Order Summary: Two Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki Subs with Artisan Italian Bread, toasted, provolone cheese, all veggies except spinach, and peppercorn ranch sauce. (Placed on September 5th, [redacted], at 1:10 PM)
Issue: Incomplete Subway Orders and Poor Customer Service
Requested Resolution: Refund for the unfulfilled orders
Detailed Problem:
My spouse and I placed two separate orders at the Subway location on [redacted] Dequindre Rd, Warren, MI [redacted], using the Subway App's Buy One Get One 50% off promotion. One order was for Mourin Haque and used the email [redacted], and the other for Dilara Begum with the email [redacted] Upon arrival at the store for pickup, the staff claimed they didn't have our orders from the app, despite our confirmation emails. After some back and forth, they couldn't substitute the teriyaki chicken we ordered, first offering steak as an alternative, then claiming to be out of that too. Frustrated, we asked for a refund but were told we had to cancel it ourselves, which wasn't possible through the app. Disappointed with the service, we left the store without our orders and seek a refund for this unsatisfactory experience.

I enjoy Subway, but when I recently visited to buy two footlongs using a buy one get one free coupon, I encountered issues. The code scanner failed to read the coupon, resulting in me having to pay full price for both. Additionally, one of the sandwiches was incorrect once I got home. When I called the store, the staff member advised me to return so she could address it. I was reluctant to make the trip back due to the inconvenience. I simply wanted to inform them of the mistake. The employee's response made me feel accused of dishonesty. Furthermore, I did not receive a receipt, adding to the frustration. It would be beneficial to provide better training to enhance customer service as the employees appeared unhappy during my visit.

I visited Subway store #[redacted]-0 at [redacted] Ogden Street in Somerset, Kentucky. I was assisted by employee [redacted] on 9/13/22 at 12:44 p.m. The transaction ID is 1/a-[redacted].
Upon payment for my turkey and steak and cheese footlongs, I experienced a double charge issue. The cashier insisted the payment didn't go through despite the screen indicating otherwise. Consequently, I was charged $22.98 twice. After discussing with different staff members at the store, I was directed to handle the matter with my bank or MasterCard. However, my bank advised me that the responsibility rests with the merchant to resolve the double charge. I was informed that it could take up to 45 days to investigate the charge and no guarantee of a refund. I enjoy Subway's products and have been a long-time customer. I hope this matter can be rectified promptly by refunding the overcharged amount of $22.98.

I visited a Subway restaurant where an employee displayed a very negative attitude. During my visit with my mother-in-law, wife, and daughter, while ordering food for my family, the employee prepared our food with a poor attitude. When I tried to pay, she asked me to step away from the register and stand elsewhere, causing my wife to become upset. As a result, my family and I left the store without our food. The employee's behavior was unwelcoming and judgmental, making me feel embarrassed and wrongly accused. This experience was something I have never encountered before, and I found it very upsetting. The whole encounter was captured on camera, and I hope that it can serve as a lesson on how employees should treat paying customers respectfully.

My spouse and I visited Subway in Calabash at around 3 P.M. today and encountered a rude employee named Josh. We brought our small Pomeranian puppy with us, holding him in my arms. Despite regularly bringing our dog in while ordering to go, Josh insisted we take the dog outside, claiming it was against the law to have pets in the restaurant. The store was empty aside from us. The female employee making our sandwiches didn't mention the dog. The situation escalated due to Josh's authoritative and cocky behavior. Concerns about hygiene were raised regarding employees not wearing hairnets, especially with facial hair like Josh's falling near the open sandwiches. We decided to leave without our sandwiches and won't return to this specific Subway location due to the employee's rude behavior. We plan to inform our friends and neighbors about this unpleasant experience. Marianne and Joe F. Keep our names undisclosed, especially from the employee Josh.

I am disappointed that there is no option to pay with cash in-store upon pick-up. As a low-income customer, this is unfair as it disqualifies me from any deals or promotions, making it challenging for me to afford a satisfying meal for myself and my mother. I only had $20 on me and couldn't even get our favorite raspberry cheesecake cookies. Another customer's kindness helped cover the remaining ยข.68 I needed. It would be great if cash-paying customers like me could also enjoy the same discounts and promotions as others. Additionally, it's frustrating that my local Subway doesn't accept their own gift cards. This policy seems unheard of and adds unnecessary stress.

Store Location:
[redacted] Wadsworth Blvd, Arvada, CO
Time:
2:00 PM
Upon entering the store, I found no one behind the counter. After waiting for about 5 minutes, I called out, "Hello, anybody here?" The staff member then emerged from behind a wall and mentioned he would assist me shortly. Several more minutes passed when another customer entered. Only then did the staff member come out and inquire about my order. I mentioned the sandwich I wanted, but when it came to choosing vegetables, an issue arose. Despite red tomatoes being available, he placed two yellow ones on my sandwich. Upon requesting red tomatoes, he appeared annoyed but eventually switched them. While completing the sandwich, he expressed that I shouldn't give him a hard time and that he didn't have to serve me. He then threw away my sandwich, asked me to leave, and requested I not return to the store.

I entered the restaurant and waited for about a minute before greeting the employee, who was sitting on a stool looking at her phone. Another customer in the lobby started yelling at me, implying I was being rude for saying hello after waiting. They both seemed to defend each other and were unhelpful. I frequent this Subway after work, following my bank deposit drop-off. Both employees then confronted me aggressively, leading me to feel unwelcome. All I did was greet them after waiting a minute without seeing any staff around. This incident occurred around 3:22 PM at the Oakland Park facility in Fort Lauderdale. I have never felt so intimidated by employees before.

During our visit to Subway in St. Louis, Missouri, we ordered two sandwiches, one of them being a chicken teriyaki sandwich. Unfortunately, upon biting into it, we discovered the chicken was still cold. When we brought this issue to the attention of one of the employees, who was not wearing a name tag, she claimed she couldn't assist us and refused to provide her name. After requesting to speak to the manager, we were given a number to call. Upon contacting the number, we were misled by someone who claimed they were not the manager. Subsequently, the actual manager called back, but we had already left due to the poor handling of the situation. It was disappointing to encounter such unprofessionalism from both the staff and management at this Subway location, as all we wanted was a replacement sandwich. The employee even expressed dissatisfaction with the store and mentioned she was quitting. Despite these experiences, our sole desire was to have a properly made sandwich without the inconvenience we faced during this visit.

I visited your store location today, October 13, [redacted], on Thursday, at [redacted] W Silver Spring Dr, Milwaukee, WI [redacted] between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM. As an elderly woman with health concerns, I had a disappointing experience with the food attendant. I inquired about the salt content in the Turkey due to dietary restrictions, and her response was disrespectful and unfriendly, indicating I should go elsewhere. Despite asking for assistance or the manager, I was met with unhelpful behavior. This encounter was not representative of Subway's usual standards of customer service. I left the establishment feeling shaken and without dinner. I plan to call in the morning to speak with the manager regarding this issue. Thank you, Subway, for your attention to my concerns.

Last night, my girlfriend and I ordered 2 subs and 2 drinks online from Subway around 8:45 p.m. The store, according to their online information, was supposed to be open until 10 p.m. and our order was to be ready by 9:10 p.m. When we arrived at 9:10 p.m., the store was closed despite the window stickers and Google stating the correct opening hours. We returned the next morning seeking a resolution and were met with unhelpful responses from an employee who even suggested we make an additional $22 purchase to get our order. When we requested contact information for corporate or the district manager, we were told none were available. After being informed that the district manager would be present at noon, we returned for a third time and waited an hour but she never arrived.

I frequently visit Oakland Subway on Fridays with my picky eater granddaughter. She always orders a plain bologna and salami sandwich without any issue. This time, I decided to try the cold cut trio instead of my usual BMT. When I asked the girl behind the counter for the same sandwich my granddaughter usually gets, she said they don't have bologna, which I knew was incorrect due to my past experiences at various Subways, including this one in Oakland, Maine. The young woman's name was Sarah, and when I inquired about the ingredients in the cold cut trio, she was unwilling to assist and falsely claimed she didn't know. This resulted in me receiving bologna on my sandwich instead. When I called to inquire about the sandwich I received, I was told the information would be on my missing receipt. I believe that honesty is important, and Sarah could have been more truthful about the sandwich ingredients when asked.

Hello, I am reaching out concerning an incident involving an employee selling drugs in the parking lot. The lady, in her 50s, was visibly impaired, rude, and driving a new red SUV - possibly a Ford. She was smoking marijuana and exchanging bags near a green Ford F-[redacted]. Despite being confronted, she showed no concern for her job and even yelled at me. This occurred at the Marion, Ohio [redacted] location connected to the Moto-Mart. Such behavior is unacceptable for an employee, and I hope this matter is addressed promptly. Thank you and have a pleasant day.

I sustained a severe injury at the Subway located at [redacted] Crowley Road Suite [redacted] in Fort Worth, Texas. There was an incident involving a glass door missing its glass panes, causing me to trip and injure myself. Despite the seriousness of my injuries, the staff refused to call an ambulance and were disrespectful towards me. The lack of assistance and compassion from the employees was shocking, especially considering the extent of my injuries, which included a concussion and whiplash. The incident occurred on November 4th around 12:35 pm. I have been trying to reach out to the company for support but have not received a response. The unsympathetic behavior of the employees during such a distressing situation is unacceptable. I hope to hear from the Subway company soon to address this matter promptly. My name is Elizabeth Perez, and I can be contacted at [redacted]. Thank you for your attention to this urgent issue.

I ordered a footlong Veggie Delight sub on Italian bread with American cheese, lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, black olives, onions, banana peppers, and avocado. However, when my delivery arrived, it was missing cucumbers, onions, banana peppers, and avocado.
Upon calling the store, I was informed that they were transitioning, and some ingredients were not available. Although the staff offered a free cookie on my next purchase, I believe I should receive the correct sandwich instead of a freebie.
I paid $18.24 for a sub missing key components and was only offered a cookie as compensation. I would have preferred to be informed if they couldn't fulfill my order properly instead of being brushed off and offered a freebie. Customers deserve what they pay for, not just a token treat for a mistake.

I was terminated from the Winchester, KY Subway on November 3rd without a clear explanation. The news came through a text message on my day off after I had recently worked a triple shift and had been late a few times. Despite only having one write-up since starting on October 4th, and calling out only once, I was often asked to cover for absent co-workers, including taking on extra shifts and helping out a manager whose child was in the hospital. Despite my dedicated work ethic, my paycheck was removed from direct deposit and I was informed it would be sent by mail after the payday on November 15th. I'm hoping that someone from higher management will contact me and that the Winchester store #[redacted]-0 will pay me what I am owed, especially considering the circumstances surrounding my termination. I was going through a difficult time as I was experiencing a miscarriage and still worked diligently to cover shifts and support the team. I genuinely want to understand the reason for my sudden dismissal after all I have done for this store. Thank you and have a blessed day.

I visited Subway recently and got a sub, but unfortunately, I ended up vomiting shortly after eating it. The staff at the store argued with me, suggesting it might be something else causing my illness. I called to speak with a manager, but they said they didn't have one available. They questioned if my sandwich was toasted, stating it kills bacteria. However, I explained it was only toasted for a brief moment. I'm concerned about the possibility of contaminated veggies, as I can't eat lettuce due to it making me sick. I observed the sandwich maker touching lettuce before handling my spinach, which has left my stomach in pain ever since.

I reside in Essex, CT and had an unpleasant experience at the Subway located at [redacted] Westbrook Rd Unit 3 B. Despite receiving coupons in a flier specifically mentioning the Essex location, the owner refused to honor them when I visited on November 19th, [redacted], at 7:30 PM. He became hostile when I pointed out the flier stipulated that the coupons were valid there, and he declined to accept them. His behavior was unprofessional as he abruptly began mopping the floors. Such disregard for company policies has left me greatly dissatisfied. This encounter has deterred me from patronizing any Subway establishments in the future if the coupons are not accepted as advertised.

I visited [redacted] Main Street in Graham, North Carolina, and encountered a situation where my coupon was not accepted by the staff member on duty. I was embarrassed in front of my family as he refused to honor the coupon, citing the high cost of the steak and egg combo. The way he handled the situation made me feel like he was being disrespectful. I am seeking some form of resolution for this issue as I believe the corporate company should address such incidents. If possible, please contact me at [redacted].

My significant other went to Subway at [redacted] Summit Square Boulevard, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, store number [redacted]-0 with a coupon for buying 3 footlongs for $17.99. The coupon is redeemable at participating U.S. restaurants and has various exclusions. On December 5th, my order of two footlong steak and cheese and a footlong chicken was refused, claiming the sandwiches had to be less than $7.99 to use the coupon. Despite going to a local store as per the coupon, they didn't honor it.
I request a full refund from Subway as they didn't follow the coupon rules for my order. Because my sandwiches were not made as requested and they refused to correct the mistake, I also seek a remake of the three footlong subs meals I ordered and reimbursement for my purchase.
