On April 11, during our return journey on flight QR [redacted] from Sao Paulo to Hong Kong, my wife and I, along with several other passengers, experienced an unexpected issue at Qatar airport. However, the details of the issue were not clearly communicated to us. Subsequently, we were rerouted to Manila before reaching Hong Kong. It appears that only the economy class passengers were affected by this issue. Qatar Airways mentioned compensating us $[redacted] per person for the inconvenience, but we have not received any further updates from them. I am seeking guidance on how to proceed with claiming the compensation promised by Qatar Airways. Hello, my name is Salim Abdullah. I took a flight from London to Tehran on 20/04/[redacted], but my baggage didn't arrive with me. When I tried to claim it at Tehran airport, they didn't allow me to retrieve my personal items like clothes, shoes, perfumes, and body shampoo. I'm now returning to London on 04/06/[redacted], and they instructed me to bring back the baggage. I'm unsure of what steps to take next. I would appreciate any assistance.

I am still waiting for a response to my inquiry from 10 days ago. I mentioned I couldn't access the Qatar Airways website. My Qatar Airways Privilege Card details were not recognized. I need to book flights to the Philippines soon but unsure if I have enough Qmiles/Avios points for a class upgrade. I've attempted to send this message thrice without any reply. I can't locate a local (Cyprus) phone number to call for assistance. Please, could you help me with this issue?

I booked my travel to the USA with reference T3L6DF. Originally planned to stay from 9th May to 6th August, but due to an emergency, I had to return in less than two weeks. When I tried to change my return flight date, I was unable to find any available bookings. As a result, I had to cancel my reservation and requested a refund for my return ticket with Qatar Airways. I received an email confirming that the refund would be processed back to the original payment method. However, I have yet to receive the refund in my account. Thank you, V.O.

I kindly request to change the dates of my second flight. The booking reference number is RFUBZ3. I need to change the return date from Mozambique to London Gatwick from the 5th of July to the 9th of July. I am unsure if there will be any additional charges for this date change. Additionally, I was unable to select seats for the flights where British Airways is involved, and I would like to sit with my partner if possible. Hello, on April 12th, we returned home to Frankfurt from our vacation in Oman (Ref. OIL8KE). During the outbound flight, we faced an issue where our luggage was delayed for one day in Doha, leading to a disrupted start to our holiday. Upon our return, we discovered that two out of three suitcases were damaged. The handle of the first suitcase was broken (see Ref. FRA[redacted]), and the second suitcase, belonging to our son (his Star Wars suitcase, which cost over [redacted] EUR), was nearly torn at one corner. I have reached out multiple times via email to report these damages but have not received any response in almost 8 weeks. Is this the standard of service that Qatar Airways, renowned as the best airline in the world, upholds? I expect prompt feedback and that both suitcase damages (including the one not initially recorded by the staff at the counter) and the lost holiday day will be appropriately addressed.

My travel with American Airways was delayed, which led to a reroute of my flight and baggage. The Record Locator number is ICHNOB, and my baggage tag number is AA [redacted] [redacted] [redacted]. The bag was meant to be rerouted via Flight QR [redacted] from Seattle to DOH on June 13, and then via Flight QR [redacted] from DOH to Manila on June 14. Needing to confirm the status of my bag quickly as I depart from Manila on JAL Flight JL746 on Friday, June 16. It has been delayed over 6 days, and despite being told it should reach my hotel on Thursday evening, I have not received it or any status update. Kindly advise on the baggage status.

Hello, I was on a flight from Doha to Denpasar on May 11th, where we encountered severe turbulence. I hit the roof twice, bumped my head on the chair, and my partner cut his toe while I injured my finger. The flight was diverted to Bangkok for the night. I have been informed that I am not eligible for compensation. I was in Business Class, a first for us, and was looking forward to it, but the second crew members were terrible. They said there was no alcohol as they hadn't restocked, but when others complained, suddenly it appeared. I didn't receive the exceptional service the first crew provided, even when they were injured. They couldn't do enough for us, a real credit to Qatar Airways. The meals were just placed on the table without the same level of service as the first time. I am disappointed by the treatment from a top-class airline. If you can't assist, I will have to seek legal advice. I lost a day and a half of my holiday and have been in pain for a week. Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to address a concerning incident involving your Qatar Airways employee that affected my family of three on June 10, [redacted]. My husband purchased a one-way ticket to the Philippines with the intention of buying a return ticket later, as he was accompanying our 14-year-old son who was born in the Philippines and holds passports from both the Philippines and Norway. Despite having an authorization letter and valid documents, the Qatar Airways employee refused to accept them. When asked about the return ticket, my husband explained that we planned to buy it when I joined them the following month. Subsequently, my husband tried to purchase a return ticket on the spot, but the employee rejected it, citing it was over the 30-day restriction. My husband, who recently suffered a brain stroke, sought assistance as my elderly mother-in-law was also part of the journey and needed support. I am seeking a full refund for the flight ticket with the number "[redacted][redacted]" from Lebanon to Canada and back. The booking was made through an agency, but a miscommunication led to an unintended reservation. This has left me unable to use the ticket, causing financial strain. Hello, I am Dr. Abdelelah Alfarraj, a passenger with Qatar Airways. I flew on 10/7/[redacted] from Amman to Casablanca via Doha, with a return ticket scheduled for 14/7/[redacted] from Casablanca to Doha to Amman. I requested the Amman office to change my return destination to Dammam, for which I paid a $15 service fee. However, upon check-in for my Casablanca flight, I encountered issues with my ticket. Despite attempts to resolve the problem, the solutions offered did not cover the costs of a new ticket adequately. I have not confirmed the ticket cancellation, as I received an email requesting confirmation. Due to the error made by the Amman office, I find myself stranded in Casablanca without a return ticket. I had to cancel another ticket to Dammam via Saudia Arabian Airlines assuming the amendment was correctly made to Dammam. I seek to reinstate the amendment to Dammam or revert to my original return ticket to Amman on 14/7/[redacted]. Thank you.

Dear team, I recently flew with Qatar Airways from Sydney to Cairo and back in March. Overall, the service was excellent, but I would like to address a peculiar incident that occurred during the Doha-Cairo flight with the cabin crew. On Friday, March 3rd, on flight QR1303 departing at [redacted] and arriving at [redacted], there was an issue concerning a passenger's backpack. The passenger adjacent to me had a standard-sized backpack that could easily fit under the seat in front of her. She preferred to keep it at her feet, but the crew insisted it be stored in the overhead compartment. Although space was limited, they managed to stow it there. Oddly, another passenger across from us had a significantly larger bag that couldn't fit under the seat, yet the crew allowed her to keep it on her lap for the duration of the flight, which surprised us.
