An individual contacted me alleging that I had engaged in fraudulent transactions in error, implying that they intended to report someone else instead. This individual then provided me with a Steam and Discord account details, instructing me to communicate with someone claiming to be a Steam staff member who could assist with resolving the issue. Regrettably, it appears that this purported Steam representative is now requesting money from me in order to continue investigating my Steam account files. I was a victim of fraud on my bank account yesterday. Someone attempted to purchase two video games on Steam.com. One payment was declined due to insufficient funds, but a second payment is currently "on hold" awaiting validation by Steam. Despite my bank refusing to assist, Steam has not responded to my email requesting to cancel the pending transaction. I also asked for the user's ID and IP address who hacked my account. Could anyone provide me with a direct phone number for Steam support before the transaction is approved?

Hello, I purchased Hunt: Showdown around two months ago from a local site. They changed my region to Turkey and sent the game as a gift. I have been playing for 24 hours, but I encounter a lot of waiting on a screen with an error message prompting me to reconnect to the server. Hello. Yesterday, I sent a message explaining that my account was stolen and hacked. I am reaching out once more for assistance. While playing Grounded, I received a message from a friend containing a €50 code. Without much thought, I entered my Steam login details as I assumed it was from my friend. Subsequently, an email informed me that my Steam email had been altered. I find it puzzling as whenever I log into my Steam account, numerous email codes are required. In this instance, there was no email notification asking for permission to change my email associated with my account.
I attempted to recover my account by changing the password, only to end up with a new account named eduard199823 that shared the games from my original account but necessitated me to “borrow” them. The original account email, pizzaspaghetti11, had been switched to eduard199823, with my main account name altered to PizzaS11. I am concerned it could happen again. Logs should show that my account was registered with the email [redacted]
If necessary, I can provide details such as friends’ names and owned games to authenticate my ownership of the account. Kindly assist me in reclaiming my account, which I've invested significant funds in. I acknowledge my error in clicking on suspicious links, but I am only human, and mistakes can occur.
It is distressing to learn that my account is now locked, preventing me from making any alterations. I implore you to act swiftly before more of my friends are lured by the "catch 50€" message. Your prompt assistance is greatly appreciated.

I purchased a Steam account on G2A.com with Black Ops 3, but now, when trying to switch back from another account, I am unable to access it without the original user's email. Unfortunately, I don't have access to that email. I would appreciate being able to access the account and perhaps transfer the game to my main Steam account. I have been a Steam user for years and mainly use it on my desktop PC. Recently, I bought a laptop and decided to change my password, as I hadn't done so in a few years. However, upon installing Steam on my new laptop, I encountered an issue where I couldn't log in and received a "check and try again" error message. I recently bought Street Fighter 6 from India. Unfortunately, I've encountered several issues. Firstly, it took me about an hour to get past the license agreement at the start of the game. Secondly, due to my location, I struggle to find players to match with. When I do connect with players from other regions, I face a [redacted] ping which makes gameplay difficult. I received a message from a person named Tamzi on Discord claiming to have falsely reported me for fraud. He shared a screenshot instructing the erroneously reported person to contact eMiT (officially) on Discord. Suspicious of a scam, I realized I was in trouble. I promptly alerted my bank, and they closed my card for investigation, issuing a replacement. Additionally, the scammers have taken over my account, barring me from accessing it with my email or password.

Hi, I purchased 2 Steam gift cards from my local 7-Eleven on 6/29/[redacted]. The cards were already used. I have screenshots of both cards after trying to use them.
