted] and [redacted], Student Wage and Income Transcript for [redacted]/[redacted], Wage and income status for the parents for [redacted], and a Tax Return Transcript for the parents for [redacted]. I am unsure if the form [redacted]-T will fulfill all these requirements. Specifically, I am confused about where to input my daughter's information on the form for the verification of non-filing since she has not filed taxes before. Would she fill in her details at the top under "Name shown on tax return" in section 1a? This part seems unclear to me.

Accounts Management, stating they were unable to consider my Injured Spouse Allocation as I filed my original return differently. I am confused about this. I have been paying owed taxes to the IRS for almost 10 years. I tried to settle and submitted paperwork. The agent assigned to my case didn't respond after multiple calls and then sent a rejection without returning my $[redacted] settlement check. I refuse to pay the bills without that returned check. Initially, I was told that some paperwork was missing from work, then there were identity verification issues. I would like to know if all investigations have been completed and when I can expect my refund.

We recently had our taxes done incorrectly by a prior tax office for the [redacted] tax year. Throughout [redacted], we paid roughly $[redacted] per month, totaling at least $[redacted]. A different tax office informed us we had overpaid and assisted us in filing an amendment for [redacted]. However, we have not received any updates on this yet. Upon contacting the IRS, I was informed they applied the payment to an outstanding balance we didn't have. The initial error was our house being categorized as a business, leading to a mistakenly paid capital gains tax of $10,[redacted] when we sold the house. Our newest accountant clarified this error, stating we should have never been charged the capital gains tax. I seek clarification on what happened to the payments made throughout the year. I submitted my tax return in February, and it was supposed to be released on March 8th. However, the IRS required a review because I mistakenly marked "disabled" when asked if my spouse works. Although she does not receive a check, I provided that information as a clarification. After speaking with a representative and being informed that I should receive it by May 10th with any necessary deductions, I have yet to receive any updates. Additionally, TurboTax wouldn't allow me to e-file my state return, so now I have to print and mail it. Unfortunately, my printer is not working. I have not received any further communication from the IRS besides a generic message stating my refund is being processed and a date will be provided later. This has been the status for months now.

I filed my federal taxes on February 15, [redacted] and was supposed to receive it on 3/8/18. I received a letter stating they were reviewing my taxes. I spoke with a live person who mentioned that due to identity theft and other reasons, the IRS is reviewing many returns. They told me I should have mine by May 10, [redacted], but it's now August 27, [redacted], and my return is still being processed. TurboTax didn't allow me to file electronically, so I had to print my state return to mail it, but I don't own a printer. When asked if my spouse worked, I said no, mentioning they are disabled, though they don't collect disability. I have not received any further letters regarding this issue.

I've been receiving repeated phone calls threatening me with police action. I'm unsure about the situation and urgent to speak to someone right away. I've only been getting automated messages without the chance to connect with a live person. Whenever I've tried to verify their identity as IRS agents, some have abruptly ended the call, while others persist on pressuring me without addressing my concerns. It feels like a scam, especially since they keep insisting on getting my social security number. Please provide some guidance as I'm concerned about potential identity theft. I have neighbors who recently moved into the area and are taking advantage of my computer systems by downloading unauthorized software. They have a business named Discovery House that shows inflated earnings. They are using unacceptable methods to pressure me to leave my property. Their connections to various businesses and advanced equipment extend beyond what is publicly known. I have reported their actions to the FCC and Federal Trade Commission as they access my devices and utilities without permission. This large operation has not been fully disclosed online. They have connections to career schools nearby and have intruded on my privacy in multiple ways. The situation seems like a violation of my civil rights and state and federal laws. I believe they are conducting illegal activities, and I hope they are held accountable for their actions.
