Hello,
I am experiencing problems with my Synology box as it continues to send the following messages:
"Power supply No.1 on RackStation (SN: 16C0NCN296000) has recovered"
"Power supply No.1 on RackStation (SN: 16C0NCN296000) has failed"
These messages are displaying every three to four hours consistently. Initially, I checked for any UPS issues and replaced it, but the messages persist. I am concerned that there may be a hardware problem with the unit. Can you provide me with information on this matter and if there is warranty coverage? The device is relatively new, only 1 1/2 years old.
Although I appreciate my Synology box and its performance, I want to ensure that everything is functioning correctly. It appears there is a current issue with the power supply of the Synology unit.
Thank you for your guidance.
Best regards,
Pedro O.

I am having trouble connecting to my NAS DS415 using Ethernet on Windows 10. While I can ping the NAS successfully, I am unable to access the data through File Explorer, web browsers, or DS tools on Android devices. This setup has been functioning well for years, but recently it stopped working unexpectedly.
I have already attempted various solutions suggested in online forums without success, prompting me to seek assistance here. As this NAS is crucial for my company's operations and the data inside it needs to be accessed daily, I would greatly appreciate a prompt resolution. Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello,
I own a Synology DS218 with both drives properly installed. Recently, I noticed the status light flashing orange and found that Storage Pool 1 is degraded. Despite this, I can still use the unit and write to both drives without any issues. I had a technician set up the unit to have separate volumes for each drive instead of mirroring them. One drive is used for backing up two network computers, a Mac and a Linux Cinnamon 19.1, while the other drive serves as external storage. As the unit is relatively new and was working fine before, I am puzzled by the current status. When I checked the Storage Pool Manager, the repair option was unavailable. Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue and return the status light to normal would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Kim J.
