I was charged twice for the motel room my wife and I stayed in from Thursday, July 30, [redacted], to Sunday, August 02, [redacted]. After disputing the extra charge, Ashok Patel emailed Missy Huang mentioning signed invoices for both rooms and nights. He stated they had the signed invoices, although only one exists.

Upon check-in, I discovered that the room was not clean. There was a stale odor in the air, debris on the floor, and black marks on the side of the tub. I reported these issues to the front desk and was only provided with laundry detergent to clean the tub since housekeeping had left for the day. Later, I found a cockroach infestation under the sink and several m&ms under the dehumidifier, which was very upsetting. I ended up sleeping in my car because of the situation. I would appreciate a refund or some form of compensation for this inconvenience, especially during the holidays. Thank you.

I am requesting a refund for my recent stay at the College Park, Georgia Super 8 due to the unacceptable conditions I experienced. After undergoing surgery, I had a flight delay that led me to stay there unwillingly. The cleanliness at this location does not meet the expected Super 8 standards. I found dirty linens, a coffee pot with wet grounds inside, and urine around the toilet base. I initially spoke with the manager but unfortunately, the follow-up was unsatisfactory.

During our stay at the Super8 in Danville, Kentucky in June for a work project, we encountered a troubling issue. After moving to a different motel, the Super8 unexpectedly charged my card almost $[redacted] for two rooms. Despite presenting proof of staying elsewhere, the front desk clerk shifted blame to corporate and did not provide access to the owner or anyone else for resolution. Acknowledging the mistake, they failed to facilitate the refund process or provide contact information for follow-up. This recurring issue, known among the local community, suggests a deeper problem. As a parent supporting two children, the withheld $[redacted] is crucial. Should the refund not be issued promptly, escalating this matter to the news and the Attorney General seems necessary. This situation demands attention and resolution to prevent others from facing similar financial difficulties.

During our stay in June at Super8 in Danville, KY, we were shocked to discover an unauthorized charge of almost $[redacted] for 2 rooms when we moved to a different motel. Despite the front desk clerk admitting the mistake, I have been unable to reach the owner or anyone else for resolution. This situation has not only caused financial strain, but I have also learned from others in the community that similar incidents have occurred before. I am determined to get my hard-earned money back promptly. If a resolution is not reached soon, I am prepared to escalate this matter to the news channel and the Attorney General's office. The lack of effort by the hotel to address this issue is concerning, especially when it impacts my ability to support my two children. I urgently demand the return of my money. Thank you. R. During our work trip to Danville, KY in June, my family and I stayed at Super8 for about a month. When we moved to another motel, they unexpectedly charged nearly $[redacted] to my card without permission. The front desk clerk blamed the corporate office and refused to connect me with the owner. No efforts have been made to refund the erroneous charge, despite acknowledgment of the mistake. I have not been provided with any contact information for resolving this issue. After speaking with others in the area, I discovered similar incidents have occurred. I am adamant that this is not a mere error. It seems like someone is unlawfully keeping hard-earned money from guests. If the situation is not rectified promptly, I will involve the news channel and contact the Attorney General. This $[redacted] is vital for supporting my children.

In July, my husband and I rented rooms at Super 8 in Danville, KY for about a month. On the day we checked out, they charged me over $[redacted] without my authorization and even in the absence of my card. My bank statement indicates we checked into another hotel on the same day. When I contacted the front desk about the unauthorized charge, the clerk was unhelpful and did not pass me to a manager. She acknowledged the charges but shifted blame to corporate. Despite paying thousands for our stay, the clerk was rude and unwilling to assist. I have heard similar complaints from others. I demand a refund promptly as this unauthorized charge is unacceptable. I am prepared to escalate this issue to the Attorney General and the news if necessary. I can provide bank statements and further details if needed. Thank you. - Rebecca N.

During June, my family stayed at Super8 in Danville, KY for about a month due to work commitments. Upon our departure to another motel, we were unexpectedly charged nearly $[redacted] for two rooms, despite being quoted a weekly rate. I was shocked when the front desk clerk charged my card without consent and was unsympathetic, deflecting all responsibility to corporate. Despite admitting the error, she provided no contact information for resolution. Sadly, I discovered others facing similar situations in the community. This recurring issue raises concerns that it may not be a mere mistake but deliberate. It's distressing to think that hardworking individuals are being taken advantage of. With two children dependent on me, the $[redacted] they are holding unjustly has a significant impact on my family.

During June, my family and I stayed at the Super8 in Danville, Kentucky for work purposes. After switching to a different motel, I was surprised to see an unauthorized charge of nearly $[redacted] for our two rooms, which were supposed to be at the weekly rate. Despite showing proof that we had checked in elsewhere, the front desk clerk at the Super8 blamed the situation on corporate and did not allow me to speak to the owner or anyone else. Despite acknowledging the mistake, they have made no effort to refund the money and have not provided any contact information for resolving the issue. Upon discussing with others in the community, it seems this is a recurring problem. I refuse to believe this is a mere error, especially since I know of two others who had the same experience. If the money is not returned promptly, I will escalate this matter to the news channel and the Attorney General, as this $[redacted] is crucial for supporting my two children.

Yesterday, I spoke with a representative about an unauthorized charge at the Super 8 in Springdale, Ohio. The hotel claims it was booked through Booking.com, but this charge was not authorized by my fiancée, Lauren Ann Bauer, who used her PNC debit card. We're $46 short due to this unexpected charge, which forced us to sleep in our car. The hotel insists on the payment. Please assist us with this issue. The charge was made on November 24th, [redacted]. We were informed it was a bank hold, but our bank denied it. We were not allowed to stay unless we paid again. Kindly reach out to me at [redacted] or [redacted]. Thank you, Steve Hutchinson.

During our recent stay at Super 8 Indianapolis South, my family had a disappointing experience. The room had an unpleasant odor, possibly due to ongoing construction. We requested a bath drain stopper and pillow multiple times but received them late. The refrigerator froze all our food, the key card kept malfunctioning, and a neighboring dog caused a disturbance. Despite our complaints to the front desk about these issues, we were not offered a room change or refund. The noise from the dog continued late into the night, and with the police involved due to the owner's absence, we felt unsafe. The cleanliness of the hotel was subpar with stains on the floors and mouse droppings behind the toilet. I have evidence of these conditions to support my complaint. We are extremely dissatisfied with our stay and would like a refund or credit for a different hotel. Thank you for addressing these concerns.

During check-in, the manager was in a heated argument with a guest over the pet policy. I was in a nonsmoking room with my elderly mom, but it smelled strongly of smoke, and the doors were left wide open at 10 pm, which made me uncomfortable about security. The room was also dirty, so I had to relocate my mom to a different hotel. To make matters worse, my card was charged four times erroneously. This was an awful experience for me, and despite wanting to leave that night, it was too late and my priority was finding a pet-friendly hotel for my mom. I ended up paying for two hotels, which was not what I had planned, and I don't believe I should be charged at all considering the circumstances.

I frequently choose to stay at Super 8 locations, but the one in Helena, Montana was a disappointment. The motel appeared rundown with dirty carpets full of cigarette burns and numerous burn holes in the bathroom Lino. What's alarming is the outside entrance door was not locked, making room keys pointless since the locking mechanism had been removed. This poses a safety risk for guests and needs urgent attention. This stay left me feeling quite dissatisfied, something I rarely experience when traveling. Thank you.

I made a reservation at Super 8 in Salem, OR, located at [redacted] Hawthorne. I inquired about the final rate, including all taxes and fees, over the phone, and was quoted $84. However, upon arrival for check-in, I was surprised by an additional 30% charge that I couldn't afford, even with a veteran discount. Online, the price was only $60, and I was informed that booking through them would result in a $[redacted] hold on my card. I believe the staff member I dealt with was dishonest and lacked respect and professionalism. I feel my reservation was mishandled, and my credit card information was misused. I request appropriate action be taken and suggest hiring staff with better customer service skills. Alternatively, I would appreciate a complimentary night stay at the Super 8 in Corvallis, OR, where I have previously had positive experiences.

I want to share my recent experience with a reservation issue at Super 8 in Bloomington, Indiana. I reserved a room for two nights through Booking.com for 3/9/19-3/10/19 but had to cancel post the 24-hour policy. Crystal from the hotel contacted me on 3/09/19 regarding my check-in status. Despite providing my Booking.com confirmation number, they claimed they never received the cancellation email and charged me $[redacted].38. After Handling the situation with Booking.com and Crystal, the charges weren't refunded. Crystal mentioned a new $67.19 charge as incidentals, which I disputed since I had cancelled the reservation. Communication with Crystal was difficult, and she hung up on me. Booking.com clarified that the cancellation email was sent promptly. I was frustrated with the extra charge and the lack of accountability. I hope this gets resolved as soon as possible.

During my stay at the Super 8 hotel in Buena Vista, Colorado on March 13th, I had an unsettling encounter with a front desk agent. I unintentionally entered an employees only area due to a poorly marked door being open. When the clerk aggressively questioned me, I suggested he should close the door for better visibility. This angered him, leading to threats of eviction and aggressive behavior. The situation escalated as he followed me to my room, continuing to intimidate me. Feeling unsafe, I had to lock my door and consider leaving the hotel. The clerk's behavior was confrontational and unacceptable, leaving me emotionally shaken. I hope this feedback helps prevent similar incidents for others in the future.

Hello, my name is Errami Marzouk. I am from Belgium and will be visiting NYC in a couple of days. I have booked a stay at a Super 8 in Mahwah with the intention of renting a car to commute to NYC daily. However, I have had to cancel the car rental due to the parking limitations in NYC, making it challenging to travel daily. The bus ride from Mahwah to NYC takes an hour and is costly, at almost $[redacted] for me and my wife. I am now seeking assistance in changing to a hotel closer to NYC. Unfortunately, my current booking is non-refundable, but I am willing to pay any price difference if necessary. Thank you for your support.

We encountered multiple issues during our stay. We paid for a week starting 5/30 after being told the pool was open, which turned out to be false. The Wi-Fi was also down until yesterday, and the cable consistently had limited channels with no cartoons for our children. The linens were unclean, and the manager was very rude when we tried to address these issues. We requested a refund, which was denied. We experienced a 10-hour water outage yesterday. We feel we deserve compensation or additional days at the motel's expense. We hope for resolution soon so our children might come and stay with us.
Sincerely,
Ed and Amey M.

After a long day at the beach, my two tired, hungry children and I arrived at Super 8 located at [redacted] 50 Ave, Red Deer, Alberta on July 12, [redacted], in room [redacted]. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of our room was lacking. There was a foul smell, and we found men's black winter gloves inside the room. The microwave had remnants of an old food explosion, so we couldn't warm up our pizza. Additionally, we couldn't make coffee due to no supplies and used coffee grounds in the coffee maker. With just one bath towel, one face cloth, and two hand towels for three people, it was a challenge to shower after our beach day. Lastly, the key cards only worked sporadically, requiring me to seek assistance to re-enter the room multiple times.

My spouse and I stayed at a Motel 8 in Lamar, MO, and had a great experience. Thinking it would be similar, we booked a stay at the Super 8 in Carthage, MO, closer to work. After having breakfast and bringing some food back to the room for our toddler before dropping her off, I was reprimanded by the manager for this. Despite following their rules, I was told I couldn't eat in the room. This led to a disappointing confrontation, with the manager even suggesting a refund. Ultimately, I cancelled work, packed up, and got a refund. The manager's attitude and the restrictions on food in the room conflicted with the amenities like the refrigerator and microwave available. Spending $[redacted] for a weekly stay, we felt mistreated and dissatisfied, not a place I would recommend to others.
