I have been trying to resolve my son's Steam Gaming issue through various methods, with no success. Despite reaching out to Steam and other parties, we have received no response regarding the error on his account. A message accusing him of cheating in the game "[redacted]% Orange Juice" led to a ban notification. As a large company, Steam should handle such matters more responsibly, especially when it involves minors like my son. Questioning the accusation only resulted in silence from customer service, leaving us unable to defend against false claims and facing a tarnished account reputation.
I urge for prompt action to remove the ban, correct the mistake, and provide the necessary support for resolving this matter.

I purchased four $50 Steam cards totaling $[redacted]. While activating the cards, I encountered issues and called Steam for help. Calvin advised me to buy a Google Play card to transfer the funds but later requested 4 iTunes cards totaling $[redacted]. When I refused, he stopped helping, and despite my attempts to reach him, he pressured me to send the Google Play card details. I hope to get a refund for my money. This experience has made me wary of using Steam cards due to potential scams targeting unsuspecting users.

I received a VAC ban on Team Fortress 2 for allegedly hacking. While playing with a friend, I achieved a high number of headshots as a sniper. Later, after a good gaming session, I went to sleep. The following morning, I was surprised to see a VAC ban notification, which cannot be appealed. It feels unfair to be penalized for my gaming skills instead of being appreciated. This invalid VAC ban has limited my ability to purchase games and interact with others. I kindly request the removal of this ban from my account. Thank you for addressing this issue.

I purchased Monster Hunter World for the PC last night. Unfortunately, the game is in a terrible state and I would like to request information on how to remove it from my library and seek a refund. My son needs to decide by this evening whether he wants to keep it, but the mouse controls for PC are very poor, making it difficult to play. I spent several hours attempting to resolve this issue. Despite the problematic gameplay, Steam declined my refund request, citing it as a reason. As a result, we have decided not to purchase games from Steam in the future due to selling faulty products even when aware of the issues.

Hello, I'm Jayden Redd. Recently, I returned to using Steam after an extended period of absence. Upon reviewing my account, I discovered unauthorized purchases for games that do not interest me. I am seeking a refund as I expect the same level of customer support provided to others when a mistake occurs that is not on our end. The games in question are Garry's Mod, Terraria, and Borderlands 2. Steam also shows playtime on these games, which is impossible as my computer was unable to run even basic games during that period. I hope my refund request will be addressed promptly to avoid any further issues.

Hello, my name is Jayden Redd, and I play on PC through Steam using the account name ReddShadowYT. I recently reengaged with Steam after a period of inactivity. Upon reviewing my account, I noticed unauthorized purchases for games I do not enjoy and have never played. I am seeking a refund due to these erroneous charges, as I believe I should receive the same level of customer support as anyone else in this situation. The games in question are Garry's Mod, Terraria, and Borderlands 2. Additionally, Steam indicates playtime on these games, which is not possible as my computer was incapable of running them during that period. I hope for a prompt resolution to this matter to avoid any further complications. Thank you.

I have been continuously stalked by a player in Team Fortress Classic for the past 6 years. It's disruptive and distressing to have this person following me from server to server every day. This individual has even gone as far as recruiting others to harass me, resulting in bizarre deliveries and unwanted visitors at my house. Despite involving the police, the situation persists with prank calls and unsettling in-game messages. I believe the offender possesses multiple Steam accounts, and I am disappointed by the lack of response from Steam when I reported this issue. The player's Steam ID is "STEAM_0:0:[redacted]" and my ID is "kevinc720." I urge Steam to take action by either removing the harasser's accounts or implementing measures to cease the harassment. It is unfair to be deprived of an enjoyable gaming experience due to persistent bullying and harassment. I hope for a resolution to this distressing situation promptly. Thank you. - Kevin M. Conklin

It seems like the customer is frustrated with Steam's lack of phone support and the difficulty in recovering their hacked account. They express concern over the responsibility of protecting their account but feel let down by the lack of support. They also mention exploring other platforms with better customer service options. They emphasize the importance of changing passwords regularly and utilizing two-step verification for added security. The customer recounts their experience of losing access to their account and shares their disappointment in Steam's response. They stress the significance of keeping records of transactions and having supportive friends to vouch for their account ownership. Despite feeling let down by Steam, they advise others to be cautious and prepared for potential hacking incidents.

Approximately a week ago, my account was compromised. I am unsure about the method used, but I fell victim to a scam by the individual who breached my account. Deceived into believing I was transferring items to a legitimate third-party site like Marketplace.TF, I was in reality transferring them to the scammer's alternate account. Subsequently, I unknowingly made purchases for in-game items which were diverted to the scammer, resulting in a loss of $[redacted] AUD in real money and around $[redacted] AUD worth of items. Although I have successfully regained access to my account, I am encountering challenges when trying to report the perpetrator. While I have already submitted a report to Steam customer support for fraudulent activities, I am yet to receive any feedback. Through my Steam account, I can identify the various user accounts of the scammer, and evidence in my email messages exhibits the theft and recovery of my Steam account. I am eager for the scammer to be banned from Steam, a process that requires cooperation from Steam support.

About a year ago, my account was compromised, resulting in a game ban being issued due to the actions of the hijacker. As a longtime user of Steam for six years and having invested significantly in games, it is frustrating to have a negative mark on my account. Reviewing the details around the time of the game ban will show that there were substantial changes to my account, including the email, password, and IP address, all of which were later reverted to the original information. While some may attribute this to my lack of security, the breach actually occurred due to false information provided to Steam Support by the hijacker, leading to them gaining control. I acknowledge that game bans are at the discretion of the game developer, not Valve, and while I don't request the removal of the ban, I kindly ask for it to be hidden from public view on my profile to avoid unfair judgment. Concealing the game ban would be greatly appreciated, even if it remains in effect. Thank you.

I had trouble logging into my Steam account tonight to play Darwin Project. When I tried to change my password, it didn't recognize my email. Upon using my username, I noticed the email address had been changed to v**********@r******.r* instead of [redacted] To validate my ownership, the most recent transaction should show a purchase of 5 Rocket League keys for $5. I don't have the credit card details, but I know it belongs to Andrea Kreft (my mom) with an expiration date of 09/20.

My girlfriend gifted me Monster Hunter World for my birthday, intending for us to play together. However, the game didn't meet our expectations. I've encountered connection issues since downloading it. Despite wanting to refund it, Steam indicates I've surpassed the minimum refund time. With only 4 hours of playtime, the initial hour was primarily cutscenes and character creation. I advised my girlfriend to rush through character setup due to the lengthy start and issues with plugging in a controller, causing the game to glitch on PC. It took me 2 hours to input my character's name. We both feel the game isn't worth its price, even if a full refund isn't possible. Keeping the game seems pointless since neither of us will play it. We hope to get the money back on either her or my Steam account.

Hello Steam support team,
I am currently facing issues recovering my account. I received a suspicious link from a friend on Steam named "Bullet4Breakfast." My Steam account name is "SansFromFacebook | trade.tf." Upon clicking the link, my mobile authenticator was removed, and my password was changed. I realized the link led to gaming trading websites like "Scrap.tf" and "backpack.tf." I attempted to recover my account, but the verification code was sent to the scammer's email instead of mine. I clicked on "I no longer have access to this email address," but now I receive a message that my account is already locked. Please send the verification code to my real email "[redacted]" to ensure my account's safety. I am concerned about losing my belongings. Your prompt assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Dear Unknown,
I am concerned about the presence of cheating players in the PC version of GRID 2. Many times I have won races only to be unfairly put in last place due to disconnections and hacks such as "speed/weight/spin me out." It seems that Codemasters lacks an Anti-Cheat system for GRID 2, a problem that has persisted since the game's online debut in [redacted]. Forums are full of similar complaints, as cheaters continue to ruin the experience for honest players. I kindly request for my level to be boosted to 30 so I can enjoy the game without unfair disadvantages.
Thank you,
Unhappy Customer

I have requested a refund for a game I bought on Steam recently as the price has dropped, and I want to repurchase it at the lower price with a discount code. I submitted a ticket, but I am still waiting for a response from Steam. The ticket system confirmed my eligibility for a refund, yet I am stuck waiting. I am eager to play the game, but I am aware that if I exceed two hours of playtime, I may not be able to get a refund. I hope to resolve this quickly so I can enjoy the game tonight. Thank you for your assistance. - T.

I've encountered significant issues with a game I purchased called Empyrion. My latest concern led me to the Empyrion discussion on Steam, where I initiated a thread titled, "How do you EAT?" Since the game is labeled a "Galactic Survival Game," I believed understanding this feature was crucial. Despite investing six hours in gameplay, I couldn't grasp it. After engaging in discussion and anticipating support, my entire post was unexpectedly removed. I am deeply frustrated and feel a new level of violation. Now, I possess a unplayable game without the possibility of a refund past the two-hour limit on Steam. I feel silenced and deprived of seeking comfort amidst this turmoil. I am bewildered as to who removed my post and for what reason. Steam permitting such silencing of my voice and genuine concerns without any inappropriate behavior is perplexing. I seek clarifications and accountability. If unresolved, I am determined to persist until I find answers.

74 days ago, I encountered a csgo trading site while preparing to play CSGO. Curious to explore it, I logged in through steam, not realizing it was a fraudulent platform. Unfortunately, my account was compromised, leading to a ban for being major disruptive in CSGO. Despite feeling frustrated, I sought help from steam support, and my account was recovered. However, the imposed ban still persists. I have researched extensively and discovered conflicting information about the ban's permanence. Despite the challenges, I am determined to clear my name and regain access to my account. I have witnesses who can attest that I was a victim of account hijacking and never engaged in cheating behavior.

During a CSGO competitive match, my friend and I encountered a player named "For Mighty Ducks 2" who threatened to hack various gaming accounts. Initially dismissing it as a joke, I quickly found myself booted off my Steam Account. Thanks to my email and Steam authenticator, I was able to recover it. Concerned for me, my friend added the hacker, who then targeted him as well. I intervened, offering skins in exchange for safety, and we proceeded to block and unfriend the hacker. I request an IP ban and involvement of authorities due to the severity of these actions. Thank you, Valve, for the support.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am encountering various issues with my Steam account and have been unsuccessful in reaching Steam support. Despite my attempts on different browsers and devices, the problem persists.
My previous contacts with Steam support did not yield any response or confirmation emails, leading me to believe my support requests are not getting through.
Considering creating a new account, I am concerned about losing my purchased content. Is it feasible to transfer content licenses like game keys and soundtrack keys from my current malfunctioning account to a new one before deleting the old account?
As a last resort, I have sought help from a third-party website to approach Steam support. The lack of customer service has left me frustrated, prompting me to seek alternative solutions.
I kindly request your attention to this matter and appreciate a response at your earliest convenience.
Regards,
K.R.

Hello, my name is Alex, and I am reaching out to Valve/Steam regarding a VAC ban I received while playing CS:GO. I am aware that the website states this issue is "non-negotiable." However, I want to explain my situation. While playing CS:GO, I was using the "Play.tv" recording software to record my gameplay. After approximately 20 minutes, I got disconnected and received a VAC ban notification. I checked my programs on Steam and noticed that the only one that could conflict with the game was CCleaner. I have recordings from before the ban that I can provide to Valve if needed. I am puzzled as to why I was banned and would appreciate any clarification.
