My nephew almost fell for a scam. He was instructed to purchase a $[redacted] steam card from Walmart. Thankfully, I intervened before he revealed the card's details. None of us in the family use Steam, so we need a refund. I returned the card to Walmart, and they advised visiting the website on the back to request a refund. We seek a cash refund, not store credit. Can someone assist us in getting the money back for the unused steam card, please?

I downloaded Path of Exile on Monday without any login issues in the game. However, I am experiencing trouble accessing the website's main page. Whenever I try to log in using my account created through Steam, it either does not recognize my information or notifies me that I have made too many login attempts. This issue has been ongoing since around 6 pm Eastern yesterday. I believe there might be a straightforward solution to this problem, and I would be grateful for any assistance provided.

I'm facing a complex issue with my Steam account that I hope someone can help me with. Originally, my brother gifted me the account using his email address, which I believe is still associated with it. Since he's away at college now and hard to reach, I can't get the email address from him for verification. During a vacation to Russia, we had to use my mom's Russian phone number for the authenticator to trade CS:GO skins because my American number wouldn't work there. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to that phone number. This problem arose when I accidentally deleted Steam from my phone, and I'm stuck without access to the other phone number. Without knowing my brother's purchasing details or the initial email used, I'm at a loss. I've provided my personal email for communication. Thank you.

My account seems to have been accessed by an IP address in France. The email and phone number linked to the account have been altered or removed. The password was changed long ago, and now I am unable to reach Steam Support. I suspect the hacker is bombarding Steam Support with recovery requests using a bot, blocking my attempts to recover the account. I have tried twice to no avail. I am unsure how to regain access to my account or get in touch with support.

I encountered an issue purchasing a DLC for Destiny. When trying to buy it on my phone, the transaction got stuck at checkout, so I canceled it, and it became pending. I then attempted the purchase on my uncle's computer, but I received a message stating I need to wait to make another purchase due to multiple attempts. How can I bypass this wait and proceed with buying it now to join my friends tonight?

Dear Community, I live in Norway and am seeking information on how to implement a region lock or server selector for CSGO. The presence of toxic players, especially Russian players, in casual games and matchmaking has severely impacted my enjoyment of the game. The lack of strategy, coordination, and communication from these players is disruptive to everyone's experience. If this issue persists, myself and others may have to consider quitting the game altogether. I believe that segregating servers based on regions could potentially address this problem. I hope the game developers are aware of this issue and are working towards a solution. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Dear Steam Support, I encountered a problem while playing DOTA 2. My in-game name is Cyka McBlyat. Yesterday, I was banned and now I am required to win 3 Single Drafts without the ability to chat during the game. I believe I have not violated any rules or engaged in negative behavior towards my team in ranked matches. In fact, I even muted other players to avoid any confrontations. I am perplexed as to why I was reported and subsequently banned unfairly. It seems my team may have reported me without just cause, and I urge you to review this situation. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this ban, as it is causing me frustration and does not appear to be just. I look forward to your prompt attention to this matter. Sincerely, Leonardo S

I have been struggling for about two hours trying to launch my game (WWE 2K15). Initially, it wouldn't open, so I assumed it needed an update. However, upon checking for updates, there was none needed. I searched online for possible solutions, but none of them worked. Feeling frustrated, I decided to uninstall and reinstall the game. Surprisingly, it disappeared from my library after a popup message. Now, the game is nowhere to be found on Steam. I am increasingly frustrated as there seems to be no helpline number available to speak with a human and resolve this issue.

I am concerned about my Steam wallet Gift Card being redeemed by someone else and I would like to find out who and when it happened. Here is the card code for reference: J5A2V NGFHD ONDDY. I intended to trade it for bitcoin on Paxful but now need to address this issue first. I have been a loyal customer and this is the first time I have encountered a problem with a Steam wallet Gift Card. Assistance in identifying the redemption details would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am inquiring about the redemption of my Steam wallet Gift Card. Another individual has already redeemed it, and I would like to identify who used it and when it was claimed. The card code is J5A2V-NGFHD-ONDDY. This information is crucial as I intend to exchange the value for bitcoin on Paxful. Please provide screenshots displaying the redemption details. I have been a loyal customer of your services, and this is my first encounter with an issue related to my Steam wallet Gift Card. Your assistance in identifying the redeemer and the redemption date is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I previously had an account on Steam named haxerq linked to the email [redacted] Unfortunately, my email was compromised, and passwords for various sites, including Steam, were changed. I now have a new account named lemonshark444, but it does not include the games I bought on haxerq. Upon checking, haxerq seems to be associated with a different unfamiliar email, presumably the one used by the hacker. I need assistance recovering my haxerq account with all my purchased games.

Hello, I'm Kimberly Shedlock. I bought three of your steam cards from my local Walmart - two $10-$[redacted] cards with $[redacted] each and one $50 card. When I tried to use them, they all showed as already redeemed. This has happened before to me and some of my friends too. I have tried calling but got nowhere. I need help with this issue. Please contact me via text or call so I can provide the card numbers under the silver strip and the production card numbers. Losing $[redacted] is a lot of money. Thank you.

Hello, I am experiencing difficulties downloading applications and games on Steam. The downloads reach 99% completion before the speed drops to 0, resulting in an error message. This issue occurs specifically with games like CSGO and Destiny 2, while others such as Muse Dash and Rainbow Six Siege download without any problems. I have attempted various troubleshooting steps such as clearing the download cache, deleting depotcache and related folders in the steamapps directory. Despite these efforts, I have not been able to resolve the issue. Any assistance would be greatly welcomed. Thank you, thunderbunni

My account "Havis15" was stolen. The email associated with it was changed to a Russian one, but I managed to recover my original email, [redacted] I have some payment confirmations to prove my ownership. The username is similar to my email, which was used to create the account. I have a few friends on Steam, such as MrPsycho, Tytan (or Tytaniusz), and Piotrkozo. The stolen account had games like Risk of Rain 2, Portal 2, Borderlands 2, and Warhammer Vermintide 2. Although the account is not very valuable, I would appreciate any assistance in recovering it. Thank you.

I fell victim to a scam by a person who goes by the name "nonodudeyouarehehe" and had a fidget spinner in his profile picture. He posed as my friend, then changed his name to "bloody scooby doo" after taking my CS:GO knife. Later on, he scammed someone else and reverted back to "nonodudeyouarehehe." I am staying vigilant in case he changes his name again. I am unsure how he ended up on my friends list. The knife he took was a Navaja Urban Mask Field-Tested. This individual has a blank profile with no details. I reported the incident to Steam, but I am seeking further assistance.

My husband, who has Alzheimer's, spends a lot of time playing his Steam games, but he's unable to log into his account. Despite multiple attempts to fix it, I keep receiving verification codes and messages about changing his password successfully, only to find out it still doesn't work. I've reached out to support, providing our credit card details, but have not received a response. It seems like he may have multiple accounts, including one under [redacted], which should be the correct one. I'm feeling frustrated after spending hours trying to resolve this by verifying pictures, entering letters, and changing passwords, with no success. He just needs one account with all his games and a single password. I'm eagerly waiting for a solution in my email at [redacted]

Yesterday, on October 5th at 10:00 pm, I encountered a scam on Steam. A user claimed to want to trade items with me, requesting three of my items in exchange for one of theirs. They instructed me to trade my items to a friend for a supposed verification screenshot, which turned out to be false. Upon completing this trade, the scammer managed to accept the items without a direct trade. Surprisingly, this occurred despite my two-step authentication security measures. I kindly request assistance in recovering my valuable items - two CS:GO guns and one CS:GO knife. These items were not only costly but also required extensive time and effort to acquire. Thank you for any help in resolving this matter.

Hello, I am currently playing The Hunter Classic and was interested in making a purchase in the game. I had deposited funds into my Steam wallet for this purpose. However, when I clicked on an item that was not listed in regular dollars, it automatically bought it without displaying the price beforehand. The item seems to be priced at around $45 in American dollars for some sort of animal caller, which is quite expensive for a virtual item. I would appreciate it if this purchase could be reversed as it was a mistake. I make frequent purchases on Steam and would be grateful for your assistance in resolving this matter. Additionally, it would be helpful if the prices could be displayed in American currency to avoid confusion in the future. Thank you. - PH-salde386

I was falsely reported for having duplicates, but the person realized their mistake. They told me to discuss the ban issue with someone, which I did. When we spoke about the duplicates, I explained that I acquired them legitimately through buying, playing, and trading in the game. They mentioned a $50 payment, but being 17 without a job and alone at home while my parents are away, I can't easily cover that cost. Right before our discussion could continue, I was unexpectedly kicked out of the account previously owned by my older brother.

I had an issue where a person mistakenly reported me for duplication when they weren't looking at my items properly. They contacted me and asked me to send a friend request/message to someone to avoid getting banned. I complied and started a conversation, but I got logged out automatically in the middle of it and couldn't resume. I obtained my items legitimately - one was a gift from a friend, I purchased two, and the rest are from the game. I hope this matter can be resolved soon.
