After much deliberation, I finally decided to download the game Rust. Unfortunately, the game crashed after loading for two hours, which led me to restart the process. Despite playing for only 36 minutes, I realized this was not how I wanted to spend my time. I requested a refund but was denied due to exceeding the two-hour limit. I submitted another ticket with a detailed explanation, but my refund request was rejected once more. My attempts to reach out on Twitter have gone unanswered for over 11 hours, and calling the support number was not helpful as they do not provide telephone support. A resolution I seek is a refund. I intend to use the refunded amount on Steam.

On April 2, [redacted], my account was disconnected from my phone and email, and the password was changed. It just occurred about 10 minutes ago from my current local time of 7:03 PM GMT +11. I suspect it was due to my error of logging into my Steam account on another external website. When I realized I was logged out, I checked my associated email and phone, and they were logged out as well. I am reporting this to Steam in hopes they can resolve the issue swiftly. It appears the hacker used a Russian IP address. Username: Zuluassault Display name: Tohka-chan Please assist me in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you.

I recently received the latest crate, Prisma, and attempted to sell it on the community market due to its decreasing value. However, I'm frustrated by the 15-day waiting period imposed by the system for each item I list. It's disappointing that despite installing Steam Guard, my account ownership is still not being verified properly. Valve's account management is lacking, making it difficult to report such issues directly on their platform, which ends up being inconvenient. Hopefully, they can streamline their processes for a smoother user experience.

I purchased Disney Infinity 3 through my STEAM account. After a lengthy download and installation process, I encountered an error message stating my laptop's video card does not support Compute Shading, rendering the game unplayable. I promptly requested a refund from STEAM to credit my account, but I have not received any response or refund in the past few days since the issue occurred on Sunday, March 31st. As today is Tuesday, April 2nd, I am still awaiting assistance. I kindly ask for help in getting a refund so I can purchase a different game that is compatible with my system. Thank you.

I have contacted Steam twice regarding this issue and am now cooperating with my bank to dispute a refund. My bank suggested that I reach out to Steam again before finalizing the dispute. Despite multiple attempts to contact customer service through phone and online methods, I have not received assistance for a game purchased on 4/2/19. I have experienced screen freezes, crashes, and restarts during half of my playtime, making the game unplayable due to software bugs. My PC exceeds the game requirements. Although Steam denies a refund based on playtime, the count is inaccurate as it includes time spent dealing with technical issues. I request a refund of $37.03 for a faulty product. I have been a loyal Steam customer for over 8 years and encountered similar refund issues with only one other game (ARC) in that time.

While playing Rocket League on one tab, I was engaged in trading items including a mainframe decal, orange Nimbus car, white painted standard boost, grey zombas, forest green turbines, and 10 keys on another tab. Suddenly, these valuable items disappeared during the trade, and I noticed my car changing without them. Additionally, I had received a message indicating unauthorized account access moments before the incident. I'm reaching out because I have invested a significant amount of time in the game and this loss is disappointing. I kindly request the return of these items to rectify the situation and assure you that I will take immediate action if I receive any suspicious account alerts in the future. You can contact me in-game under the username Sam67. If my items are not returned, I will stop playing Rocket League altogether. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Thank you.

I believe my Steam account has been compromised. A change was made from a computer in Russia, but I am located in Kansas, USA. My account got locked, and I suspect hacking. I need assistance to recover it urgently. I initially requested support for changing my password, not realizing that my account had been hacked. I reported this issue but did not receive a response via email. I am worried because this account holds a significant amount of money and my game collection built over years. Kindly advise on how to regain access and secure my account. Your prompt help is greatly appreciated.

My friend's account got hacked today by an unknown person who spammed promocodes for free skins. After a few hours, the hacker changed the account name to something in Russian meaning "children's home." When I called them on Steam, they claimed they only spoke Russian and seemed to be around 9 years old. They couldn't understand me and eventually blocked me. I'm looking for assistance in tracking them down and taking appropriate action.

I have attempted to request a refund for a malfunctioning game on two occasions. Unfortunately, my refund requests were rejected based on exceeding the 2-hour gameplay limit. Despite providing a detailed description of the issue, the responses received felt dismissive, with a denial issued within an hour of my initial request at 2:24 PM, and a reply received at 3:20 PM. I am seeking assistance earnestly and not attempting to cause trouble. I simply wish to have a refund for a non-functional game. The repetitive automated responses are becoming frustrating, and I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to converse with a human representative rather than receiving automated replies from a non-responsive email.

Twice in the last month, the Elder Scrolls Online has been automatically removed from my laptop by the Steam validation software. Today, during my morning play session, the validation process took significantly longer than usual. Much like the previous occurrence, I realized that all files associated with Elder Scrolls had vanished from my hard drive. Despite attempting to seek help through online support, I encountered an issue where generating a necessary report failed, prompting an error message instructing me to contact the support team for assistance. I am seeking guidance on how to prevent the validation software from consistently removing the game that I purchased. It is peculiar that this software exclusively targets this specific game on my laptop.

I recently bought a factory-sealed copy of Mafia 3 from Target, though it's an older game. After holding onto it for a month, I decided to play it to cheer myself up after a rough day. Upon inputting the product code, it stated it was already used, adding to my frustration. When attempting to contact customer support, I was met with an unhelpful automated service. I am willing to provide proof of purchase with the receipt and images of the game package to rectify this. Receiving a valid code at no cost will restore my confidence in purchasing your software. Over the years, I have been a loyal customer, but this experience has been discouraging. I urge you to establish better customer service channels to prevent such issues from driving away customers like myself. Your prompt resolution of this matter would greatly appease my dissatisfaction.

I purchased Rust on Steam for $37.09 four days ago, including tax. I attempted to request a refund from Steam due to persistent crashing and freezing issues. Despite only being able to play for a total of 3 hours and experiencing unplayable conditions such as frequent frame drops and severe lag, Steam denied my refund request citing that I played the game for longer than 2 hours. I am seeking a refund for the game as it is unplayable on my system.

Hello, I am seeking assistance regarding a situation with Steam gift cards mistakenly purchased by my mother-in-law. She intended to buy gift cards for general use but discovered they were restricted to Steam purchases. Upon attempting to return them, it was found that the cards had already been used. I am hoping to facilitate the return of $[redacted] to her either through a Visa gift card or reimbursement to her original payment method. Please provide guidance on the steps needed to address this matter. Thank you.

I urgently need assistance as my account has been compromised. My mobile number and email have been changed, and the mobile authenticator has been removed. I unknowingly clicked on a link sent by a friend, which led to my account being hacked. I understand the mistake and sincerely apologize for it. The email associated with the account was "[redacted]". My account username was "vpbalaji[redacted]9" with the password "blacklist1999". The hacker altered both the email and mobile number linked to the account. Although my mobile number, [redacted], still receives the authenticator codes, the account's name may have been changed to "WtF gamdom.com." Fortunately, I possess a six-digit Recovery Code, which I can provide if necessary.

I'm frustrated. I purchased a game, played it for just over three hours, and found it dull after the first two hours. One of those hours was spent searching for mods to enhance the game. When attempting to return the game, the return bot rejected my request since I played for more than two hours. I am eager to speak with a live representative. This is my initial return, and it may be my final acquisition unless I receive a refund. I am even willing to accept Steam credit, but please refund my purchase of Planet Coaster.

This individual scammed me: Steam Community Profile: [redacted]. They offered me a $[redacted] knife in exchange for my items. Unfamiliar with trading, I was directed to a website, Bitskins, to supposedly verify my items. Following their instructions, I ended up losing everything except my AWP Fever Dream and cases. My shared account with my father has been compromised, and I desperately seek the return of my lost items. Previously, I lost a Karambit Stained and an M9 Bayonet Boreal Forest in a similar scam. I am distraught and pleading for help. Steam, please assist me in recovering my items promptly.

I require assistance with my original nerdcubed69 account because I am unable to recover my Steam account following a malicious link I unwittingly clicked on. I need help regaining access as an individual in RU has taken over my account from the computer located at 95.[redacted].79.[redacted] (RU) without my permission. Could you please help me remove their email and replace it with mine? The unauthorized activities occurred at 3:20 a.m., where the individual removed my email, changed the password, and disabled my Steam Guard.

I believe my account has been compromised. I received a link to a website promising a free Steam key, which I excitedly clicked and entered my login information. Unfortunately, after that, I was immediately logged out and now cannot access my account despite trying various usernames and passwords. The account has been renamed to RLC with an anime profile picture, previously it had a seal holding a phone and was named RLC.SealStuff. I am desperate to regain access to my account. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

One of my friends had their account hacked on April 13th through a phishing link on Steam. Despite being the original owner for over 5 years with no VAC bans, Steam support claimed it wasn't originally theirs, leaving my friend frustrated. The hacker removed phone authentication and email access, sending out more phishing links to other friends. Another friend, who unknowingly clicked the link, also got hacked on April 14th but managed to recover the account the same day. The affected friend, Ninjashiv® from Trinidad, provided all necessary details to Steam support, including emails, phone number, and recent transactions. The situation is concerning as the hacker may continue targeting mutual friends.
