I sent an email on 3/27/19 about a questionable message from a non-POF user. The email includes a suspicious request from someone trying to set up their friend named Michael. The message seems like a scam. I am following up as I haven't received a response from POF yet. I attached a copy of the email for reference. Can you kindly investigate and provide feedback before I reply to the email? Thank you for your assistance. - Charlotte

Hello, I have been a sporadic member since [redacted], sometimes upgrading. Since re-joining in August [redacted], I have encountered an abundance of messages from scammers as soon as I log in. These users have poor English skills, use photos of people much younger than their stated age, and have inappropriate profile content. Despite claims of preventing scammers, I consistently receive up to 12 such messages within minutes of logging in daily. Being an upgraded member on POF should be enjoyable, but instead, it feels like dealing with a frustrating boss at a dead-end job. My upgraded membership expires tomorrow, and despite receiving an email from Markus urging me to stay, I find it hard to believe in the effectiveness of the scam prevention measures mentioned. I expect better from POF as a loyal user. I have decided not to upgrade in the future, and my recommendation to friends will depend on how my concerns are addressed. Dealing with numerous scammers with your apparent approval is a significant waste of time. As a seasoned POF user, I am open to assisting your team in screening applications in exchange for fair compensation. Thank you. Daniel M.

I need assistance with a recent payment issue with Plenty of Fish. They charged $[redacted] in various increments this morning from a credit line I just received on a Cod account I've had for 6 months, which I have never used for POF. I am unsure how these charges were made, but I request the funds to be refunded urgently today. Please get in touch via email at [redacted] or reach me directly at [redacted]. This situation feels unlawful, and if not resolved promptly, I may have to consider legal action. The funds were crucial for my plans, and it is distressing to have them taken without my consent. I urge for immediate attention to rectify this issue without delay.

I need assistance. I recently noticed an unauthorized charge of $[redacted] from my credit card linked to Plenty of Fish. This credit card is not used for this service, so I am confused as to how they obtained the information to charge it. I urgently require the refund to be processed today. I don't want any delays. I insist that the funds be returned to my Merrick Bank Visa card promptly. This error has disrupted my finances significantly, and I am prepared to take legal action if the refund is not issued immediately. Please refrain from requesting further clarification and take action swiftly. You can reach me at [redacted] or via email at [redacted] I expect a prompt resolution. Thank you.

Hello, I used POF 5 years ago when I lived in Longmont, Boulder County. I had to change my phone number and email due to a woman stalking me, which caused quite a bit of trouble. She went into my POF account and made changes that weren't true. I have since moved to California. My old account email was [redacted] and old phone number [redacted]. My name is Lamar Puett. Now, my contact details are the same, just with new phone number [redacted] and new email [redacted] I can't access my old email due to the number change. Please assist me in resolving this issue caused by the woman who stalked me. Thank you for your time. - Lamar Puett

I have been talking to a guy who calls himself Raymond, a marine engineer. Everything was going well until two weeks ago when he started asking for £[redacted]. I told him I didn't have it, but he became aggressive, telling me to borrow from the bank, friends, or family. I refused to borrow money from others. Now he's back using the name Smith.[redacted] on this site. Last week, he sent me a photo of a hand holding a ring, claiming it's a £30,[redacted] ring he'd buy if I gave him the money for an air ticket. His stories are all about pressuring me for money. I removed him as my contact, but he reappeared with a different name. He claims to own a 5-bedroom house in Notting Hill Gate with a nanny for his 15-year-old son, but it all seems like a scam. Please take action to prevent him from using this site.

I am having trouble viewing profiles when I receive a "wants to meet you" message through the website. Previously, I could easily access the sender's profile by clicking on the attached link and entering their username in the inbox. Now, when I click on the link, it only shows a list of online users. I really want to be able to see the profiles of those who have messaged me. This feature has always worked for me using the attached link. Why is it not working anymore?

I am experiencing issues receiving messages and pictures on the Plenty of Fish app. I don't understand why I might be having this problem, as I don't believe I have done anything wrong. I am concerned that the company may not want me on their site, and I would like to know if there are any issues with my account. I have tried using both my main email ([redacted]) and my recovery email ([redacted]), but both are showing errors. When I try to log in with my password, it continues to show errors and I cannot access messages or update the app. I suspect my older phone, which is unable to update to the latest Google Chrome version, might be causing the problem. I am unsure how to contact the company for help, and I am at a loss for what to do next.

I accessed my Plenty of Fish account today and was conversing with a gentleman. After logging out briefly, I tried to log back in but was unable to as it said my password had been changed. I did not make any changes to my password. I created a new account to seek help from the support team but now I cannot access that account either, stating my password or username is incorrect. My original account, which I have had for a long time, is [redacted], but I no longer have access to that email. The new account is [redacted] I have submitted multiple requests for a password reset email, but have not received anything. This situation is causing me a lot of frustration, as I missed out on a date tonight. Please assist in resolving this issue promptly.

I typically use the email address rlegard@.com. Lately, whenever I use that email address with any username like focus_614, I receive an error message stating that the username is invalid. The system specifies that usernames should only contain letters A to Z, underscore (_), certain accented characters, and numbers 0 to 9. No spaces or other characters are allowed. When I change my email address but keep the same username, I can create my account, but after approximately 30 minutes, the system deletes it. I have tried creating multiple accounts with different emails, but none have been successful. It seems like my rlegard@.com email may be blocked. I would appreciate your assistance in allowing my [redacted] address to work correctly.

My Plenty of Fish account has likely been compromised. I opened an account on March 23 with the username Manillaa and the email address [redacted] I've been unsuccessful in logging in with my username or email on multiple devices. After requesting a new password to be sent to my email, I never received the reset email, even after checking my junk folder. It appears there has been unauthorized access. I suspect the individual I turned down on the site is behind this intrusion. Can you assist me in resetting my password so that I can remove my picture and profile from the platform? Although I'm not concerned about the messages, I'm anxious about the hacker possibly having access to my email. I would appreciate your help in regaining access to my account. I'm new to using this platform and have only had the account for a short time. Though I'm pleased with the messages and interactions, I didn't anticipate being a victim of hacking.

I'm having trouble logging in despite changing my information. I can't remember my username. Recently, I mistakenly uploaded a personal photo to my profile and deleted it quickly. While chatting, I realized some individuals were inappropriate or deceitful. I've tried other sites but none compare to this one. Please help me reactivate my account as I'm serious about finding a meaningful relationship. If I have broken any rules unintentionally, I apologize and assure it won't happen again. I appreciate the site's standards compared to others with offensive language. Please treat this as a genuine apology. My email is [redacted], and my password is Only1Bill! I've tried changing my ID to sunshine, craftychic, and Iam1bai but unsure if it went through. Thank you for your help. Sincerely, Janis A.

After receiving the confirmation email for the new profile creation, I faced trouble logging in. Despite attempting to reset the password and create the profile again, I still couldn't access the website. I'm reaching out for assistance to resolve this issue and gain access to my new profile. Dear Customer Service Team, I recently deleted my profile under the username "Greezdlitenun" and created a new one as "Whitelitenun". After receiving the confirmation email for the new profile, I tried to log in but was unable to due to incorrect password error. Despite attempting to reset the password twice, I did not receive the reset email. Consequently, I recreated the profile as "Whitelitenun" for the second time, yet faced the same issue with logging in and resetting the password. Could you kindly assist me in accessing my new profile or provide guidance on the next steps to resolve this matter? Thank you, Myles

Hello, I am having trouble recovering my old account password as the email links do not seem to be coming through. I have attempted this numerous times without success. Additionally, I am unable to create a new account as the human verification process keeps looping me back to the user name page, even with a different email address. I have not violated any rules or been banned, as far as I know, and I simply wish to use POF again. I am currently in the Philippines without access to phone or text services, only internet on my iPhone. Despite the frustrations I've encountered, I do not want to give up. Thank you for your assistance. - Darren

Is there a solution to the ongoing issue of numerous scam and adult service profiles on the platform? A significant portion of the profiles seem to be explicit in nature, utilizing images from other websites and often identical in content to others. Despite reporting them, they persist for days and some reappear even after multiple reports. Profiles with random number-letter combinations appear to be particularly suspicious. I am willing to help in addressing this problem, though I understand if granting such authority is not viable. If you need assistance in promptly removing these profiles for the benefit of users, feel free to reach out. Wishing you a great week ahead.

Is there a way to address the persistent issue of scam and porn/prostitute profiles cluttering up online platforms? It's frustrating to see such a large number of these profiles, many of which are easily identifiable due to their content and images. Reporting them sometimes leads to their removal, but some profiles continue to linger despite multiple reports. These profiles often reuse the same text and images found elsewhere on the internet. I'd be willing to help in flagging and removing these profiles to provide temporary relief for other users. Profiles with random numbers and letters often turn out to be scams. Feel free to reach out if you need assistance in swiftly dealing with this ongoing problem. Have a great week.
