I have experienced extremely long wait times with Schlage, totaling over 1 hour and 14 minutes during three calls. I'm currently on hold again, already ten minutes into it. Despite troubleshooting, my Schlage keypad entry, installed in October, has stopped working. The code flashes green, but the lock doesn't engage. I had to get a regular deadbolt installed by a locksmith as a temporary fix for my rental apartment. It's frustrating that I can't seem to get through to customer service. I need this under-warranty issue resolved as soon as possible. I'm disappointed that I may have to pay for another locksmith visit to replace the keypad lock, costing me over $[redacted] due to the lock's malfunction.

My Schlage BE468 smart lock has malfunctioned. The keypad displays a red X and the app shows 0% battery, despite changing them. Previously, the touchpad failed, and I found condensation on the circuit board. Even after drying it, the issue recurred, indicating a need for replacement parts and a solution to prevent further damage.

I recently bought a Schlage Camelot Front Entry Handle with a Left-Handed Interior Lever in Aged Bronze. While the installation process was smooth, I encountered difficulty with assembling five separate parts that attach to the spring-loaded door latch bolt. This mechanism is operated by the outside thumb press and inside lever. I have a picture of the assembly issue. Any assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Troy A.

I am experiencing a similar issue with my lock. Everything seems to be functioning well except for the outer dial. Even after changing the battery recently, the dial does not consistently turn the bolt all the way. It frequently skips, making me concerned about the reliability of the lock. I worry that the electronics might be failing, causing the bolt to only partially extend at times. This uncertainty leaves me unsure if my home is truly secure. Often, when unlocking the door, it also feels like the bolt is not fully extending. This inconsistency in its operation is disconcerting and makes me hesitant to leave my home unattended.

I am experiencing issues with my Schlage BE365 Deadbolt's outer dial that frequently skips when locking or unlocking. This has been ongoing for many months, becoming more frequent over time. Even with a new high-end battery, the problem persists, leaving me concerned about the security of my home. I have reached out via email to '[redacted]' on 10/11/[redacted], providing all necessary details and have not received a response as of today, 10/15/[redacted]. My attempts to call have been unsuccessful due to long waits and only music on the line. I have one functioning Schlage lock that is six years old but the newer one, just over a year old, is the one presenting issues. I am disappointed by the lack of assistance from the company despite this being my first time seeking support.

Hello,
I am experiencing an issue with my Schlage keypad lock system. The passage latch mechanism is locked extended, preventing me from closing the door properly. It seems like something is broken inside the mechanism. This door is crucial for my home-based business, and I rely on it frequently to access my garage.
I would appreciate a certificate so I can exchange it at Lowes, where I originally purchased it last year. I have been waiting for customer service for about 20 minutes now, listening to the same piano tune on repeat. Please, I urgently need assistance with this matter.
Thank you,
Art

I am experiencing issues with my Schlage Connect lock. The touchscreen deadbolt is not functioning properly. I installed it about a year ago, and it worked well initially. However, I have had to replace the batteries multiple times in the last six months. The lock has not been working for over three months now. Despite following the troubleshooting tips in the user guide, I believe there may be an electronic problem. I have attempted to reach out to customer support multiple times but have not been able to get through, even after waiting on hold for over an hour on two separate occasions.

I had a Schlage BE469NX Connect Smart Lock with Century Trim and Z-Wave Compatibility installed by my builder two years ago. The lock functions well, but I have noticed that the Thumbturn seems to slip, preventing me from fully closing the lock even after cycling it. Additionally, I sometimes receive alerts hours later that the lock has been unlocked after manually closing it.
I have attempted to contact the US Customer Service Number at [redacted] multiple times over the past two days without success. I am met with continuous piano music for an hour before the call is disconnected. This lack of response is disappointing. How can I arrange for the lock to be repaired or replaced so that I can trust its functionality when manually closing it?

I bought a B262 keypad deadbolt about two weeks ago. I installed it, and it initially worked well for a day and a half. However, the lock stopped working from the outside. After disassembling and reassembling it, the same issue arose. It seems the tailpiece on the back of the lock cylinder is too short and keeps falling out. Despite my experience with locks, I couldn't resolve the problem. I attempted to contact customer service but faced difficulties getting through. Should I request a longer tailpiece or return the lockset?

Recently, at my commercial building, I had a major break-in attempt resulting in two steel door deadbolts being punched out about ten days ago. I purchased two B60 deadbolts from Home Depot and installed them without any issues. However, I encountered a problem when I tried to remove the keys - they got stuck and required a strong upward force to come out. Despite trying to lubricate the locks, the issue persisted. I'm concerned about leaving the doors vulnerable with the keys jammed in them. I attempted to call for assistance but was on hold for 50 minutes and had to give up. It seems like there might be a key error preventing the withdrawal. Any advice on an easy repair solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. J. Potasznik

I purchased a Schlage lock set, style Accent, from Lowe’s two days ago. The model is keyed entry with a code number A56816 and another number F51VACC619. I bought it to replace my existing lock due to difficulty with key insertion. The Lowe’s employee agreed to key the new set to match my old key. However, as she worked on it, I became skeptical of her expertise. After her work, I tried the new key at home and it didn't function. I intend to return the product to Lowe’s tomorrow and request a refund of $46.97.

I need assistance programming my Schlage keypad deadbolt. I attempted to call twice for a combined total of 45 minutes without success. I am frustrated with the lack of service and the automated system. The keypad is already installed on the door, and I require guidance on programming it. If I cannot receive help, I will have to return the product. I find it hard to believe that the instructions are insufficient, and the phone lines seem overwhelmed with others experiencing similar difficulties. If possible, please reach out to me at [redacted].

I recently purchased a new Schlage Entry lock, Model # FE695, from Amazon on Oct 13, [redacted]. After installing it and entering the code correctly, the inside lever is functional, but the outside handle does not move the latch. Despite checking the battery connection and re-plugging it, the issue with the outside lever persists. The lock beeps and a green light flashes when the code is entered, but the latch remains unaffected. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help. - T.S.

I am having difficulty contacting customer service. I bought a lock on 10/31/[redacted] which now has a mechanical issue that should be within the warranty coverage. This problem has left my front door permanently locked, making it necessary to manually open it with a screwdriver, creating a safety concern for my family. I have tried to reach out to Schlage without success. The email support form is malfunctioning, and calls have resulted in long wait times of 33, 28, and finally 47 minutes with no response. It is crucial to have a way to access warranty support for a lock meant to ensure the security and safety of homes.

I'm experiencing connectivity problems with my Schlage Encode Smart WIFI Deadbolt. While I had successfully connected it before, I am now struggling to maintain the connection. I am unable to reconnect following the instructions provided by Schlage. As it is the weekend, I am unable to seek assistance from Schlage Customer Service. I am in urgent need of clear step-by-step guidance on how to re-establish the connection.
