My name is Jillian D. and I am 19 years old. My Snapchat account was hacked by someone who also hacked another user. I mistakenly shared my account information with this person, thinking she was my cousin. They proceeded to message multiple girls, download photos from my and others' camera rolls and memories, and linked a TextNow app to a phone number ([redacted]). Over 10,[redacted] photos were stolen, with a suspected motive of obtaining sexually suggestive images. I am disappointed with the lack of support from Snapchat and TextNow. Despite changing my password and ensuring my contact information remained the same, my privacy was violated. I am unsure whether to blame my own judgment, Snapchat's customer service, or the malicious actions within the Snapchat community. I am seeking advice on how to proceed in this situation.

I have contacted Snapchat support regarding a hacking incident on my account. Despite receiving a generic response stating they cannot reset passwords for deactivated accounts, I want to emphasize that I did not deactivate my account; I believe it was hacked. My contacts can still see my name but cannot add me as a friend, as if they are blocked. The hacking incident occurred on May 21, [redacted], at 4:08 am from an iPhone11,2 near Union Park, FL (IP = 75.[redacted].[redacted].[redacted]). Subsequently, changes were made to my Snapchat phone number and email address. I have been trying to reach out to Snapchat but keep receiving automated responses. This situation is distressing as personal photos and videos, including cherished memories with my late grandfather, are at stake. Hello, I have been experiencing issues with my Snapchat account since Monday. Despite multiple attempts to reach out to Snapchat support, my account remains compromised. The email address and phone number associated with my account were changed without my consent. The new email is [redacted], and the phone number does not match mine, as mine ends in 69, not 77 as currently shown. I have attached screenshots illustrating these changes, as well as an email notification indicating the email update. Additionally, there is a screenshot of someone in the United States attempting to access my Gmail using an iPhone 6s. Due to these unauthorized alterations, I am unable to access my Snapchat account. Hello, I've submitted several tickets since Monday regarding my hacked Snapchat account, 'anna.grundy', but I haven't received any replies. The Snapchat support system online has been unhelpful as they haven't addressed the situation nor responded to me. On Thursday, May 16th, I reported unusual activity where my password was consistently changed. Although I managed to change it using my phone number, my ticket was ignored. On Monday, May 20th, my account password and phone number were changed, locking me out of my account. I reported this, expressing my frustration and received only automated responses. I believe Snapchat should be able to recover my account since a hacker accessed it to change the password multiple times. The account contains sentimental and important personal data. I'm hoping for a proper response and assistance in regaining access to my account.

I recently got a new phone and need help accessing my Snapchat account because I forgot my password. When I try to reset it, I have two options - getting a code via text or email. However, since I have a new phone number and email, I can't receive the codes. I request help to reset my password by sending a code to my new email address so I can regain access to my account. My brother also contacted support earlier. I urgently need to log in as someone important may reach out to me through Snapchat. I had a Snapchat account named “daisyhowlter” which I used for over 2 years without any issues. However, recently, when I tried to log back in after logging out on a friend's phone, my account was temporarily locked. After waiting 24 hours, it became permanently locked. I made new accounts, but they also got locked, including one I created on my iPad. Strangely, when I logged into my original account on the iPad, it worked fine but got locked again on my phone. Every new account ended up locked, even when I accessed the Snapchat website, which indicated my original account was permanently locked. It's frustrating to keep creating new accounts, and I would appreciate it if my old account could be unlocked as I'm unsure why this situation keeps happening. I am disappointed that you published the article about unattractive characters hiding behind beautiful faces on your platform. The majority of the examples presented are women, sending a negative message to young girls that not fitting a narrow beauty standard of perfect skin, hair, and body is unacceptable. For instance, implying that characters like Anne Hathaway in Princess Diaries, with her frizzy hair and glasses, are considered ugly is inappropriate. Similarly, suggesting that Vanessa Hudgens' character with a unique style and short hair is ugly is also concerning. I logged out of my Snapchat during a graduation party to take a break from snaps. When I tried to log back in, my account was locked. Hello, I hope all is well. I'm seeking assistance as I've been encountering some issues with Snapchat. A couple of days ago, upon logging in, I noticed that incoming pictures were not loading automatically. I had to manually swipe up to reload the snaps. Additionally, when I accessed the chat and swiped right, I observed that incoming messages were delayed in showing when someone is typing, and the messages took a while to load after being sent, requiring manual reloading as mentioned earlier. Despite attempts like reinstalling the app, resetting my phone, and logging in from a different device which did not resolve the problem. Please assist me promptly given the absence of a call center. Some time ago, I asked for my account to be deleted with the intention of creating a new one. Unfortunately, I realized too late that I hadn't backed up my contacts from the old account and lost all my information. Despite numerous attempts to log back in to prevent the deletion, the system keeps rejecting my login details as invalid. I've tried using my old password and even attempted to reset it using my email, but the system does not recognize my email address, even though I've received emails from this account before. I am in urgent need of access to this account, especially since I received a notification stating that I have less than four days to recover it before it's permanently closed.

My account was temporarily locked, and though I managed to unlock it on another device, it became locked again once I logged back in on my original device. I even created a new account due to the locking issue, and both accounts are now temporarily locked. I'm frustrated as I have important streaks I want to maintain, and I rely on Snapchat for all my communication needs. This situation is urgent as I need to inform my family and friends about something crucial. My account got temporarily locked. I unlocked it using another device, but it locked again once I logged back in. I created a new account when the old one was locked, and now both are temporarily locked. This is frustrating. I have streaks to maintain and use Snapchat as my main communication tool. I don't have Whatsapp or Instagram. I need to contact family urgently, but I'm unable to do so now. I don't have any third-party apps. I want my old and new accounts back without the "temporarily locked" issue.

Hello, I made a mistake by trusting a friend who took advantage of me by changing my account information. My friend's account might have also been hacked. I am unable to recover my account as the verification code is only being sent to a phone number controlled by the person who changed my information. I had created a Snapchat account a few years back but have not used it for about two years. I want to delete it permanently. However, I recently changed my phone number, and now I can't access my account linked to my old number. To delete my account, I need a code sent to my old number, which I can't receive. I have contacted the current owner of my old number but received no response. I am looking for a way to delete my Snapchat account without access to my old number.
