My name is Charles Duckworth. My benefits were unexpectedly stopped, despite completing all necessary tasks like the ID verification. I have been trying to contact the TWC Identification Verification Department at 1-[redacted], but the phone just leads me to voicemail. Even after leaving messages, I never receive a call back. The line then became constantly busy, and I later received notice of being ineligible for benefits. Despite numerous attempts, I am unable to reach anyone at TWC who can assist. It's been 15 weeks of unsuccessful calls where I am passed from one person to another without a resolution. I attempted to file an appeal, but I have missed the deadline. I am concerned why my brothers, who work in the same field as me, are receiving their benefits without issues. I feel neglected and wish to resolve this matter promptly. Thank you.

Hi, my name is Paul H. I used to work for Larry M. at Livingstone Company in Llano, TX. I believe I was wrongly classified as a contract laborer instead of an employee during my time there. A friend advised me to seek advice on this matter as I feel I was being taken advantage of. I used all of Larry's tools, vehicles, and supplies for work, and he covered work-related expenses like food, lodging, and travel without compensating for overtime. I worked 50-70 hours a week for 9 years without proper classification. This situation impacted my unemployment benefits, which were initially denied but later approved due to the pandemic. However, the amount I received was minimal, and it's ending soon. I believe I should be entitled to more due to the misclassification. Larry didn't make any deductions from our paychecks, leaving me unsure about how to proceed.

I was approved for pandemic unemployment assistance starting on August 16, [redacted], and have submitted 39 payment requests without receiving any funds. I mistakenly claimed benefits for days I was incarcerated in Tarrant County Jail. I am aware that this was unintentional and am prepared to repay any overpaid amounts. Despite numerous calls and emails, I keep hearing that my case is under investigation. I am drained my retirement savings and will soon be financially depleted. It has been almost 10 months since this investigation started, and I am requesting the Texas Workforce Commission to expedite the process, adjust my claims, and release the pending backpay for the 39 requests.

I have been receiving unemployment benefits because of the pandemic and have not encountered any issues until recently. Despite being told I was eligible for the last two payment requests and that everything would go back to normal, I have not received any payments. This situation has led to me facing eviction due to non-payment, and I am now in a tough spot with nowhere to turn. I urgently need someone to get in touch with me regarding these outstanding payments.

I'm confused about the two-day hold situation. I tried calling the provided number, [redacted], but no one picked up. I contacted on 6-2-21 and was instructed to call back today, 6-9-21, only to be informed about a two-day hold. This hold doesn't seem justified, given my proactive job search since being laid off from Health Care Solutions where I worked from 10-5-20 to 2-19-21 due to my client contracting Covid-19. I've been diligently seeking new employment but finding it challenging to secure another Health Care position. Although I received unemployment benefits in [redacted], I have since updated my address, banking details, and phone number.

I am experiencing issues accessing the website and contacting customer service by phone, which is preventing me from managing my benefits. Recently, I was terminated from my job the day after my boss received notification of my partial unemployment claim. Despite questioning my boss about the reason for termination, I received an illogical response. I believe I completed my unemployment application over the phone, but now I am unable to access the website to update my information and request payment. All attempts to reach a live person through phone calls or chat have been unsuccessful due to high call volumes and automated systems. I am able to log in to the Texas Workforce Commission website but cannot proceed further to the necessary unemployment benefits portal. Assistance in completing the required information and processing payment or resolving the website access issue is greatly appreciated.

I am having trouble navigating the TWC website as it leads me in circles. The phone representatives keep transferring me around, eventually disconnecting the call. The Determination of Payment of Unemployment Benefits confirmed that I qualify for PUA benefits. Despite following all instructions and even completing the ID verification process due to a hacking issue, my account has been showing "Not eligible for payment" for months without any explanation. I feel defeated as I have diligently complied with their requests, only to face more confusion and demands. I simply seek clarity and efficiency as I struggle with online processes. My efforts seem futile, leaving me exhausted and disheartened. I hope this message reaches TWC as I am unable to get through to them directly.

I was instructed to contact TWC before 07/20/[redacted], which I did by calling the numbers [redacted] and [redacted] multiple times to provide additional information. Despite making over [redacted] calls, I encountered high call volumes that led to an inability to connect with a representative. After trying a different service number to speak to a person, I was directed to submit a callback request through the chat form. I filled out the form twice this week but have not received the promised call back despite receiving confirmation that my request was received. I urgently need assistance to resolve my overdue payment situation.

I disagree with the Appeal Tribunal's decision to disallow the backdating of my claim. I provided sufficient cause for backdating it to April 5, [redacted]. The decision has been reversed, and my initial claim is now backdated to April 5, [redacted]. The UI administration and operational support departments are instructed to adjust the claim dates accordingly. My PEUC claim from October 11, [redacted], and EB claim from January 10, [redacted], will be recalculated to align with this decision. I received an email stating I'm still eligible, but no mention was made of the backdating. The deadline to appeal this decision was July 13, [redacted]. When I inquired on July 20, [redacted], a contracted supervisor couldn't provide details on the appeal. I'm Royceanna R. Butler, and my social ends in [redacted]. You can contact me by phone at [redacted]. Thank you for your assistance.

My wife recently received a notice regarding her unemployment claim relating to identity theft. After contacting TWC, we were instructed to verify her identity by submitting copies of her driver's license, passport, social security number, and income tax return through various methods. However, we received a bill on Saturday demanding repayment of over $[redacted] in benefits, with the first payment due this Friday of $[redacted]. She is urgently seeking to speak with a live representative to address this issue but has been unable to navigate past the automated menu system.

I have been trying to get verified for unemployment since June. I submitted my paperwork via mail due to issues with the ID me app. It has been nearly three months, my car got repossessed, I have high bills, health problems, and I couldn't properly wash clothes for two months. I lost my wallet with my license and social security card. The process has been frustrating with conflicting information from one person to the next. I contacted a lawyer group, but I am still not verified, accumulating more debt. The ID me company seems unreliable, affecting my benefits from September, given by my former employer at the start of the pandemic. It is misleading to halt payments without proper explanation, alleging fraud. I received overpayment notices without evidence, shifting the burden of proof unfairly. The Texas Workforce Commission's actions lack transparency and accountability, prompting me to seek legal and media intervention. I am appalled by the corruption and unethical behavior within the organization.

For the past five months, the Texas Workforce Commission abruptly halted my payments in September. Despite being asked to urgently re-verify my identity via the ID. ME app in August, technical issues prevented me from using the phone camera. After faxing my documents on August 26th, it is now mid-November, and the process of verifying my identity has been frustrating due to misleading statements and delays. The organization's lack of urgency to assist me financially has caused significant distress, as only four individuals manually handle verifications. This prolonged verification process has resulted in financial hardship and made it necessary to seek legal counsel. I am prepared to escalate this issue through the local and national media to hold those responsible accountable. I am hopeful to have my identity verified promptly to access my funds and address urgent medical concerns related to a black mold issue. It is disappointing that the organization's approach to combating fraud has negatively impacted legitimate individuals in need. I seek resolution by next week and may reach out to elected officials for assistance.

My employer has not paid my salary for the past 2 1/2 weeks. Despite not terminating me, they have stopped paying me. I'm the sole provider for my household as my wife is disabled and unable to work. Currently, I am on medical bed rest due to a motorcycle accident. The lack of payment has put me in a difficult financial situation, and I am starting to receive overdue notices. I feel like I am no longer employed due to this situation. I am considering filing a claim with the Texas Workforce Commission to seek unemployment benefits. Your advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

I have been unable to request payment and have received a letter from TWC stating that I received an overpayment. They then sent another letter saying I will not have to repay the money due to a natural disaster zone and the pandemic. While waiting for help from the SBA for PPP and EIDL relief, there seems to be a big misunderstanding. I need help pinpointing any errors and fixing the problems to get back on track.

I recently applied for unemployment benefits but encountered issues with verifying my identity. Despite providing the necessary information, I was repeatedly asked to verify my identity over the phone. I struggled with the process due to my limited computer knowledge and encountered difficulties each week when trying to get assistance. Despite sending various documents and calling regularly, the issue persisted, causing frustration and delays in receiving my entitled benefits. I even had trouble locating a specific document requested. As time passes, I am growing increasingly concerned about the delay in receiving the benefits owed to me from January until around March, which amounts to approximately 4 or 5 months. I hope to resolve this situation soon and appreciate any guidance or support in navigating the identification verification process effectively.

Hello, my name is Lakesha Love, and I am a 41-year-old single mom. After working for 41 years, I recently had to quit my job due to unfair treatment and overworking in a position that I found frustrating. I left a job in the medical field where I worked as an X-ray technician and decided never to return to this industry. Currently, I have been working part-time at Swarovski since August [redacted], as my previous job at Texas Bone and Joint was also difficult and unfair. Even though I love working at Swarovski, I am struggling financially and need some assistance. I have been working throughout the pandemic without any breaks and have not seen the benefits of my hard work. The situation with my son's father not being able to provide child support has added to my financial challenges. I am reaching out today to ask for help before feeling like giving up. Thank you. -Lakesha L.

I need to update my address with US Bank ReliaCard customer service. My account is currently flagged for fraud, preventing me from receiving a new debit card. I was informed by a TWC representative that my address was updated, but when speaking with a US Bank ReliaCard representative, they claimed it was not. This situation must be resolved promptly as my unemployment benefits are inaccessible to me, and I urgently need to access these funds.

About a year and a half ago, I was receiving unemployment benefits that transitioned to benefits under the CARES ACT. Now, when I tried to reapply for benefits, I found I couldn't access my old account. Since my phone number and email have changed, I can't log in to view any correspondence or other information. Despite not knowing if I am eligible for benefits again, I would like to access my old account to review past communications. I recall my username but struggle with the password reset process as it requires access to an outdated email I no longer use. Even though I receive the username reminder, I can't proceed with changing the password due to the email issue.

I faced challenges from coworkers who believed I was slow at cleaning. I addressed this issue with the owner and the head supervisor, and we agreed on a solution. Despite this, I still faced gossip from two colleagues who seemed to want me fired. I stood up for myself and reminded them to focus on their work. Unfortunately, the receptionist was consistently rude. When I mentioned this to someone, she reported it to the owner, who defended her. I remained calm but expressed my disappointment at the unfair treatment. I asked him to review the quality of my work, which he acknowledged was good. I appreciated the opportunity to continue working despite the rumors and lies circulating.

I need assistance as my unemployment claim was recently backdated due to an unpaid claim back in May [redacted]. Although the issue was resolved, and I received back payment, I started receiving biweekly payments which unexpectedly stopped once I hit the one year mark for the earlier claim. Despite still being unemployed and eligible for ongoing payments, my payments have been halted for a reinvestigation. I find this delay unnecessary and frustrating, especially since it is impacting me financially with no other income source available. Your prompt help in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.
